they are all best at what they do...its only true......my favourite has to be john i mean i play guitar and its obvious i would cooose him but he produces and writes alot of the songs...... he is an awsome song writer but i think he has been out speeded..... by...me ...no... by Rusty Cooley....google him go to his site watch some videos im not sure whos faster but rusty is amazing aswell theyre both awsome....... rusty is in the band outworld.......out of the videos there i suggest the outworld live 1 or 8th string solo or the under the influence video....

all members of dream theater have been voted as the best on their individual instruments a LOT of times! and you can see why! i saw them live and they truly are outstanding, everything's so tight and together, like the solos with guitar, bass and keyboard all playing the exact same thing!! i was like eek WOAH!

He has a great voic and did a nice job in The Human Equation as the main character.

Labrie and Rudess!!! i love them! James has got an awesome voice its so different and unique. I listen to alot of different voices so i love comparing and such. i just love his voice! and Rudess is the craziest keyboardist ever!!! hes very talented! damn you talented people! yeah he also looks like my music teacher! its awesome
