History: Huojin was shipped to a human population where he escaped. He doesn't know what has happened to his family, or what he is going to do with himself. A lion like him was very noticeable so he is always watching his back, not wanting to be caught by the villagers he escaped from.
Along his roamins, Jin came across a water lioness that was rather lonely. She too was colored similar to him... but what caught his attention was that she was a water lioness, and he a fire lion. He never knew was drew him to her but she attracted him like no other had. Poinsettia was her name... and he would never forget that.
After sticking around for a while, Huojin finally had someone to call 'his'. Tia needed a shoulder and a strong paw, Jin offered her himself. That was all he could give... And so they became one.

History: Balthier doesn't like talking about his past. When he was still human he was a sky-pirate plain and simple. What most didn't know was that he used to be a Judge, what exactly a Judge was, he couldn't explain to people if they didn't know. He found the whole system to be corrupt so he became the one thing that was the exact opposite of what he used to be. Balthier had friends, family, love, all back where he came from. It took him quite a while after his crash landing to forget about those things.
Then he met Lulu. He couldn't help himself, he had to taunt her and tease her. The Black Mage was such a fun person to tease. In an odd way he became fond of her because she knew what it was like to be human. But she also knew what it was like to be betrayed, hurt, and abandond. Balthier finally found someone to relate to, he hoped that Lulu would be able to find someone he knew... what he didn't know was that he was the only one here. Lulu mentioned some from her world, how they had come together... but he had no one, except her. He finally had to stop taunting her and make nice or else he was going to lose the only friend he had.
For some reason or another Balthier got the grand idea to leave Lulu, trying to find someone to 'love'. Of course he was to thick-headed to see that he was already falling for Lulu. This was when he met Esmerelda, another lioness who had once been human. They talked for a while but all he could think of was Lulu and how he missed talking to her. Esmerelda, being a gypsy, noticed this right from the beginning and she urged him to return.
It was this return he wasn't looking forward to. Balthier knew Lulu would be furious and he could expect a fireball or two, but when he actually got there he found her broken hearted. He had done to her exactly what her old mate had done. Vowing to never hurt her again he stuck by her side.

History: Mirza doesn't know how he came to the Pride Lands, he doesn't remember being a cub or anything abou the lands at all but here he is a grown lion without a memory. Upon stretching his beautiful angelic wings he soared across the lands, getting an overview of his new home.
After looking quickly through some of the regions he came down into the forest and his curiousity of his memory plagued him. He racked his mind for anything at all but nothing came up. A lioness by the name of Hu-Tieh (owned by Fanta) overheard him and couldn't help but giggle at his amnesia. He forgot his memory troubles for a moment to properly greet her for he did know that greeting someone politely was something he'd never forget. As their conversation drew on and his many compliments bringing blushes to her cheeks several times he had finally remembered a woman... a woman he used to love. Her face and name had escaped him but her smell had lingered. Hu-Tieh told him that he'd find love again when the time was right and he added in that he'd have to travel the right path that led him to the woman waiting on the other piece of string that bound her to him by some force. That was what he believed in.
So he moved on in his search of his new home. His next destination was unkown but he promised he would return to Hu-Tieh to tell her about his travels. He had a feeling that if anyone could help him remember what his previous life had been like, he was sure it would be Hu-Tieh.
It wasn't long before Mirza made for the forest area again, his head spinning with memories. Finding her easily he was overjoyed to find her still curious in his problem and willing to help him remember. So he jumped into his reminiscing. He remembered Bowls, fighting for honor, and even being a member of the royal court! Each came from a different interaction with a lion or lioness. Lady Tenari chasing her spirits reminded him in a strange way of the men and women of court playing a game on the lawn, Bowls. It was a rouge lion that had offended him and sent his blood on the burner that brought on the memory of fight for honor. The feeling had been so similar. It was Lady Hu-Tieh's own honest smile of curiosity that brought on the memories of court. Those who smiled to cover the lies hid in their eyes.
To Mirza is seemed that every lion and lioness held a different part of him and he is determined to find each piece. With every meeting there is a new connection, a new memory.
After flying for what seemed an eternity, Mirza had to land, reluctantly of course. If he could fly forever, he would. On this landing he met Aingeal. She is a Lunar lioness that suffered from an overpowerful queen that was ruining hers and her father's life. But this wasn't the first meeting, Mirza continually dropped down to this place to see her, hear how she was doing... finally, unable to take being away from her, Mirza flew, with Aingeal on his back of course, to see her father. It didn't take long for Mirza to agree to let him court his daughter, but Malamis insisted on Aingeal being with Mirza... now only time will tell when Aingeal would be his forever... (See MSN rp)
