Kibaxx oh yeah i know they will they woulf be stupid not to but i just wanted you to know what i thought about it and to say that i could not find the line you were thinking of when you posted your comment Another thread on NIS's forum (which is where I found the link), someone had asked NIS if they were going to release a U.S. version of Ar tonelico II, and they answered with a smile. Unless they're evil, which I highly doubt, it probably means they have every intent. ^_^

Palsa-San The indication I got from reading the Kawachi's final comment in this article: http://heiseidemocracy.com/2007/10/28/bishoujo-game-news-more-on-ar-tonelico-2/ Is that they will not only release the sequel here, but also plan on making an entire series out of it. ^_^ I am sure there is going to be a third game. The series is very popular both in Japan and in the US, so there is plenty of demand. Plus, we still have one member of the Trio of Elemia to meet!

this is true nis has a very and i mean very small fan base so it would not be in there best interest not to localize a game that everyone wants that could cause a bad situation for nis, not to mention all the hints they have given, the rpgland report that says a worker for gust says that nis has the rights to publish it in america, and they said that they were going to make some announcements at the anime expo so hopefully they will announce it there, but we still dont know how long they have been working on it. i for one think that they started before it came out in japan so post some opinions and i really do think that they will announce it over the summer

For a avid fan's perspective, it'd be great news if announced during the summer though I'm willing to wait a bit longer if it were the case. Waiting any longer doesn't seem to be a best case scenario since the PS2 does not necessarily receive as much as it used to (I love it to bits still, by the way).
I guess we'll have to wait for further news then~
And hearing any hints of a 3rd installment makes me really happy. <3

I have a feeling that it will be announced during the anime expo because nisa is not attending E3 this year. So they should make any gaming announcements there. For anyone who does not know E3 is a huge gaming convention that has lost a lot of publicity over the years so more and more smaller companies stoped attending. E3 is always the place for companies to show off their summer/fall/winter schedule so nisa should make any announcements and the anime expo for the publicity since they can not attend E3 this year

I don't really pay much attention to E3's.
They put far to much focus on the fallowing types of games:
Extreme violence, high graphics no plot, over promoted by big name companies, sports games.
It had a thing where you choose the top 40 best sound tracks of the year.
They didn't even include games such as Ar tonelico.
The only games I can remember seeing in this E3 that I'm interested in is Soul Caliber 4, Tales of Vesperia and Persona 4.

hey guys in 4 months Ar tonelico 2 will have been out in japan for a year, and since nisa likes to announce games 3 to 4 months before they come out i can see it being announced very soon xd

Well, my guess is that the game will most likely be released in either November or December, just in time for Christmas.
So keep an eye out for anything relating to game announcements, especially within the upcoming month.
I have a feeling that NISA will announce it before or by August.

Ar tonelico II also is getting a "best of" re-release so the popularity of japan is also a good sign of an american release
