Signal looks from the flowers to the bird, twitching an ear. "Is the bird itself pretty, or the chirping? Or is it both?" He glances at Shai for a moment and nods. "It is pleasant though I'll agree."

Shai tilts his head and blinks for a moment. "Umm.. both! It's just all around wonderful, I think." He nods, then beams. "What other things do you like to look at?"

Signal gives a small shrug. "It was a small one. I like watching big rivers go by, or lakes that barely have any ripples on them. Waterfalls splash too much for me."

"Oh... well! Let's go find a lake then!" His tail wagged excitedly as he looked around. squinting a bit. "The spring should connect to a larger river or lake sooner or later!"

Signal flicks his short tail, watching him. "That sounds.. nice. Follow the stream.. upstream to get there?"

"Yeah!" He beams, his horn twinkling spasticly. "Come on, let's go! It'll be great!" He turns and starts running back towards the waterfall stream, almost bounding left and right as he walks... In a weird kind of skipping motion.

Signal blinks, hurrying behind him. He watches the funny way Shai runs, almost tilting his head to the side before stopping himself. That's what always got him to trip on his hair.
