Solstice nodded to this suggestion before brushing past Lanying and Bakari. She could still feel the pain through the link but the sensations were dwindling and becoming weaker as time passed. The clearing in which the accident had occurred now was empty and she pushed back the foliage before searching around for her children. Mizuiro was right were she had left him. Leaning down she plucked her son up by the scruff of his neck and began to follow Lanying before glancing back. Her daughter still remained behind.
Placing Mizuiro down again she glanced to Lanying before sighing softly. "I think that our daughter might need a motivational push."
Bakari had remained motionless during the transfer. He let out a few chirps in protest before realizing that maybe this was the best way to go about a solution to his dilemma. As his keen gaze tracked Solstice through her actions he let himself try to relax. His companion was fine and he needed to focus on getting better so he could once again help her if she needed it.

“ Hang on Bakuri. ” He wasn’t completely sure if the creature could understand him but he spoke to it anyway. Slowly standing he shifted to keep the weight centered on his back. Starting out he moved towards his daughter. “ I’ll get her, not to worry. ” Reaching the little one he gently leaned down and lifted her up with him before continuing on in Solstice’s direction. Reaching her side he tried to give her a smile while holding there daughter but it came out looking more like he was feeling sick. Onwards he headed towards the steam, not wanting to make Bakuri wait to long. The plant he searched for would not only help him heal but dull the pain as well.

Solstice watched with a little bit of anxiety as Bakari was positioned on Lanying's back before she shook her head softly. The white Tae would make sure that no more harm would come to the pandryl if he could avoid it. Her gaze settled on the ground below as she padded carefully a little ways behind Lanying. Mizuiro was a blue blob in her mouth as she tried to block the feeling of agony from Bakari. It wasn't the kindest thing she'd done but in order to get to where they were heading it was easier if she could concentrate on her surroundings.
Bakari made a light chirp in response to Lanying's statement before he let his eyes close. He could 'feel' the wall that Solstice was using as a block and it briefly saddened him. The idea dwelled in his mind that perhaps he wasn't as needed as he originally thought. But that was not the case and he knew in his heart the truth behind Solstice's actions. He let out another quiet chirp before falling silent.
Mizuiro heard the chirping and tried to fix his gaze on what was making them with little success. His vision was still too poor and it did not help that his mother was falling a little behind the other large shape that he could focus on. He mewed softly before wiggling around. He wanted to be down on the ground and not being moved around like a ragdoll. The grip on his neck bothered him and he tried to fight against it. A whine-like sound emitted from his throat as he tried to convey his desire to be put down.

It wasn't right away that he noticed his mate was falling behind. Infact it wasn't until Mizuiro let out a mew that he know. The little ones destressed noises seemed further away then they should. So stopping he turned to look at Solstice a moment. He wanted to stop to help her with there son, but with the pandryl on his back and his daughter carried in him mouth he couldn't.
He also knew that the longer it took him to get to the stream the longer it would be before he could releave Bakari's pain and in turn the longer Solstice would feel his pain. With a stern look at his son as his mate neared her stook his head lightly, though the boy probably couldn't see yet. Then he turned and comtinued on. It was only a few more minutes before he reached the stream and placed his daughter down.
Glancing around he tried to spot what he would need for the healing mixture he was going to create, while he lowered his body to the grown for the dragon to climb off of his back. He knew that if he couldn't spot what he needed right here it wouldn't be far off and here was a good place for the others to rest. Looking back the way he had come he waited for Solstice and hoped she wasn't in to much pain.

Solstice finally gave in to the desire expressed by her son and lowered herself to the ground before releasing him. It was less of a struggle to deal with a uncooperative son if he was on the ground and not writhing around in her mouth. Solstice's gaze caught Lanying's as he also released their daughter and lowered himself to the ground so that Bakari could slide off his back. Feeling his gaze on her she gave a reassuring smile to the white Tae before going over to nuzzle Li-Hua. She gently nudged both rinas to a spot where she could watch over both of them.
Her gaze then settled on her familiar and she sighed before approaching the pandryl. Her eyes examined Bakari's injury more closely before she turned her gaze back onto her children.
Bakari needed no prompting to slide off of Lanying's back when he lowered himself closer to the ground and he moved away from the white Tae as Solstice entered the clearing. He watched as she gathered the two rinas together before coming over to examine him and he chirped softly to her. Unlike when others heard him chirp ... this one carried a question that only Solstice could hear. He watched her as she shook her head in the negative before resuming a cautious watch over her children.

