Kaitlyn kicked halfheartedly at a snowdrift, knowing that she should be acting unhappy about the weather, but somehow not quite able to pull off the act. She didn't mind the cold, and it certainly cut down on the number of people outside. The corners of her mouth twitched upward in spite of her efforts.
She hesitated, checking furtively for other cold weather enthusiasts out of the corners of her eyes, then flopped happily down in the snow, her fair hair forming a sort of pillow under her head. She really didn't get outside enough. This was perfect. Unconsciously, her white-gloved fingers started tapping their way across the powdery snow on either side of her knees, flying across imaginary keys.

Ava nodded in reply to George. "Even being Saturday, when I know most of them don't have anywhere to go." She pulled a bag of apple slices from her lunch bag. She had to cut up her apples before putting them in her lunch. She didn't like eating an apple whole in front of people - the task just seemed as if the eater was too desperate for food, without meaning to be. "I'd be lying if I said I was any different." Wich was true, except for meals. It's unhealthy to eat quickly. She surveyed the room as she nibbled on the first piece of her apple. She was a slow eater, and she knew she'd be here long after most of the students have left.

Alexander noticed a girl flop down in the snow. It was an unusual sight, as she seemed to be unenthusiastic about the snow initially, but then suddenly flourished in the cold weather. He smirked at her actions, rather amused by her childish nature. Walking up to her, he talked as he walked. "What are you up to?"

George smiled knowingly at her comment, taking another bite of salad. "Ava," he started slowly, his smile disappearing. He had thought of what might come in the near future regarding a particular student, and he was afraid of what the consequences might be. "Do you know the student Alexander Blackburn?"

Ava shrugged, her first reaction to say no, she hadn't even heard the name, but a thought came to her, and she did remember overhearing a female student talk with one of the other nurses about a "mysterious rogue" whose name was Alexander Blackburn. "I've only just heard of him," she replied, nonchalantly. "Not enough to claim that I know him."

Quote: "You're Saya, right?" Zach said, somewhat fast. "I'm Zach Bryson. I'm roommates with Alexander Blackburn. I was wondering if you knew anything about him? He told me that he had a class with you." "It depends, what do you want to know?"Saya asked."How about we go outside."Saya said. She grabbed her black jacket and closed her door. She started to walk down the hall to the elevator

Kaitlyn froze as an amused male voice cut through her snow-induced haze of happiness, her heart rate speeding up in preparation for fight or flight. How had she not seen him? She'd checked... This was what came of spending time outside! She should have gone with her gut and stayed in the dorm room with her laptop and a cup of hot chocolate, she realized, trying to force down the panic fluttering in her stomach as she gingerly got to her feet again.
She didn't bother with brushing away the snow that covered her back and encrusted her hair and glasses, and she certainly didn't look up to see exactly who the boy was. Instead, keeping her eyes fixed firmly on the snowy ground, she shook her head dumbly, turned, and began walking quickly back in the direction of her dorm. Please don't follow me! she pleaded silently, Don't come after me to find out what's wrong. This was a mistake, so just let me get the hell out of here!

{{ So Anabel Sinclair has volunteered to take over for Zach. I'll let her start from here with your conversation, darkangel. }}Alexander simply watched as the girl got up and moved away quickly. He smirked, wondering whether or not he should give chase. She was rather strange, that was obvious. However, her panicked look deterred him from following. Instead, he shrugged it off and walked in the direction of Alpha dorm, kicking lightly at the snow as he went. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"There might be a time in the near future when he will visit your office due to an injury. You know these young people; they tend to be rash and end up injuring themselves. However, when you get a visit from Blackburn, please let me know immediately." Finishing his salad, George moved his chair back and stood up, grabbing at his tray. "It was nice talking with you, Ava. Please keep in mind what I have just told you." Putting his tray away, George gathered his coat around himself, whistling as he left the cafeteria.

Ava could only stare as the president of the university walked away. She suddenly became skeptic. How would he know that one of the students would come in her office with an injury? Her investigative side taking over for a moment, she began to wonder if he would be the cause of the injury. She knew, logically, one can't predict someone else's injuries unless they were to be the ones causing the injury.
Putting her unfinished bag of apple slices in her lunch bag, she stood up. It was getting late, and she wanted to head home before the snow got any worse. First, however, she had to make a quick stop at her office; she had left her coat there. Thankfully, the halls weren't very crowded, making her journey easy and quick. Upon the arrival to the door of her office, she went for her keys in her nurse's coat pocket, glancing down the hall at a sudden burst of laughter that came from a couple students down the way. She unlocked her door, and walked inside. She didn't bother to turn the light on, for she wasn't planning on staying too long, and she knew where her coat was.

Kaitlyn was halfway there before she risked a glance over her shoulder. She turned back with a sigh of relief that fogged up her glasses, and continued at a slower pace up to what was supposed to be her safe haven. Why did they have to put her in the largest, co-ed dorm? The girl's dorm would have been as close to perfect as it was possible to get. She sighed again, brushing a cloud-like strand of snow-laced, white blond out of her face as she pulled the overlarge door open and slipped inside.
As she climbed up the stairs, she started to wonder, as she always did after someone tried to talk to her. Such incidents were few and far between at Eden; everyone was much too busy worrying about their own schedules, their own lives. But when it did happen, after she ran away, she started thinking about who they might have been and why they had started talking to her. This time, she wondered what he had been doing out in the snow in the first place; it was obvious enough that her snow-flop had prompted his attempt at conversation.
Finally she reached her room, pulled her room key out of a fleece lined pocket, slipped it into the slot, and pushed the door open. It shut with a disproportionately loud noise behind her as she took off her scarf, coat and gloves, all of which would be soaked once the snow on them melted, hanging them over the back of an obliging chair before starting warm water running in the sink. Nothing sounded better at the moment than a hot shower.

David walked outside and sat down on a bench silently then pulled a hand held game out of his pocket and began to play it.Fifteen minuets later he put it away and went back inside the university. He went back upstairs to his dorm room and went to bed for the day.

Setting her lunch bag down on her desk, she grabbed her large, black, imitation fur coat, and threw it on over her white lab coat. Normally, she'd take her lab coat off first, but it was cold, most likely freezing, outside. She wasn't too particular to the feel of long sleeves on long sleeves. Picking up her lunch bag, she set out from her office, reclosing and locking the door behind her. Pocketing her keys, she began a new journey towards the outside of the school.
