Karma had to pay even more attention to where he was going in the denser forest and was grateful for his companion's humming. He followed him with his ears even when he couldn't see him with his eyes. Though the moon shone above them it was getting pretty dark and Karma was no panther that could see in night as if it were day.
He stopped when Admon stopped, watching with a vague curiosity while Admon adjusted the willow branch. What was he doing? His mental question was answered when the flowers lit up around him. Karma's head raised in surprise when he realized what it was he was seeing.
"They are truly beautiful." Karma wasn't one to give false praise and he meant his words. For him, night were almost always time for either sleep or quiet contemplation. Seeing these flowers in this state... he never even would of thought of it himself.

" It is rare sight like this that still gives me hope at times." Glancing over the flowers, Admon sighed softly. Before closing his eyes once again. " So many don't know that there are flowers that bloom only by the light of the moon. So many fear what hunts in the night rather than seeing the lovely things that surround them in the glow of the moon. It all looks different one a clear night with the roundest of moons. "
Turning his head Admon motioned to the forest around them. " Nature is alive and lovely at all times it just takes an open mind to see it. " Pawing the ground Admon smiled lightly. He had dreaded bringing some one here, but now it was not so bad. Some did deserve to see such sights some would understand the wonder of flowers glowing in the moonlight. And it gave him hope, perhaps he could find love if he gave it time. Like the night blooming flower he must wait till the perfect light came though the darkness then he would glow as well.

Karma listened to his companion's words, nodding here and there in agreement. This Admon had great insight. It would be tempting to stay here longer to speak with him more, but Karma didn't let that temptation go any further. He would keep traveling until he had accomplished his goal and then perhaps would consider other options.
The light reflecting off the flowers caught in his eyes as he looked from them to Admon. "How did you discover this place?"

Blinking Admon started at Karma for a moment as if he didn't understand the question. Glancing away then the stallion released a soft sigh. " The full story is long and sad. But in short on my mothers first ever outing she met a stallion it was love at first sight for both of them and he should my mother these flowers. In the end it did not work out between them but even long after meeting my father did my mothr come to see these flowers in hopes of seeing the other stallion and being friends with him. When I was a foal I saw my mother leave in the middle of the night I followed her here. Once I was fully grow my mother stopped coming here and I started coming in her place"

Sad.. yes. Karma could see how that was sad. If he had to wait for someone for a long time who never returned to him he imagined he would be rather sad as well. At least it was a beautiful place to reflect and be sad in. He was starting to want to just stand there silently and reflect but he had one more question before he did.
He looked over at Admon, pausing for a moment to flick a stray strand of mane out of his eyes. "And do you come here to wait for your father as well?" Would he do a thing like that when it seemed to have no purpose? Karma quietly watched him and waited for the answer.

" No my father doesn't really know of this place... well I don't know if he does.... I think I come here so I can yell at the stallion that was almost my mother's mate. Maybe I do come here to see if my father knows of this place... I don't know maybe I come here just for the flowers" Shrugging lightly, Admon moved his gaze back to the flowers. " I never really think of what I do I just do it"

"I see." How could it be that so many soquili lived their lives with so little thought, yet they still had such meaning? Karma couldn't imagine doing something simply for the sake of doing it. When he did something it had a reason, even if it was as simple a one as curiosity.
"Soquili like you..." He paused for a moment and then continued. "You must lead a very free life." Yes, free is what he would call it. Free to think or not think about one's actions as one wished. Free to act on the spur of the moment. That was an impressive sort of freedom to have.
