As he had made clear by now, or at least he had hoped he had made it clear, he was not going to be relinquishing his hold on Ornella any time soon. Nor was he going to stop kissing her.. It was nice and it was re-assuring, she certainly didn't seem to be adverse to this either for that matter. "Mmm.. Sorry for the random chit chat.." He managed at last, giving her hip a gentle one handed squeeze and offer her a smile. "If.. You don't want any of this.." He started, quietly.. He could be a dominating prescence, he knew. He felt that he needed to give her the option, just in case. Se wasn't an easily influenced woman, that he knew, but he just wanted to make sure.

Shaking her head slowly Ornella flopped a hand firmly against Grenths cheek. "Just stop worrying, okay..? You might come off all scary to some peopl, but.." she leant closer to him and kissed his cheek a couple fo time, "I know you're just a big p***y cat.." the smile on her lips was very fond as she looked at him, "If I didn't like something you'd almost certainly know about it, for one think 'd have probably turned myself into a frog or something in an effort to get you.." she chuckled, "I'm enjoying this... I like you.." she let her fingers run up to Grenths dark hair, "You make me feel safe and... and I like that too.." she let herself curl against him again, her lips finding his once more, "You don't need to worry about me my dear.."

He couldn't help chuckling a little, more at himself at that point, admittedly, "I am being a little overcautious now, aren't I.." He mused, happily pressing a kiss to the witches nose, "I don't meant to come across scary! I didn't know that I did!" He mock huffed at her as he made an interesting growling noise, pushing himself up with her still resting on his stomach and chest to roll them both over, pressing Ornella down into the cushions this time. He kept one arm tucked around her, but allowed his other hand to be freed up to stroke his thumb and fingers over her cheek as she was doing to him. "I don't doubt that you'd tell me off if you didn't like it.. Humor an old man..?" He smiled, gently stroking his fingers down the side of her face, leaning down to press another gentle kiss to her lips, brushing their noses together as he pulled back. "I will keep you safe.." He stated pointedly, resting down on her again, "I'll keep you however you'd like."

*dances the happy black screen dance*
Mornings had that way of being annoying even here, there was always light from somewhere that you didn't expect, and Ornella really didn't feel like waking up yet, she was so damn tired... why was that..? Shifting slightly and curling herself up a little more into a ball she squeezed her eyes shut, why had she woken up? She wanted to sleep more, the tired feeling that was usually dispelled after a good nights sleep didn't seem to want to leave her alone this morning. After a few moments of stubborn silence she had to admit that there was almost no chance at all of her actually managing to make herself go back to sleep, and realising that, she gathered up an armful of one of the throws she was curled under and pulled it around herself. Yeah.. mornings were definitely not her favourite when she was tired.

*post-black-screen ciggy*
Grenth grumbled softly, he was quite happy where he was, snuggled down amidst the piles of comfortable furnishings that adorned the main seating in the largest room of his aerie. He was warm, he felt surprisingly well rested for once and he was so warm. He liked the mornings, he liked the smell of the air then before it had time to warm to the day, which is why he was a little surprised at himself when he grumbled all the more at he opened an eye to find it light. Normally it would have been a sure sign that it was high time to rise and stretch his wings, especially now that he wasn't feeling quite so bad as he had been over the past few weeks. He flopped back down against the cushions and throws, curling around the nearest thing.. It was very warm, and it was wonderfully soft. It felt very very nice to hold against him, so he did.. Until that too started grumbling, causing his to re-surface once again. He opened an eye to find something as far from a pillow as it could possibly be. For one it was not the right colour.. Secondly.. Pillows and cushions did not show off the subtle curves of breasts.. He smirked to himself. "Good morning 'Nella.." He mumbled against her shoulder, pressing a kiss to it as he nuzzled against it soon after. "Please don't move yet.."

With a small smile on her lips Ornella allowed herself to curl back down on the comfy pile of comfy and snuggled down, shifting back against Grenth again. It was nice to be wanted... that was the warm thought that filled her mind as she settled herself more comfortably against the nice warm chest. She felt really good this morning... tired, yes, but not the horrible kind of tired, but instead the tired where she just felt that the best thing in the world to do right now would be just to lay here and enjoy the lovely feeling of a pair of nice arms curled around her. "Good morning.." she murmured back again, still smiling slightly. "I think I could cope with just staying here for now.. but how long do you suppose you'll want to stay here, just so I can work out whether its worth me trying to go back to sleep.." she shifted slightly so she was facing him properly, and snuggled her face right against his chest for a moment allowing herself to snuggle up close to him once again, her head nestled right under his chin. "Its nice you know..."

