"Well," Sirius shot back at her, with as much bantering force as he did Moony. "When have you seen me get ready in the morning? Were you, perhaps, looking in at us and trying to have a gander at James?"
He did not say this seriously, he just wanted to get her to react. Inside, his lungs were splitting from trying not to laugh.
He stuck out his tongue at her.

Remus snorted before reaching out to swat Sirius on the arm. "She doesn't have to gander, Sirius. It's practically common knowledge that you are the Adonis of the school. Of course you'd spend time to...ah...protect your title."

Sirius scratched his raven-colored hair, totally freaked out about what he had almost said.

"Well, obviously your brain is to slow for your mouth because if you were thinking strait, you wouldn't have thought that I wanted to look at James. Besides, you play with your hair all the time, so I wouldn't have to watch you get dressed just to see you mess with it." Lily knew that they were all just teasing eachother, but she couldn't help but get mad that Sirius thought that she would try to take a "gander" at James.

"Thank you Remus. I always knew you were the brightest of the four of you guys." Lily relaxed a little. It felt good to know that she wasn't the only one who noticed that Sirius did that stupid hair thing all the time. She was tired of being one of the only girls who didn't find it attractive.

Remus blinked. "Alright, he has a point Lily," Remus changed course, leaning around Sirius to look at the pretty redhead.

"I suppose. But had my personality been more studious, I would have been put in Ravenclaw," Sirius shrugged, recalling that the Sorting Hat commented something along the lines of 'you're clever, oh yes. But not the type to be put in Ravenclaw.'
"I don't have any problems with my classes. I'm more concerned with other people's grades, and helping out in Transfiguration."
Sirius let out a little cough, hoping that they knew what he was referring to.

"It was only one spell, Sirius! How many reports does Remus have to help you with regularly? All of them? Or is the only thing you can do by yourself is play with your hair? Or do you need help with that also?" Lily was getting to the point where Sirius was starting to bug her, but she still wanted to argue and tease to see if he would let anything secretive come out of his mouth.
