Jamie laughed, and gave Nori the briefest of hugs. "That would be awesome." He could see through Nori's lie, he had enough bad days, depression, in his time to know when someone was hiding. But he didn't want to press. He hoped Nori would talk to him on his own, but after being gone so long, he wondered if they had that kind of a relationship at all. He wanted it, very much, too much, but there were a lot of things Jamie wanted, a lot of them involving Nori, that Jamie wanted and couldn't get. Or wouldn't go after.

 Kyrin smiled in return to Nori when the boys smiled at her and then studied the exchange between them. She had always seen an interest between Nori and Jamie and even she couldn’t miss the pink that tinted Nori’s cheeks. It made her smile a little less sad. Kyrin wanted to ask Nori what was wrong right then, but the time wasn’t right and she didn’t want to ruin their happy reunion. Kyrin smiled even more at Nori’s hopefulness that Jamie would stay for dinner and looked at him as well, hoping that he would in fact be staying with them a good while. If his father was still looking for him, and wanted him back, he was going to have to go through Kyrin to get him. Ky didn’t like the idea of Jamie being forced into something against his will. When Jamie hugged Nori again, it confirmed in Kyrin’s head that Jamie had a fondness of Nori that perhaps extended more then just caring for the boy. She mulled it over in her head. They could be good for one another. Nori could brighten Jamie’s life and Jamie could help Nori out of his shyness. Kyrin smiled internally, They would be like Yin and Yang. Hoping to not be interrupting, Kyrin turned to Nori, ”What are we making for dinner tonight?” Since they had come to the new city, Kyrin had began to help with the dinner preparations. Having Nori teach her to cook was fun although sometimes she thought herself hopeless when she messed up on a dish. Helping with dinner was like Kyrin’s relaxing time, it was the time of the day where if Jaydn wanted her to do something it had better be an emergency.

 Nori was pleased with both of their responses. "Great!"
Although earlier, all Nori had wanted to do was shut himself up his room, now that he was with his friends he felt completely different. It was being around people that he liked that made him feel better, not solitude. He responded to Kyrin's question with a smile. "Actually, I was thinking about japanese curry." Lately, he liked having her in the kitchen with him. Ever since her change, Ky reminded him more and more of his sister Fritzi.
Nori pushed up the sleeves of his off-the-shoulder longsleeve shirt, and took two hairclips out of the pockets of his skinny jeans to put back his bangs. "Okay! Let's start!" He eagerly grasped Kyrins hand and started tugging her along to the kitchen. He smiled back at Jamie, indicating that he could follow.
 Miles hadn't seen it himself, but he heard his men whispering about newcomers. In an exceptionally large building surrounded and guarded by leagues of apprehensive people, news traveled fast. He had already been informed of the twins coming, but apparently she had also walked in with another. Miles made it a point that it was probably just a friend of Kyrin's, but his suspicious nature led him wondering why she would bring someone to headquaters unless she intended on having that person join their ranks as well. Folding up his finished newspaper, Miles made his way downstairs, to see if he could catch a glance of Jaydn talking with the twins. He was curious as to whether these newcomers were people he himself could find worhty.

Jamie did follow. Unless he was given explicit instructions, he was completely worthless in the kitchen, but maybe he could sit and watch. Or perhaps they would give him something to do, make him a little less worthless. He definitely wanted to help, cooking just wasn't his strong suit. Nori seemed happier than he had when he woke, but Jamie was still concerned. It wasn't a topic he wanted to bring up, just like where he had been these last few months.
Levi watched the twins with interest. He always had a fascination with twins, the way they communicated, similarities, everything. They were slightly more interesting than the firearms. He looked up at Maddox from his seat on the floor, and smiled. "Afternoon, Maddox." He never had held anything against Maddox, actually, he thought the kid was cool, good in his book. But, ultimately, not as interesting as the new people.