The griffin issued Ornella something like a growling purr as she relaxed back against him, not leaving his side for the time being. She felt divine and he was not having her move away just yet, certainly while the 'bedding' was still such a comfortable temperature, until they were over heating or hungry he had no intention at all of moving away. With another soft growling purr he shifted gently, evidently still bordering on sleep he pressed their bodies together quite happily rolling them both slightly into the deeper more piled up yet equally mussed up confines of the throws and pillows blotting out just a little more of the light starting to creep into the main rooms of the aerie out of their faces. "Mmmrrr.. M.. S'nots fer a while.. Soft.." He garbled a little at her, pressing slightly damp, but not unpleasant kisses to whatever expanse of her skin he could find at ease. Truthfully he wasn't nearly as tired as he sounded, but just this once he figured he could allow himself a lazy day. Hopefully the dawn wouldn't decide not to be there tomorrow, so should tonight go along without incident he could return to his usual morning rituals.. Unless his lovely curvy with would rather he did otherwise.. He snerk, letting out the smallest part of what could have been a dirty little chuckle. "You're nicer.. You are the loveliest feeling person I have recently had the pleasure to wake up with.."

The witch couldn't help but chuckle very quietly at the sleepy griffin she's just spent the night with. It wasn't like her at all to just... well, it just wasn't like her at all and that was that, but she couldn't have been happier she didn't think. She was really enjoying the warm feeling of having someone else arms around her and she had to admit she was rather pleased at both the fact he wasn't planning to move any time soon, and also at the lovely kisses she was being gifted... they felt lovely, again, reiterating the fact that she had been missing this over the years. "I don't agree.." She replied to him, happily kissing his collarbone once, then once again. "But I suppose this wouldn't be so nice if I really liked waking up with myself now, would it..?" She mused quietly, slowly curling her arm around Grenth and trailing her fingers slowly over his back. "Will you let me cook for you today?" She asked quietly, "I won't use magic of course, its always messy when I do.. I'd just.. I think I'd like to.." she was smiling again, it was strange to feel so natural, so relaxed with someone as she did just now. "As we really don't seem to have anything else planned for the day... well... at least not anything that requires us to go anywhere else.." she couldn't help the small smile that tugged at her lips at the implications of that comment.

Grenth replied with another happy, growling purr at the kiss to his collarbone, tucking his bedmate closer to him also enjoying the added warmth in the slightly cool, but not cold, morning in the aerie. "You.. You don't agree, huh..?" He mused sleepily to her, slipping slightly back into his groggy state despite the ever increasing sunlight, "Well.. Well that will never do!" He teased, rubbing the bridge of his hooked nose against her cheek and then her throat as he returned the kiss first to her collar and then slowly made his way up her neck. "If yer.. Cooking.. You'd best tell me what you plan to fatten me up with today.." He smiled pressing the softest kisses to her lips, still keeping a grip of iron on her. No way way she moving away yet! His stomach be damned!

Ornella had tipped her head back, just a little to allow the kisses to her neck to find their mark easier, it felt lovely, really lovely, the strangely soft warm lips pressing against her skin. "Mm.." she murmured incoherently, wanting to at least reply in some way to the words that weren't entirely sinking into her slightly foggy brain. "Mm.. food is good." She stated, smiling slightly again, letting her lips press back against his slightly more firmly than he had kissed her, she liked that feeling more than any of the others.. the lips of her slightly grumpy companion pressed against hers. She quite contentedly relaxed in his arms again, it was clear she wasn't moving. "I think we have some of the meat from yesterday left.." she murmured, her head finding his shoulder again as she snuggled down on him, "I was thinking of doing something with that, and.. I might make some potato to go with it.. potato cakes and flat friend meat could be good.. I don't know.." she smiled, "You're bad for my brain.." she stated contentedly, "Its a good bad though, if that can work.. its likes to think about you and very little else..." she chuckled quietly, smooshing her face into the griffins neck a little more. "I like it though..."

The noble couldn't have repressed his pleased purr even if he had tried when Ornella made it clear that she wasn't of the mind to move away from him just yet. It didn't seem to be too much of a problem to him either, for that matter that they both seemed to be yabbering quietly to each other without actually taking in what the other was saying. All that mattered to him, right at that moment at least, was that lovely pressure of her lips pressing back against his own, he gave her pretty much the same response that she had issued to him just a few moments earlier. "Mmm.. Mhhmmm.." He vaguely agreed, he had understood the word food in the few rather hazy words she had spoken, his arms tightening then relaxing slightly as one hand trailed down her back to rest on her hips, innocently enough for now.. For now.. His ears did p***k up that little bit more at the words cake and fried.. He looked confused for a moment as he pulled back just enough to allow him to speak, "Fried cake..? 'Nella, my love.. I do think.." He paused, freezing up for a moment.. He didn't just say.. That word, did he..? He cleared his throat, settling down into the throws as he made himself relax down again. "Maybe we're bad for each other then..? I'm bad for making your brain work, and your idea of breakfast is bad for mine in return..? Universal karma?" He babbled just a little, tucking his head down to rest his chin gently against the side of her head as she hid from the light in his neck. Damned be his words.. He did feel strangely close to her.. He probably shouldn't let himself get too attached unto he knew where they stood.. And with that thought, his hand drifted lower still.

