I guess I'd have to say boy. I'm more used to playing as one and it feels natural to me even though I'm a girl. But then again I don't really play as a girl in the HM games.
When I first played AnWL, it felt weird playing as a girl since I was soo used to playing as a guy in AWL. It didn't help either since the guys weren't that much amazing. In the end though, I married Marlin after getting to know him so now I love him ^_^ But yeah I still like AWL better. The girls are more developed and it makes it easier to choose who I want. And for me my heart belongs to Muffy. I refuse to marry anyone else that's not her. I felt the same way while play HMDS also. I know that I can marry other girls but my eyes are only on Muffy. I've tried getting other girls like Luminia or Elli but it doesn't work out. I feel like I'm cheating or something O_o
I've tried playing HMDSC but I stopped playing when I found about all the near impossible stuff we'll have to do to get married and I'm LAZY! I can't do that. I wanna get married now not in 200 years stare Plus it's weird for me to play that game too. I'm much more used to playing the guy. I have to say though, Sky is HOTT and Doctor, Cliff, Rick and Marlin just look extra sexy in the game heart
OH! I do like playing the girl in MM. That for me was awesome. I personally liked the graphics and thought it cute. The guys for that game too is VERY VERY Nice wink I ended up marry Ray and Alex in two files. And when I tried playing the boy it was just too weird. Plus I was kinda depress cause I couldn't be with Ray and/or Alex T-T
So umm yeah...I'm about to play MFOMT for the first time this Xmas cause my dad got it for me >_< In FOMT I'm married to Ann and it's my third year. I'm soo exsicted cause she's about to be my baby mama!

To me, it all depends. If the bachelors in the game are good, I'll play a girl. If they suck, I'll play a guy, because the girls are always nice and pretty.
And the thing with guys not liking to play as girls was because *science time!!* we all technically started out as girls as an egg cell with only an x chromosome, no y. And then when we were concieved, sperm either carry an x or y chromosome. Even though, if you were to be an xy zygote (or whatever) the y chomosome doesn't kick in until about 3 months (thus explains guys having nipples), so guys are all like, "Hey! I'm a guy, not a girl, even though that was what I was set up to be! Awesome!" and so they use and prove their "manliness" at any given moment.
That, or they don't want to be known as homosexual by playing a girl character and marrying guy characters.

Terra Meepers Master Domino Terra Meepers Master Domino Most of the new games coming out have the option of playing as a girl or a guy. For AWL I didn't really want to play as a girl. I didn't care for much of the bachelors in that game. The girls on the other hand seem very nice. I agree on that. >_< Although, I wish there were more bachelors and bachelorettes on both games. AND more events. I always end up skipping days. gonk More bachelors and bachelorettes would be AWESOME!! The ones they have are a little strange for my taste. Gustaf reminds me of a hermit, Rock seems a bit like a hippie, and Marlins kind of scares me sweatdrop It seems kind of strange to have only 3 bachelors and 3 bachelorettes. All the other games have more spouse options. And more events never hurt anybody 3nodding I agree. O: It doesn't look like Gustaf ever ages either. I wish I had that ability whenever I turn 30. I don't like being a teenager. o_O Rock is a little too hyperactive for me, and ... I dunno just no. And he doesn't help either. >_< Marlin scares me too, but he's I like him better than the others. X3 Still scares me though. <_< This is pretty much the only game that has the least bachelors. MM has... a lot, and in one game. And AWL probably has the most... boring events so far. Not much "activity" you can do. >_O But I luff the story and the time change out of all. I wished my kid could grow up in MM and have his own style. But nooo, he just cries. All... that... crying... D:
1.who the bachelors/bachelorettes are
2.if the girl looks like a girl, or a man in womans clothing
lol in AWL and MM i dont think the girl looks like a girl, cuz in MM she has the same body shape as the guy, and her clothes dont look very good, at all o.o and in AWL shes better, but her feet are HUGE! they shouldnt be the same size as all the guys, which makes me wonder... i feel really embarrassed standing next to muffy in AWL =P
and as for the 3 bachelors in AWL, i choose gustafa, i know he looks like a hermit/hippie, but his music is sooo pretty <3

I play as both. I play as a boy on two of my games, simply because there isn't another option XD But on Island of Happiness I play as a girl because I want Vaughn. It makes me think of Brokeback Mountain.
Sometime in the future I hope they make a HM game where you can marry the same gender. That would be amazing.

Although a majority of the HM games' main character is a boy, even when the main character is a girl i like the boy better because the love scene's are just more romantic to me. Unlike the girl who chases men, seems unattractive to me.

I heard from someone that they were going to make one where girls can marry girls but that has been unconfirmed for a long time and I haven't heard anything about guys marrying guys. I like Raguna too but if all I had to do to marry Russell was play as a girl then I'd do it in a heartbeat. I usually end up playing a guy first then a girl later since when I started playing there was no gender option. xp I actually chose to be a guy over a girl in Magical Melodies and got odd looks from my family members exclaiming that I was girl!
Nowadays I choose to be a girl more because the guys that have been made haven't been that nice looking......TOT guy is Gill in disguise. talk2hand

I play both. If i feel bored with being boy i turn to being girl. But i'm very successful on both. Both had get married and had one child with a villa. ^_^