  When faced with the question of his brother, Maddox hesitated in his response. Quite honestly, Maddox had no idea if Jaydn would be in his office at the moment. The mafia prince had left hours earlier, stating to Maddox that the building was stifling so he was going to explore the city more. At the time, Maddox had made no move to stop Jaydn but had he had known that new potential members would have been stopping by, the younger Matsui brother would at least have suggested to Jaydn to stay. When Maddox had received Kyrin’s call, he had given Jaydn’s cell phone a call only to be redirected to voicemail. Perhaps by now Jaydn had listened to his message?
“I’m sorry but not yet.” Maddox gave a small bow of apology to the twins. Acting a host, he offered, “Would you like a drink while we wait?”
Pulling into a space, the red motorcycle growled momentarily before the turn of a key silenced it. Stepping off the bike, Jaydn lifted the red helmet off of his head, shaking his hair out slightly. He disliked the state the helmet would put his hair in but he didn’t want to cut his hair nor could he ride about with a helmet so he tolerated it. Hanging his helmet on the handle of his bike and shoving his keys into his dark jean’s back pocket, he made his way towards an elevator.
Waiting as one came down to fetch him, Jaydn went over in his head what he had skimmed from the files Kyrin had left him. So the Flynn brothers had come to see him and he had to admit that he was interested in them. He hadn’t picked up his phone when it vibrated earlier, having not felt it. He had been preoccupied with roaming the streets of the city. After listening to Maddox’s message however, he made his way back, curious as to what awaited his return. The elevator ding interrupted his thoughts. Doors opening, Jaydn gave a nod of acknowledgement to the men that exited the travel box, probably on their way to their shifts at the many bars and shops that they had acquired so far. He rode the elevator up to the ground floor.
When the doors opened once more to the bustling activity of the main floor, Jaydn saw that Miles seemed as if he had just arrived on the level as well. Wonder if he has met with the twin at all. Or if that’s what he’s planning on now. Miles seemed to be looking over at a group by the front and it would be natural for Miles to want to know who he may have to work with in the future. Jaydn walked up to Miles, standing next to him as he spoke, also watching the group by the door, “Curious Miles?” Looking at the group, Jaydn found it interesting that while Maddox, Charles, and Levi were all with the two tall men with darker hair, who Jaydn presumed were the twins, Kyrin, who supposedly brought them here, was not.

Miles glanced sideways to Jaydn as he approached and grinned. Jaydn was the closest thing to an 'equal' that Miles had come across in his life.
"Naturally." he replied.
Miles liked to know what was going on within the mafia and outside it as much as possible at all times. "I'd like to meet them as well. I thought there was another, but ..." He let it hang in the air for a moment before adding, "Anyways, best not to keep them waiting much longer."
Miles had half a mind to follow Jaydn to the group to meet them, but everything seemed to be under control. He might go just to be an observer.

Nori made his way to the kitchen, and was glad to see it unoccupied. He had Kyrin wash the rice and put it in the cooker while Jamie didn't have to do much, but he could cut the vegetables if he wanted. It was a realtively easy dish to make, so most of the time in the kitchen could consist of small talk.
"So Ky, you just got back recently right? Whatcha' been this morning- still recruiting?" He asked with a playful smile.
Nori figured it had something to do with all the people that she and Miles had been scouting out for as additional mafia member. He had wondered when new people would actually start joining- it had been a while. He also wanted to know where Jamie had been after all this time, but it might be a question he didn't want to know the answer to, so he decided to wonder about that some other time.

Jamie did end up cutting vegetables for Nori, the mindless, menial task letting his mind wander to other things, wondering what had made Nori upset, and if there was anything he could do to help. He didn't want Nori to have to be upset for anything, if he had any say in the matter. He was quiet through the small talk, he didn't know who the newcomers were, and he didn't mind. He liked listening to their banter. When he was finished, he sat at the table in the kitchen, and watched Nori and Kyrin cooking, still thinking, now about the place he had left behind, all the places he had left behind.

