Ray laughed as Amnity began to list possible interferences for the police. there were all very characteristic of her. Calming down, he replied "Sorry, not this time. An explosion or heavy artillery would be doing the police a favor, by quickly scattering the crowd. Perhaps we can have you do something dynamic elsewhere and distract a few officers from the main event. Then the outnumbered cops would be more likely to do something... heinous. Nothing to big, I'll look into that a little more shortly, but I don't think we're gonna need C4 or an AK-47, no doubt you were thinking of a bigger gun to use though. Just remember, we need to keep violence coming from US down. If the public has a negative opinion of us, we'll be making our goal much harder to reach. If we're feared, we have less support, and it'll be easier from the mayor to convince the citizens to give up some freedoms to catch us. We'd also be defeating the purpose of our 'group'. Still, I'll try to make some accommodations for you, you know me, I use every resource we have." Leaning back, he sighed and relaxed a little bit, still listening for the others to speak up, not that he wouldn't be able to hear them if he weren't.

Carys gave a gentle, but firm warning glance to Amnity and turned to Ray, who was an old friend. "Good to see you again. Sounds like you've been busy." She wrapped one arm around his shoulders in a brief but friendly hug and then leaned back in her seat. "I haven't heard much from Aki lately, but that probably just means she's been busy gathering information." She raised an eyebrow at the news of the protest and Amnity's ideas. "Um, let's not get carried away. But I will be happy to lend a hand."

"Guns are so..." Terra said, trying to think of the right word, "Overrated ." She finished. Neither Terra nor Aiva liked guns, but they did carry them. They didn’t see the point in using one when they could just as easily kill someone with a scythe. "I agree with Ray. As much as I would love blowing people to bits, I think we should be a bit more subtle than out right attacking the police. I think we should try to create a diversion before the riot, so most of the cops are there. If needed I can summon a few shadow demons and make them rob a bank, or something." Aiva said, ignoring her sister's comment. "I also havn't seen Aki recently." She added.

He returned Carys's greeting with a smile, and then proceeded to reply. "I can only wait to hear what she's learned when she shows up. Unfortunately, I doubt we'll be able to meet her here, since that would give her away. We should probably make arrangements for it soon, but we'll worry about that later. Back to the park protest, it seems a group of people are a little displeased with a law that makes importing, exporting, and overall selling of any sort of good a tad bit harder. The inspections are slowing sales down, and they're pissed off! And just like when any group of angry people get together and agree with each other, they'll only fuel one another's rage. There are a few merchants in particular, mostly people selling in basic booths, who are prone to taking things a little too far. Since I've made sure to bring the protest to the attention of as many of the anger-problem shopkeepers, I expect a good outcome."

Looking at Aiva, he nodded and said "It seems like a sound plan. I've got some ideas for what we do during the protest as well.". He pulled a map from a basket sitting near the corner of the room, and put it on the table. Only the area around the park was open, and he began to point to it and explain "The park was chosen because it is surrounded by a market district. It'll attract the attention of people shopping, hopefully giving them explanation as to why shopping is a little harder now, and also to gather everyone who works in the marketing district. The nearest police station is located about ten minutes from it, to the north of the park. Now, we'll need need one or two people to join in and keep a close eye on what the police do. One or two others will be watching from the outside. The group inside the protest will have to try and pep the crowd up, and try to work the watching police units' nerves. The group watching from the outside can also give them a hard time, if possible. So, anyone have preference on what part they play?"

Miri found her way into the shop, though the sight of a ten-year-old wasn't very suprising to some. She slid into the seat beside Carys. "Aki can't come, but wants to. She's in one of Her meetings, and'll get away as soon as she can, and has been busy" she said quietly, 'Her' being the Mayor. "And do you want me to get messages back and forth between the groups?" she asked in reference to the plan, looking to Ray.

"I would rather be on the outside, and I think Terra would be best on the inside; she's great at getting on people's nerves." Aiva said smirking at her sister. Terra made a face, but she didn’t object. “So if I’m on the inside does that mean I can’t attack the policemen?” Terra asked, “I know we shouldn’t attack them so it looks like it’s their fault, but can I fight back?” Aiva was about to answer her sisters question when the little girl spoke. So that’s where Aki is. Aiva would never act as a double agent; they always seemed to wind up hurt, or dead.

