"That would make sense from what I have seen. The chaos that followed seened to consume everything." Tassen noticed her getting up, and reached out his tail to her if she wanted it to ballence on away from the bed.
"I guess I might have to visit your libraries eventually. There is so much I need to catch up on."
At least the chaos rift did not win.

"Ya, my family actually are decendants of the Twilight Sanctuary..." He looked around. "Oh, by the way, there is a library a floor down, I was in there studying..." He leaned up against the wall. "Are you really that old dragon? That was decades ago..." His questions seemed to never be answered by the girl. All that he knew was that she was close to who ever died, and was in that jar.

((sorry, I've been scatterbrained))

Illusion reached out greatful and spoke again. "I am Illusion Paramore. I was her personal knight. I wouldn't say I was close to her other than it was my duty to protect her and I failed. Now there are two who could take her place...but only one is really known of. From the fire kingdom." I'm not revealing myself as of yet... "I probobly should go to the arenas or somewhere. I have to find others to tell. Maybe even the tavern."

"The Tavern? Only Filths go there..." He wasn't saying anything bad, jsut what his dad taught him. "I'll go with after I change, can't really walk into that place with this on." He motioned to his dress-up attire. "I'll only be a minute." He go up, and turned on his heel, and walked back the way he came. The arena would be fun as well Miss Paramore...

She narrowed her eyes slightly. She knew almost every filthy soul in that tavern. More than half of them could take out many of the remaining nobles. She bit her lip to keep from letting a rude remark slip out. She bowed her head and then turned to Tassen. "I hope you'll join us, there's one you may want to speak to there. She's sorta...knows things that have already happened. She may even recognize you. I need to change as well. There is much to do in little time, and the nobles must know of this death." she moved towards the window "The skies are so much faster, don't you agree?" with that she lept out and headed towards the arena first.

Luke overheard the last bit of conversation, then watched Illusion fly away, heading south. "Not going to give it away, hm...?" he murmured, smiling thoughtfully. "I wonder what you're thinking..."

He turned and left, his duty done, for the moment. The birds had been sent to the far reaches of the continent, and within hours, the message would be known in all the countries.

With soft, deliberate steps, Lucas returned to the throne room, which seemed darker than before. The sun was moving toward the horizon, but with the open, decorative windows and the balcony, the light was streaming in uninhibited. He walked to the glorified chairs, stroking the velvet-lined arms and backs with his gloved fingertips.

"Oh, who comes now to sit beside thee... who comes here to reconcile me? Who sings forth a new beginning...? And in the end, is no one winning?"

Luke smiled at nothing in particular, tracing a loop of gold with one finger, his eyes turned icy and his hair sparking in mad glee.

"Who comes now?"

He turned and stalked out to the balcony, where he sat on the ledge and watched the stars come out.

Tassen nodded agreement before she left. He did not wish to disturb her as she had glared at the man with his comment. Bars where known to hold the worst of people, but sometimes you could find good company in a bar room.
He made his way through the window once more, and landed softly at the place he assumed would be the main gates heading to town. There, he changed to his human form, for his dragon form would certainly take up far too much attention for what they wanted to do.
In his new form, Tassen had steel colored hair, and golden eyes. He was much taller than his days in the Twilight Sanctuary. He also looked to be in his mid twenties now. His build was lean and agile, similar to his dragon form.
He waited at the gates for the man from the library. He would hopefully meet up with lady Illusion later at the tavern.

Kiro made his way down stairs, he then made it across the library, and up the battlement stairs. There was no need to worry about an attack. He liked the air outside better anyways. He got up to the window near his room, and used a burst of water to shoot him up and in. He landed in a nice, comfy room. He quickly walked over to the closet. He then got his armor that was in a niche in the back wall. "Ah, this should help me..." He put it on as fast as he could, it was considerably light, and easier to hide than most. Plus. It was a light mail, non full suit. Mostly just a breastplate, greaves, gauntlets to his fingers, and metal plates that tie around his thighs. He didn't want a helmet for his "suit" so he never got one made. He then tossed on a loose cotton shirt over it, hiding its most distinct features, plus the shine. And walked out the main entrance to his room.

When he made it to the bottom of the castle, he was near the stables. He got a horse from the Water Nation's stalls, and set out for the area of the Tavern.

Once the central star, Asper, peeked out from the night's veil, Luke had had plenty of time to mull things over. Near as he could tell, the queen had gone, and wasn't coming back. Either it was murder, suicide, or pseudocide, and whichever it was, the kingdom would need some kind of replacement until this event could be explained.

He stood up and stepped lightly off the balcony, feeling his boots grip the air. He smiled, the way he always did when he airwalked; the way he did when he got a reminder of why he loved magic. It was a lot like good music, really. Always beautiful, always pure, no matter what its use.

A whisper seemed to come over the wind now, with fragments that seemed to say, "...Queen....dead....heir!" and nothing more. He cocked his head toward the stadium, wondering if the silly knight had done something foolish again. It wouldn't do to induce mass panic... even if you were a princess. Electric shivers sprung up on his back, and he worried about what the future might hold.

"Zherlthsh..." he muttered, and flicked a sign back over his hands as he headed down to the tavern.

Tassen saw the horse and rider go by, on their way to the tavern it would appear. He had hoped they would travel together, but he could always follow from above. He could find this tavern with time.

He changed his form once again, and took to the slowly darkening skies. His natural internal light shinning like a beacon in the sky. His eyes caught the lone rider that he could now tell really was that person he met in the castle. He flew in the sky, following the man and horse with his eyes.

Violet had reached the castle, the only empty place since the queen's death. She knew it was probably not smart to hang around here very long, but it was nice to have a quiet place away from everyone, and staying in the last place anyone would think to look for her was probably best. She roamed the open halls as quietly as possible making her way toward the stairs. She slowly, and cautiously made her was up the stairs to the library, her favorite place of all. She loved books, even looking at one made her happy. When she finally reached it she stepped inside and let her mind wander looking at the large expanse of collected stories.

After a while, Amaya left the arena and headed toward the castle, hoping that Illusion would let her inside. Hopefully there wouldn't be many people there.

Illusion shook her head, trying to dislodge the disturbing thoughts that crowded her already exhausted mind. It was almost night. They had broken up from the tavern and she was pretty sure that at least a few of them were coming with her to find the records. With more effort than it should have required she picked herself up with the feathers on her back she made her way to the library. Someone was already in there, she heard them flipping through the pages of a book. She peeked her head inside and saw Violet, the other princess of the realm. Fire assassin. Escape'. She quickly stepped inside and blocked the doorway. "Hey run-away. Heard about this morning yet?" She had nothing against Violet personally. But the ashes and then their disapearance was still disconcerting when fire was next in line.

Amaya pushed open the castle doors, surprisingly unlocked, and headed toward the library. As she made her way there she heard Illusion say something and dashed down the hall.
"Illu -" She stopped as she looked inside to see another girl whom she'd never seen before, "What's going on...?"

"This would be the princess of the fire kingdom. And since she has a known habit for running away. Do me a favor and guard the window while I take the door." She let Amaya inside and once she was she shut the door and bolted it. Violet was no fool, or so Illusion hoped. The castle was made out of stone. The only things that could burn for her benifit would be the door. And Illusion knew she could suck all the oxygen out of the room if she had to. She also knew it was a very long way down from the window. Hopefully Violet wouldn't try to run.
