"I am close to the center... Sort of... Very dark, how I like it." Odd stated quietly after Olohan had spoken his piece.

"I did not gain an apprentice, either... I am new at keeping, really. I do not feel ready for one..." He turned his pale eyes towards the brighter sentinel of the pair, Cloverfield.

Clover bobbed to both males. addressing Odd first this time. "Near the middle you say? I'm surprised we haven't met yet. I'm on the northern side, about a third into the deep woods. A nice stand of Firs, with extra wide branches?" It would be amusing to say the least to find she'd been someone's neighbor and never even known it!

How cute the little mus looked, so safely tucked away. If that was any sign of how Olohan would do as a minder, she had to admit he'd probably do quite well. "Have you heard of the all-male minder enclave, Olo? I know they've had a few new arrivals, but they're getting a little full up. A good friend of mine is there, I could see if they need an extra wing to help, or if they want to redirect an egg or two your way."

"I'd be feathered fantastic," Olohan exclaimed happily. Somehow he'd been touched to the quick about that. He didn't know why - just that he was. Perhaps this Minding business was ruinning his private affairs, but then again...

Again! There was that darned happy spark. It seemed to jump up at the moment when he least expected it. If only his dad could see!

Olohan was such a Disappointment, one with a capitol 'D'.

"I think I know the place... I have a large, gnarled oak near the place." Odd relied thoughtfully.

Although he could not easily see Olohan's features, his posture seemed to express that happy spark. "Such an enclave would be a lovely jumpstart for you, I do believe."

Clover nodded happily. She'd see about it as soon as she got home, send word by parus or do it herself, depending. "If I recall they have a handful of fledglings underfoot, and t least two eggs. I could even introduce you personally if you wanted. I'm sure they'd love to have you. Just don't eat Roth." The last was added almost unconsciously. One didn't hang about that enclave without memorizing that line.

"Really? That's your oak?" She thought back to the area around her home. "Ah yes...the parus are always stealing your acorns in the fall though."

Olohan nodded happily. It would be very good for him to at least look like he's working or helping. At least... thats what he told himself over and over silently.

"Olo-olo we home go?" asked a tired Mus from somewhere under the Sentinel.

"Not yet, egghead, I still have to hunt for some food. Something substantial at least," Olohan seemed to blush below his feathers, "Perhaps we shall take our leaves and continue what we were doing?" It was a rather appologetic tone he carried.

After a moment he did add, "Perhaps we can certainly meet again soon. I did like this but perhaps when Egratz is in the territory I can stay longer. You have been nice to talk to."

(( I have almost no imagination left for this. D: Sorry guys. And for some odd reason I'm quite keen for the metaplot/story-arch. You both can invade Olohan's territory, at any time. Just Pm me before hand. ^^ ))

"Worry not of it, I do not mind." The snowy sentinel told Clover with a nod. "My chirops and I are doing fine, so bit of acorns gone here and there aren't much of a bother..." He turned his blurred gaze towards Olohan and blinked silently for a moment as he listened.

"A pleasure it has been, Olohan. Perhaps we shall share words again."

OOC: Righto!

Clover nodded, suddenly catching sight of the moon's position through the tree. With alarm she realized how late she was in returning and with a squeak she began to flap and scoot about on the branch. "Oh my! Olohan, Odd, I am so sorry! I had no idea I'd been gone so long! I have a customer visiting...nearly an hour ago! I have to go, go now!" She fluttered to Olo's side then, nipping a feather into place out of habit, and then hopped to Odd, slicking back an eartuft for him. So much time caring for her parus had ingrained the need to preen others it seemed...and without another word she was off like a bolt, a flash of sunlight winging through the otherwise dark forest.

OOC: No prob! You're both quite welcome in Clover's place too! Stop by any time!