Ray nodded his head at Miri, then said to her "Ah, that's good to hear. Thanks for telling us. Yes, that would be perfect. You can watch from the outside and repay messages with your telepathy. If it gets rough, we don't want you in harm's way, and you'll be doing a great deal of help. Perhaps you can antagonize some cops with it as well?". Turning to Terra he replied "If the police go all out and attack, you can retaliate, but try not to go too far, go on the defensive. Remember, we'll try to cover eachother if it happens. So, as for who goes where, Terra and I will take the inside of the protest. On the outside we'll have Miri, and Aiva. That means Amnity and Carys can go where they please. I think Amnity should take the outside, since you have the ability to assist from afar if anything happens. I'll let the two of you decide on your own though."

Miri nodded, letting her gaze drift to the table. She zoned out, slumping against the back of the chair as she stared blankly down at her lap, caught in one of her visions.

Smoke was thick in the air, making it hard to see and burning her eyes and throat. The fire was everywhere, trapping people in buildings and burning them alive. Screams filled the air, full of pain and terror. She looked around, seeing the flames reaching for the sky. She was in the market, or what was left of it, and the only place free of fire was the center of the square. She started to run, heading for the area with clear air. She froze in her tracks, watching the guards cut down the people who tried to approach. In the center was a hangman's noose hanging from a tree, the person to die holding onto the branch, trying to keep from falling and being killed. She couldn't see who, they were too far away and their back was to her. She sent her mind out to theirs and was repelled, though one thought was audible to her. "I'm sorry..." Miri moved forward, darting between to guards and running up the hill to the tree. She was close, about to reach the person when something sharp pressed through her back, the tip of an arrow errupting from her stomach as the pain sent her to her knees.

Miri gasped, coming back to herself as she tried to slow her breathing, suddenly fast. It was as though she had held her breath for a long time, and only now could take a breath. A hand went to her stomach, assuring herself there was no arrow. The pain slowly faded when the air no longer smelled of smoke and her eyes didn't sting from smoke. They had never been that vivid, and the effects never lasted like this...

Amnity gave him a quick salute before getting up from her seat. She came near the window and began examining the area with her hawk like eyesight. Those guys can talk about the strategy...She wasn't much of a strategist anyway, the only real talent she has is to search and destroy. Those words were ordered around so many times in her past that it was practically imprinted into her skull. If Ray or Carys gave her an order then it was almost instinctive that she does it, and does it correctly. But Ray gave her the freedom to do whatever....What should she do?...She almost never got her freedom before..

Ray had easily noticed Miri's panic. Hearing her gasp, then change of breathing. He watched her for a moment, and when she seemed to be back to normal, he only waited for a moment before he signaled to the staff of the little café. A young girl placed a cup of ice water in front of Ray. He thanked her, then slid it to Miri, and asked "You alright? You don't look to good. If you don't feel up to it, I'd rather you sit this out then to have you get sick or get hurt during the mission. I mean that, just say the word, I won't hold it against you.". The concern in his voice came through loud and clear, it was genuine.

"No, it's what I saw. The market was on fire, and burning down. But none of them did anything, they were too busy keeping everyone away from the center, where the hanging... But I don't know who it was, I couldn't get close enough. But, I've never had one that vivid..." Miri explained quietly, trailing off as she looked up to him.

Kairina closed her eyes as Valeda let out her information. She quietly listened taking in every word, though it looked like she wasn't paying attention. She did realize that some people were watching her, she could feel the disapprovement coming from them. Kairina let out the smallest sigh that would be hard for even someone sitting next to her to hear. Getting them out of her mind she opened her eyes and stared down at the table. The information helped her as thoughts buzzed through her head.

Ray listened closely, and when she was done, contemplated her words with a look of concern. He placed his clenched fist in front of his face, and rested it on his cheek. After a little bit of silence, he spoke "How unusual. The scene is hard to believe, that much is true, I wouldn't expect the police to go so far to kill a single person as to ignore a burning city, but this may be a warning that shouldn't go unheeded. I'm unfamiliar with your visions though, when you said you've never had a vision so vivid, you mean to say you've had this happen before? Could you perhaps tell me a little more about the past ones?".

Miri nodded. "They don't always come true, only hinting at what could be. And, it could be something that happened already, a long time ago. But, I don't know when this will be. All I know is what I saw. Normally, I only see, But this time I was there, in it. I could feel it, and smell it. But, it lasted to here. I came back and could still smell smoke, and feel the arrow." she said, trying to explain. It wasnt' easy to do, as none of her premonitions were the same, and they didn't always come true. "It was two, just one after the other." she said after a second, having just realized it.
