Riku heard the tone in the others voice, and nervously, got into bed with the other, taking him in his arms like he used to do whenever Sora and he were younger and Sora stayed the night, when Sora had nightmares. He gently pet the other, feeling two little bumps on his head but ignoring it. Instead who continued to pet the other gently rockign him back and forth and whispering soothing words to him.

Noticing Lavi had finally gone to sleep, Riku checked the spots he had felt the bumps at, it was odd they were aligned evenly. Moving hair away from them, he noticed it appeared to be two orange tufts of hair in a hair ties, Riku thought this was odd, until he took the hair ties off, which answered his question quickly on what Lavi was hiding. The tufts of hair were actually rabbit ears. "Woah." Was all Riku could say. When the other woke up, he wanted some answers. He sat, simply watching the other sleep.

"I was worried something might be wrong with you once I felt the bumps. But now I just have more questions." Riku told him without missing a beat. He began to pet Lavi again. "I won't ask them right now though, i'd rather wait till you get some more sleep in, ok?" Riku felt like he was petting well....a pet, but he ignored it.

Riku sprung from the bed, giving chase. He followed Lavi all the way to the observation tower, finding Lavi in the corner Cloud liked to hide in when Tifa was after him or he and Squall had fought(which wasn't often), he went up to him, rubbing soothing circles on his back. "Noone will hate you for that. Hell! Donald and Goofy are walking talking animals, even the King!" He embraced the sobbing teen in a hug. "Now, lets calm you down and get you back to Merlins, we have alot to clear up, okay?" He asked Lavi, standing up and holding his hand out in a gesture to help him up.

Riku blushed, though this time kissed back, enjoying it, it also made him feel slightly possessive of the other,, growling slightly at the thought of Sora. "I'm mad at him to, and he won't have to hear it, we can send him out. Just please come back with me."

Once the two had finished eating, Riku looked at Lavi questioningly. "Alright, now, where did you come from? And how did you get those ears?"

Riku looked at him. "So, you have no clue how you got the ears, and you won't tell me about your world? Fine, well, at least answer this; why......why do I need to own you?" The words were out of his mouth before Riku could stop himself. He looked fearfully at the other, afraid of what he would say.

Riku didn't know how to explain it either, so he tried to find the best way. "Well, when your around, I feel....protective, possessive, when you were hurt yesterday, I just wanted to throttle him. Dammit! I feel like your mine!" He yelled out.