A while later found Ornella forcing herself to sit up again. She had started to protest that potato cakes were not really cakes, but.. well.. other things had just proved more interesting. With a fond smile she looked down at the Griffon that was still curled up sleeping on the big mound of comfy things, he was very sweet.. she concluded as she looked down at him, reaching out a hand to brush over his face gently. She couldn't help but smile. Ornella was also certain though that when he awoke Grenth would most definitely be rather hungry as they'd managed to go a while again without eating due to.. uhm.. other distractions. Carefully she extracted herself from the comfy sofa like bed, pulling a light robe up from the floor that she had been using the times she actually needed to get out of the bed, she shivered lightly as she pulled it around herself and padded out of the room. The kitchen was becoming slowly more familiar to her now, she knew where things she could cook were kept, and things to cook with, and it was this that she now got to work with. As she started to make them something to eat she couldn't help but smile to herself.. that lovely kiss, those lips against hers, firm and warm.. it was delightful, she'd never been with anyone like this before, but it was an experience she greatly liked. The part she was trying to think through more than the others was.. even if it had been in passing he'd called her his love... his love... that she'd never been expecting. They'd talked of course, she knew of his past and she'd been content just to be there as a companion for him, it suited her well as well, she wasn't alone.. but.. his love...? If he meant it... well, that really would change things... definately not in a bad way though.. it was quite a nice thought actually.

The griffin, in all honesty, was fairly happy where he was at the moment, lost in the realms of light sleep. He shifted ever so slightly as the warmth beside his moved and then disappeared, his arm curling over the residual heat from where she had been just a moments before. He was starting to wake up slowly, he couldn't stop himself from smiling groggily. They'd done it again! He couldn't remember the last time he'd been this.. Active.. So to speak, there was evidently just something about her that made him behave so strangely. He was very much sure that it wasn't because love-making had become such a novelty to him in the years gone by, it felt like it was much more deeply rooted than that. Inhaling, he slowly opened just the one un-focused eye to peer down at the space beside him, then snuffling gently again his gaze turned to the kitchen, the source of the gently clinks and the wonderfully appetizing smells.. There was something visually appetizing in there as well, he was sure, which was reason enough for him to move, but then again.. He could wait here and keep her space warm for her.. He was fairly sure she'd like theat. With a smile, a yawn and an almighty shake of his ruffled wings he rolled onto his side and waited for her to return with a pleased growl which was soon echoed by his stomach.

Ornella was content with her cooking, she heard a strange noise coming from the other room, she wasn't able to exactly place what it was but she presumed that it meant Grenth had woken up. It wasn't going to take her too much longer to have their meal ready for them. About ten minutes longer found her moving the food onto plates and picking up a couple of forks to eat with. The light robe clinging nicely to her as she walked back into the main room, Ornella found a small smile tugging at her face as she noticed that Grenth was definitely awake, "You decided to play the lazy male did you?" the words were light and teasing at the witch moved across the main room of the aerie, and to the lounging griffin. "Typical man.." she said quietly, settling back on the edge of the sofa, using the louding griffin's stomach as a back rest, offering one of the plates and a fork to her lover. "I hope you like it.." She murmured quietly, "It'll be horribly embaressing if you don't like it.." she smiled slightly again, her black eyes watching Grenth, "I'm sure you will though.."

Grenth couldn't help but broaden his smile when he saw Ornella emerge from the kitchens, his eyes lingering on her curves, enjoying the way the smooth fabric flowed over them. It was a very appealing sight, though he knew what was under them was even nicer. "Mmmmm.. As the top male of the aerie, I reserve the right to be as 'typically male' as I please!" He mused, "I suppose the lion in me is stronger today, letting my strangely laid back lioness to do all the work then enjoy the fruits of her labour in the kitchen." He made a point of purring at her, lifting an arm as she settled down on the throws and then against him. He made a pleased noise, quick to lift the fork and investigate this cake of potato. "I'm glad to see that it looks savoury," He teased her back, rubbing a hand over the back of her shoulders, "I was worried I'd see cherries and cream on it.." He bent himself over a little more to press a kiss to the witches curvy side with another soft noise, "I know I'll enjoy it! Thank you, Ornella."
