heres another one they say at my h.s. sometimes - its one of my favorites:
(not sure where it came from tho)

dear lord, i have no idea where i am going. i do not see the road ahead of me. i cannot know for certain where it will end. nor do i really know myself, and the fact that i think i am doing your will does not mean that i am actually doing so. but i believe that the desire to please you does, in fact, please you. and i hope i have that desire in all that i am doing. i hope that i will never do anything apart from that desire. and i know that if i do this you will lead me by the right road though i may know nothing about it. therefore i trust you always though i may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. i will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone. amen.

The Sign of the Cross
Il Segno della Croce

Nel nome del Padre, del Figlio e dello Spirito Santo. Amen.
This a Italian/Catholic Prayer.

I like hearing it in english too.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Saint Spirit. Amen

ok.....one more sweatdrop

The Serenity Prayer

Lord,
Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
And wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.

Amen.

Because I like it.
From my Missal (bonus Liturgical Calendar for 1948-55 included):

An Act Of Confidence.

Behold!
I am in possession of the Sovereign Good. The first thought, O God! with which Thy presence inspires me, is a sentiment of adoration and respect. Yes, under these sacred veils, where Thy love for me hath concealed the splendour of Thy Majesty, I most humbly adore Thee. I acknowledge Thee as my Master, my Creator, and the Supreme Arbiter of my eternal destiny. But these thoughts are absorbed in the greatness of my confidence. Thou art glorious in heaven, all powerful on earth, and terrible in hell; but in the Blessed Eucharist Thou art mild, consoling, sweet, and liberal.
Ah, what canst Thou refuse me, when Thou hast given me Thyself?

Now that is a hell of a way to word a prayer.
And sorry about the language, but it kinda adds to the Mysterious Catholic Church thing that's going on.
I heart my Missal.

This is one of the ones I've memorized:

Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul, I adore you.
Lighten my family. Guide us stregnthen us, consol us,
Tell us what we should do, Give us your order.
We promise to submit to all that you desire of us
and to accept what you permit to happen to us.
Let us onlu know your will. Amen

uhm, I don't have a prayer to post, but am asking for one to say before meals (other than just "Our Father, Hail Mary, thank you for the food."...which is what I say).

Without Thy presence, nought, O Lord, is sweet,
No pleasure to our lips can aught supply.
Whether 'tis wine we drink or food we eat,
Till Grace divine and Faith shall sanctify.
(Amen.)

From here.

Alright, I have 3...
St. Francis Xavier Cabrini's(My confirmation Saint) Prayer:
Almighty and eternal Father,
Giver of all Gifts, show us
Thy mercy, and grant, we
beseech Thee, through the
merits of Thy faithful Servant,
Saint Frances, that all who
invoke her intercession
may obtain what they desire
according to the good
pleasure of Thy Holy Will.
(Here name your request)

St. Frances Xavier Cabrini,
beloved spouse of the
Sacred Heart of Jesus,,
intercede for us that the favor
we now ask may be granted.
Amen.

Prayer for Vocations-We say this every Sunday at the end of mass:
Oh Jesus, our Eternal Pastor,
Deign to look with merciful eyes,
upon this part of Your loving flock.
Lord, we need a large number of priests,
and men and women consecrated in the religious life.
Multiply vocations, and sanctify more and more our priests,
and those consecrated in the religious life.
We ask You all this through the Immaculate Virgin Mary of Guandalupe,
Your sweet and Holy Mother.
Jesus, give us priests, according to Your Heart.
Jesus, Savior of Mankind, Save them, Save them.
Amen.

Bless Us, Oh Lord-This is another before meals prayer:
Bless us, Oh Lord,
For these, Thy gifts,
Which we are about to recieve,
through Thy bounty,
and Christ, Our Lord.
Amen.

Lately, a lot of people I know have been getting cancer, including one of my good friends from high school. I figured that other people might be dealing with this too, so here are some prayers for cancer victims.
(they're prayers to St Peregrine, who's the patron saint of cancer victims)

Novena To
St. Peregrine

Glorious wonder-worker, St. Peregrine, you answered the divine call with a ready spirit, and forsook all the comforts of a life of ease and all the empty honors of the world to dedicate yourself to God in the Order of His holy Mother.
You labored manfully for the salvation of souls. In union with Jesus crucified, you endured painful sufferings with such patience as to deserve to be healed miraculously of an incurable cancer in your leg by a touch of His divine hand.
Obtain for me the grace to answer every call of God and to fulfill His will in all the events of life. Enkindle in my heart a consuming zeal for the salvation of all men.
Deliver me from the infirmities that afflict my body (especially.....).
Obtain for me also a perfect resignation to the sufferings it may please God to send me, so that, imitating our crucified Savior and His sorrowful Mother, I may merit eternal glory in heaven.
St. Peregrine, pray for me and for all who invoke your aid.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying)
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.

(prayers found here.)

One of My Favorite Prayers:

Angel of God,
my Guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day be at my side
To light and guard,
to rule and guide.

Amen.

Prayer Before Meals:

Bless us,
O Lord, and these Thy gifts,
which we are about to receive from Thy bounty.
Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

A prayer about abortion (we say it in school):

Jesus Mary and Joseph I love you very much
I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby
Which I've spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion
