Chris pulled himself up the tree, one hand over the other on the trunk as if it was a rope. He grinned as he realized that he had just hit the motherload. "Thanks, Uncle Shade!" he called, sticking his head out of the tree.

"Not a problem, kiddo," Shade called. "But don't take all of them. There's a few other kids that'll be able to climb that."

"Alright," he said. "Rory!" he called down. "Or Orli! Somebody get ready to catch these!" he said before starting to drop the eggs from the tree.

"Uwah!" exclaimed Orli - there were colorful plastic eggs falling from the sky! She lifted her basket over her head for protection and inadvertently caught one.

Hah!

A sly grin growing on her face, Orli began to run back and forth catching eggs in her basket as Chris threw them. This was fun! They were going to have so many eggs! Pretty soon, the basket was full.

"No more!" she shouted to the boy in the tree. "We got lots!"

Rory laughed with delight, running to catch eggs in one of the two baskets and let Orli get some of them too. The rain of plastic eggs was great! And even ever one was missed, she left it on the group till Chris was done dropping eggs. Then she started the pick up the missed ones, dividing them between baskets.

That was only fair, after all. But once that was done, she looked around again though she wasn't looking for eggs. She was looking for another friend and Polly wasn't here. She would have loved this game.

Nataya grinned, placing her egg in her basket. She then began looking for more eggs, looking side the swings. "Egg?" she murmered softly, but she didn't see one. Oh well. She moved to the next swing; nothing. She then began looking in the wood chips again. Those eggs couldn't hide forever!

The siren blinked a few times at this unfamiliar girl, before smiling and nodding. She liked hunting with others, rather than on her own anyway.

She walked over to the rest of the group, eyeing their full baskets enviously. They seemed to be better egg-hunters than she was! The siren frowned a bit at her one lone egg, before a mint-colored egg plopped into her basket. She gave a chirp of surprise, before looking up and seeing... Christian?! The monster baby she'd met before? The one with two voices?
"Chr.... Christian?" she called in a bewildered tone. "You got b-bigger! E-euh, I mean, you, y-you grew up!" Casia gave an inward smile, understanding that she wasn't the only one that got growth spurts. And yet Chris' was a particularly powerful one; the tree was bending slightly due to his size. She seemed envious of his strength, despite having wings that were becoming stronger each day.

"Yeah," he said, grinning at her and dropping another egg into her basket before he dropped down out of the tree. "I got bigger." Which was said blandly, with the only hint of amusement being in his eyes. "We're going to the jungle gym now, right, girls?" he asked the two. "Wanna come with us?" he asked Casia.

Antony was watching Chris, having finally noticed the other boy instead of being focused on his shoes. "He's gotten huge, hasn't he?" he asked.

"Yes, he has. He's going to get bigger, too," Shade said honestly. "Poor kid wasn't made for Gaia."

"Looks more like he was made to wrestle elephants," Antony drawled, before catching sight of Kisala. He smiled, getting to his feet. "Hello!" he called to her, heading over. "Welcome to the Easter Egg hunt. Here's a basket."

Rory also dropped one of the fallen eggs into Casia's basket. "Chris was big before, now he huge!" she told the winged girl almost proudly. "But we go to jungle gym now, and get Casia more eggs!" They had plenty of luck with Chris' tree climbing, now it was time to spread the egg finding luck!

"Casia needs more eggs!" She would have held a hand for Orli again, but her hands were full with two baskets: hers and Chris'. "I Rory, by the way," she then added in a belayed greeting and a sheepish little smile. "And this is Orli!" She also introduced the smaller girl.

Kisala beamed at Antony, taking the basket he offered,
"Thanks!" she said, stuffing the egg she'd spotted on her way in into it,
"I guess I'm a little behind, huh? Is there a limit to the number of eggs you're allowed to find?"

She loved treasure hunts, and this was sort've like a treasure hunt! She would have to use all of her deductive skills to figure out where all the eggs were! And afterwards, she'd try to figure out what was in them. That was always fun too.

All the attention the siren was receiving made her stammer in embarrassment. "H-how do you do?" she replied to Rory with a slightly shy smile, and nodding to Orli. Seeing this fallen star toddler made her widen her eyes in awe. "Y-your hair, it's.. it's glowing!" she stated dumbly.

Casia looked back up at Chris, pausing for a moment, before nodding slowly. "It's more fun searching with others, 'cause then it's not like a contest," she said, before giving a sage-like nod.

"Exactly," Chris said in agreement as he started for the jungle gym to see if there were any eggs there. Obviously he would eat whatever the girls couldn't, he thought. It would be helping them!

"You can fill the basket," Antony told her. "Then if the other kids have all filled their baskets to the top, we might let you guys go out and do another round." He looked over the groups, checking to see if anyone was still alone. He didn't see anyone. "You want me to help you look?" he offered.

Orli paused for a moment and looked at her hair and then at Casia. "It does that," she said with a smile, and looked over at Chris.

"My basket's full," she said, pointing to it proudly. She bent over and picked a fallen egg out of the grass curiously. She wanted very much to see what was in it and stuck her little fingernails into the seam along the center. The egg split smoothly to reveal a chocolate.

"Treasure!" she said excitedly, popping it into her mouth.

Indeed they couldn't, for in venturing to the wooden barrier of the swings he located not one, but two small eggs. He offered the first one he picked up to Nataya again. "So we be even, 'kay?" Carlisle didn't want her feelings to get hurt, after all, especially since she was so nice.

Kisala beamed,
"Sure! That'd be fine," she said. She didn't really -need- the help, but it was more fun to hunt for things with someone else than it was to hunt by yourself, afterall. She stretched her arms over her head, then let them fall with the basket in hand and looked about.

"Aha!" she spotted one over by the swingset and headed in that direction.

Nataya looked at the egg, then at Carlisle. She wanted to tell him to keep his egg since he found it, but it was just so...purple. Curse the color purple; why did it have to tempt her so? "You sure?" she asked, looking at her friend and tilting her head to the side. After all, if he wanted to keep the egg, she'd understand...

Seeing that Antony was a bit distracted, the girl made her way to the swingset herself. She didn't spot any eggs at first, and settled on the set on her stomach to look about that way-- not that she really thought it'd help her find any eggs, but she liked swinging funnily on the set, and this was really about having fun anyhow.

She'd only been swinging a couple minutes-- thinking about when she met August on the swingset and taught him what swinging was like-- when she spotted an egg over by the merry-go-round and let herself tumble over onto the grass in front of the swing she'd be lying on, got up, dusted herself off, and headed that direction instead.

It was a pretty egg, she decided. Bright yellow. The first one she'd collected had been blue, which was pretty too, but she liked yellow better, and green. She figured green eggs would be pretty tough to find on a playground, though, what with the grass being green. Perhaps she could look for them specifically! The littler kids probably couldn't find any of those!