Once her paws where on the ground again Li-Hua tried to scurry off, before her mother herded her towards her brother. She mewed lightly and looked at the other figure that was her size. Her vision was becoming slightly clearer. The fuzzy images where taking on her firm shapes and slightly less blurry colors. Mewing again she crawled closer to the male Rina before quickly pouncing it in a playful manner.
Once Bakari had climbed down Lanying stood again, stretching a little before stepping over to his mate. "What I'm after is likely a little ways up stream. It shouldn't be far at all though, I'd only be gone a few minutes." He watched there children a moment before looking to Solstice. "Will you be ok along with them right now?" He was worried about the pain he knew she was in. He didn't want to leave her alone at all but he knew it would be faster to travel by himself too.

Mizuiro let out a squeak of protest as something bowled him over completely. Shaking off his sister's pounce he raised his nose to the air to try and scent her. His eyesight too was beginning to improve but he couldn't quite trust it yet. Unknown to him his next action mirrored Li-Hua's previous one. He lowered himself into a crouch ... but more out of the necessity to provide a smaller area to hit. With an uncertain pause Mizuiro glanced around trying to figure out where another attack might come from.
Solstice watched the children briefly before glancing to Lanying. "I will be fine I think. Just don't wander too far. Bakari's pain is lessening but I still feel it to a degree."
She glanced at the dragon-like creature before sighing. He was in the middle of the clearing but far enough from their seemingly rambunctious rinas. She broke out in a small smile as Li-Hua unerringly tracked down her brother's position and pounced on him.

Lanying nodded lightly, leaning over a little and nuzzling her check. Giving her a lick on the cheek before standing straight and starting to trek up stream. "I wont go far, just call if you need me and I should hear you." With that he picked up speed, his paws splashing in the waters at the edge of the stream as he moved out of veiw.
Li-Hua's mewed as her brother knocked her off of him. She lay there on her back, paws in the air. She stared up blinking before she started to wiggle her legs, rolling back over before standing up. She mewed at her brother and was about to pounce him again before she spotted her mothers tail. She couldn't tell what it was but she knew it was small enough for her to catch. Crouching down she slowing inched forwards, the tip of her tail twitching behind her a little. With one swift movement she pounced the fluffly end of her mothers tail, holding it down with her paws and chittering slightly.

Hearing his sister chitter a little further away from his location Mizuiro breathed a little sigh of relief. It wasn't a telling motion but he didn't like it when his sister used him as target practice. Mewing softly he tracked down his mother's scent and listened to her speak. A moment of confusion followed before he nestled into his mother's side. He yawned and let his eyes close. There was an innate sense of safety that the young male associated with his parents. The closer he was to one of them the safer he felt.
Solstice merely nodded in response to Lanying's instructions before feeling a weight land on her tail. Her gaze swept down to see Li-Hua's claws trapping the fluffy end piece. Her daughter's chittering made her smile. "Now now Li-Hua. You must let go of my tail soon."
She glanced around the clearing before returning her attention to her children. Right now was not the time to worry about Lanying. She had to watch out for Bakari and any possible danger that lurked nearby.

Li-Hua’s little ears twitched as her mother spoke to her but her attention remained on the fluffy tail end. Leaning down she took a chunk of fur into her mouth before removing her paws and lifting the tail end. She tugged at the fur ball, and as a result she pulled it out of her month. Chittering again she pounced it once more and once more she leaned down and grabbed the fur in her teeth.
It didn’t take Lanying long to find was he was looking for, though who knows how the male Tae managed to spot it at a dead run. Stopped a few feet from the edge of the stream he sniffed around the strange looking plants. They had long thick shoots that stuck up at a slightly tilted angle from the base of the plant. Each shoot had a vibrant yellow flower blooming at the top. Sniffing at the blooms Lanying picked out to that smelt just right, they would hold the best healing powers.
Using a paw he bent them both over and then with a sharp claw he cut them free of the rest of the plant. Gently he lifted them in his mouth and turned back towards his mate, once more at a dead run. It was only a few moment before he splashed down the stream in into sight of the pale colored female.
Dropping the plant trimmings on a rock near her he looked to his mate with a tender expression. “Hope I wasn’t to long.”
