Revised April 9, 2007
1. Follow the Gaia Online Rules
We here at the Windier Star Guild believe firmly in upholding the Gaia Online TOS. It’s the best and easiest way to make sure the guild stays open. This means:
<>Keep it PG-13
Gaia is a place for anime and b/c fans of all ages to come together and interact in a safe environment. Please realize that some content out there, especially related to yaoi/shonen ai, is not suitable for our younger members.
<>Watch your Language
Some are offended by vulgar language. While we understand that some swearing is for dramatic effect or is considered IC (in character), we do ask that you try to keep it to a minimum and try to refrain from using the ‘F’ word.
2. Do NOT Plagiarize
Anyone caught claiming anyone else’s work (writing, art, icon, ect.) as their own will be automatically banned pending an investigation carried out by either the Captain or one of the Vice Captains
3. Play Nice.
As the guild continues to grow, so will differing opinions and ideas. After all, this is a place to roleplay and discuss potential ideas. However, this means that you won’t always agree with another’s views. That’s fine. We just ask that you refrain from ‘bashing’ or creating arguments on list. This goes for different pairings as well. Don’t like it, fine, but please don’t bash it. If you have a problem with another member, please take your issues off the guild. (PM is made for that).
4. Remain on topic
You’ll find that the conversations in the various threads tend to drift, but we ask that you keep on the topic of Windier Star. We do have a subforum for unrelated discussions. Please use them accordingly.
5. No Spamming
Frankly, it’s annoying. It’s not about quantity, it’s about quality. Keeps your ‘bumps’ to yourself.
6. Literacy is a Must
Now we’re not saying you need to be a Grammar God, typos happen. It you have problems spelling, keep a dictionary handy. Also, please read over your posts for mistakes before you submit. Illegible posts only reflect poorly on you… the rest of us are laughing…
Please Note:
Some of the subforums have their own rules within, be sure to read them.