Kyrin swished the water around the rice, cleaning it thoroughly. Looking over at Nori, she listened to his questions. ”Yeah, just a little while ago.” She said as she ran more water into the bowl she was cleaning in. Turning it off she said, ”Had a meeting with Jaydn, then went down to the bars.” She drained the water only to fill it again with some that was fresh. ”Do you remember the Flynn brothers I told you about?” She waited for confirmation that Nori knew who she was talking about, before continuing, ”Well, they are downstairs with Charles and Levi right now. They are waiting on Jaydn.” She paused momentarily, ”I do hope he gets there soon.” She muttered, more to herself then to either of them. Thinking for a moment, she watched Jamie cut the veggies. ”I think they would be a good addition. They know this city well and are liked here from what I can see. They don’t seem like they will bring enemies to us. Likable people really. From what my people have told me, Caiden is the talkative one, and Riley seems to only talk when he thinks Caiden has forgotten to mention something. Riley is less social from what I have seen personally as well.” Kyrin looked over at the two of them, ”They are a bit older, but I think you guys would like them.”

"They do seem like good people," Jamie had sat himself at the kitchen table by this point, the vegetables freshly cut and cleaned on the cutting board. "Then again, I've never really known you to be a bad judge of character." Jamie smiled. He knew Kyrin was a fairly good judge of people, never had he been around a group that treated him as well as hers. "Still, my offer stands, if you need any help, with anything at all, I'd like to be able to earn my keep, if you're still willing to put up with my company. Nori, you too, if you need some help, just ask." He smiled, hoping they would accept, and let him stay.

Jaydn gave a nod. Pulling his gaze away from the group surrounding the twins, Jaydn said, "If you wouldn't mind, Miles, let the Flynn brothers know I'll have them in my office on the second floor in ten minutes." Jaydn had two separate offices within the building, one located on the second floor, what he calls his 'public office', and another on the 12th floor. His 12th floor office was where he actually conducting his meetings, keeping his files and other important documents within his room rather than his easily accessible public office. Pausing for a moment, Jaydn seemed to think over something before adding, "You're welcomed to join us."
Jaydn then made his way back towards the elevator, considering what Miles had said. 'Another'? Is there really now? And if so, who are they and why aren't they around? As the elevator doors opened up once again to him, Jaydn entered to stand about with the other 6-7 people already occupying the space. Realizing that the only person who would know the answers to these questions were his cousin, Jaydn pulled out his phone, speed dialing Kyrin.

Kyrin smiled when Jamie paid her a compliment. She finished cleaning the rice and set it to start cooking before looking over to Jamie, “I am grateful for your offer.” Even though Jamie didn’t much like to mafia line of work, she knew that he was still well enough versed in mafia business and knew how to wield a gun. She was curious as to why he would be in this mafia and not his own, but concluded that he had friends here, or perhaps it was that he was trying to get away from his father. The thought of Jamie’s father, a man of such power, made Kyrin cold for a moment, but she shook it off. She knew he and his mafia were a force to be reckoned with, but she also figured that they would not find Jamie where he was now and that if they indeed did, Han would intervene since they were still a part of his mafia. Speaking to Jamie she said, ”You are welcome here if you like to stay. Your skills could be useful to us.” She smiled. She was glad that he was back and hoped that he would be around for a long time.
A soft melody emitted from Kyrin’s pocket and she looked momentarily at the cover to see that it was Jaydn who was calling, What does he want? She thought. She picked it up, ”Can I help you?”
"So how many people did you bring back with you? And why aren't you with the Flynn brothers?"
Kyrin rolled her eyes and leaned against the counter, "I brought back the Flynn brothers and I left them in Charles and Levi's capable hands because you weren't around and I didn't feel like babysitting. Besides that's not my job."
"Right, your job is to leave your work for other people to finish up for you."
"Does this conversation have actual meaning or are you calling just to insult me. Because if its the latter then I am hanging up now."
"If I wanted to just insult you, it would have been far more entertaining for me to actually see you. So you've brought back no one else?"
Thinking for a moment Kyrin realized he must have meant Jamie. In her eyes she didn't 'bring back' Jamie, because if he wanted to be with them then he was welcome to be as he was part of them. Her tone became that of slight irritation as she said, "And Jamie." Forgetting herself, she had spoken this bit in English.
"Who?"
"James Corleone."
“What?!" A pause. "I thought he went back to his own goddamn mafia."
"What are you talking about?" Kyrin bristled at Jaydn's choice at words and her tone got dangerous as she said, "There is no problem with him being here."
"Are you trying to start a war?"
"I am doing no such thing!"
“His father wants him, we suffered the company of the man sent to retrieve him, and he's still staying with us? We should not interfere with their problems. We can't house him."
Kyrin fell silent for a long while on her end before saying, "This is not a conversation for this time. Go do your job. Goodbye." And with that she closed her phone, trying desperately to control her temper. She knew that if she talked to him while she was beginning to lose her cool, her arguement would not be as strong as it would otherwise, so she chose to end the conversation before it got to that point. She knew that Jaydn was probably fuming over this, but it was how it would have to be. She knew they would talk about it later and knew she should go in as well informed as possible. Moving from the counter, she went to sit next to Jamie. "Are we going to be in danger from your father's mafia here if you stay?" She in no way wanted him to think that she didn't want him around, because she did, she wanted him to stay with all her heart, but she had to know that his motives were pure and that she could inform Jaydn that he would not be a problem. Kyrin knew Jamie would add to their mafia, Jaydn needed convincing.

