Aphrodite materialized in the middle of the Queen's hut, Xena and Gabrielle appearing with her.
"You have been traveling Love Goddess Airlines. You'll get your bill in the morning," she told the two of them. "Like, don't wear each other out," she said with a wink.

Gabrielle still felt weird when traveling with the gods by teleporting..or whatever they do. Looking around, she recognized the land immediately. "Amazon grounds..." Gabrielle thought, noting some of the painted signs on nearby trees. Sure enough Amazons were seen a ways away preparing for the next oncoming attack, or so it seemed. "Apparently Ares grew tired of attacking undefensive villages and decided to take his luck here." Turning to survey more of the land, she noticed more soldiers then they usually were in a regular size army. Hearing Xena, Gabrielle looked back up at her friend and said, "This doesn't look like it'll be an easy fight. But it's not impossible. That's all that matters."

*sees a gold flash in teh amazon village* aphrodite brought teh washed up warrior princess an her whiney bard... (yea take THAT evo blaugh ) mebbe i shuld step in... ninja *stands up* URK! gonk mebbe i broke a rib with athena... stare thass fine... *snaps fingers an teh demon dog graegus shows up* (from unchained heart.... it waz a hercules episode whee ) go help teh soldiers my little puppy 3nodding *graegus jumps off teh cliff an in front of teh west army*

"That dosn't matter right now another war is coming we need to be ready"was her reaply.She knew this was going to happen and she knew Athena was responsible so Cyane glared at the goddess before walking out even thought she owed her life.Outside they still stared but her eyes fell apon Xena and gabby."It looks like you suceeded in getting her back"she spoke to Xena with some humor in her voice.With Xena by her side the amazons would win and Ares's army would not dare agian to attack."what are you staring at?Prepare to attack!"Cyane yelled then looked agian to Xena.

-Athena walks out of the hospice tent with Illianus by her side who had come along with her army, and looks up at the sky. She heard the sounds of the feet of many running men, and takes out her gleaming sword, ready to fight. She looks over and sees Xena, then looks back at Illianus, who nods her head briefly before making her way towards the head of the army, in a very calm manner. Once there, she raises a hand causing her archers to ready their bows, and then motions her arm forward. The first batch of arrows were sent soaring through the air with impeccable aim into the chests of many soldiers. Athena looks over at the howling beast in the distance, and smirks.-
Bring forward the catapults, and tell the amazons to be ready for my command.

-Athena notices the fires starting, and a few amazons being set to fire as well, she raised her hands to the sky, and clapped them together fiercely. The sound pierced everyone's ear's on the battle field, and the echo caused the clouds to burst open, pouring over the land with a sudden downfall of water dousing out all of the fires. Athena was infuriated by the damage he caused, and screamed a loud resounding war cry while blasting the crap out of the soldiers with lightening, and energy explosions. It wiped out over half of the east army, while barely grazing the west. Which was not a problem, for the catapults were being sent off at the same time. Giant balls of smoke and flames were being launched through the air, and exploding into the middle of the soldiers, the flames rolling over many of the men, burning them to a charred crisp. Athena teleported over to Graegus, with an emotionless expression in her eyes. She holds the heavy chains in her hands, and swings them behind her before crashing them onto the back of his head, with so much force his head crackled open from the impact like rotten cheese. She Helps the Amazon queen up, and continues to kill every man she came within reach of.-

Ephiny blinked her eyes when a large flash went off in the Queens hut and a bird crashed threw the window at the same time. eek She than saw Athena and Aphrodite who appeared with Xena and Gabrielle. Gods... she thought shaking her head. stare But before she could show her annoyance towards all the interruptions or show her happiness to see Xena and Gabrielle she heard thunder outside and lightening flashing and the very unsettling sound of thousands of booted feet marching towards the Amazon Village. She listened to Athena's speech with little patience and agreed to her plans with a silent nod.
As Athena set off to heal the Amazon's Ephiny got herself ready for battle and than gathered Cyane, Gabrielle, and Xena together. "For today we are the leaders of the Amazon's, Gabrielle I want to ask you to take over as Queen and to say something to give the Amazons hope..." She watched as Gabrielle fidgeted nervously and Xena placed her hand on Gabrielle's shoulder in a subtle yet protective/loving way. "I know that is a lot to ask but I think you are the only one who could do that, the Amazons trust you more than any god or legend." Gabrielle stood up a little taller and nodded her head nobly. Ephiny smiled at her in thanks and admiration.
"And Xena and Cyane I want you to to head the battle with me, front line."
They both nodded their heads silently and they all headed outside to gather the Amazon's to ready for battle.

Gabrielle looked around at her fellow amazons; her people; her friends. Inside, she knew they were afraid. Heck, even she was afraid. Gabrielle couldn't help but feel that. War, death, murder... it was all the same in the end, wasn't it? Nevertheless, Gabrielle knew her duty as queen and raised her head up to the crowd of people.

"Amazons. We have a job to do. A battle to win... This will be another victory to let others remember that we are to be taken seriously. For the future of the Amazon nation, we will fight today. Remember, we are not fighting a senseless army, we are fighting a group of people who think they can desecrate us, destroy who we are... But they do not know of what we can do. They do not see the power that we can hold. We will prove our strength today. This will be not be the end of us. This will be the beginning of more victories to come." Gabrielle paused and looked at Xena. "Be strong, amazons. We will not lose." She turned her head to Ephiny and Cyene and nodded, letting them know to give orders to move out.