"Honestly, I don't know. My father could have had me declared dead, he could still be looking to bring me back. If he sends his men, though, I'll leave. Willingly, eagerly, even. I don't want to bring his mess here." Jamie hoped for the latter, to save them a mess, and to keep him somewhere he liked to be. And the last thing he wanted was to bring Nori into all this. He knew Kyrin and her men could deal with anything that got thrown their way, but Nori was an outsider to this way of life, at least by his understanding, and he cared about the boy. Mafia life wasn't one to live, Kyrin was by far the exception rather than the rule in the way she cared for her people. Jamie had deep and personal evidence of this.

Miles nodded to Jaydn's request. He waited for him to leave before adjusting his glasses and approaching the group. The twins seemed to be looking around, either curious or bored, while... is Maddox seriously taking drink orders? He tried not to sigh as he walked up.
" Good Afternoon." He threw on his state-of-the-art smile, with every intention of being mildly friendly, but still demanding a certain level of respect. " Jaydn wanted to let the both of you know that he'd like to see you in his second floor office. He'll be available in ten minutes, although you can probably go now. " He looked at his would-be future collegues. For twins, he was surprised by how different they seemed to be. They had the same face, but they each seemed to give off an air of individuality. He held out his hand "I'm Miles Morozov."

 Caiden recognized the smell of cigarettes before Miles even got into the circle of people and it drew his attention from Maddox and his want to give them something to drink. This scent made him look. His hazel eyes settled on Miles. Caiden wasn’t all too fond of the new man’s smile, but the air of confidence that swirled about him made Caiden curious. With the “Good Afternoon”, Caiden almost believed this to Jaydn, but when he mentioned that Jaydn would be available soon, he realized otherwise. Caiden nodded a hello and introduced he and his brother once more, ”Caiden Flynn.” He shook Miles’ hand, ”And Riley.” He said, gesturing to his brother. Running his hand through his reddish brown hair he said, ”So we can go up now then?” He was getting a little restless waiting for this Jaydn while meeting all sorts of his men, and this was his indiscreet cue to be led to where they needed to go.
Riley watched Miles walk up as he had Maddox. The man that he was just talking with… He wondered, Is he Jaydn? He had noticed Miles by the elevator because he was the only one that had come out of it that didn’t immediately continue to another destination. When the tall Asian man exited another elevator and talked to him, it caught Riley’s attention. Riley was always more observant then Caiden, but they worked well together for this fact. Riley nodded when addressed but again did not shake hands. He looked Miles over; confident, egotistic, and borderline cocky. Riley smiled at Miles, apparently this new man was someone who knew what he wanted and wanted it done. Riley touched Caiden’s arm and nodded, and the two stood looking expectant.
