Gabrielle looked at the fires that just suddenly appeared. "Whats going on?" She looked at Xena in question but before she could question her, she watched Xena grab the innkeeper and call out Ares name.

The fire certianly shocked her and hearing that a god was hear shocked her even more but she did not leave her spot in the corner,her brown eyed gaze still on gaby and Xena.To her the innkeeper was slow and by the time he put out the fire it would be to late.Standing she ran out side a grabbed a bucket that was sitting in a barel of water,filled it and brought it back in in an attempt to put out the growing fire.

When Xena saw the person attempting to put out the fire, she seemed to let out an annoyed sound, releasing the 'inn keeper' and heading into one of the rooms, where there were a few buckets of water. She couldn't let the inn burn down because of that scum of a god known as Ares, be what it was, and she ran and began helping the person put the fire out, dumping water over it until it was settled down.

*watches xena put out teh fires an looks at Gabby* at least this part went teh plan... *stands up an turns back inteh ares then grabs gabby an both of us disappear in a bug flash of light (back teh mt olympus)* (yeh surprised? surprised )

"GABRIELLE!" Xena cried in anguish/worry as she ran over to where Ares had taken Gabrielle. "I hate it when he does this!" she hissed through gritted teeth, giving her head a shake. What a pathetic excuse for a god. Xena arched a brow when she noted that it was Cyane who'd been helping her with the fire. "Yes, it's been a while..." replied Xena, glancing over her shoulder and searching. She had a funny feeling...was there some kind of other god in here? Nah, I'm just being hopeful she thought. She needed a way to get to Olympus. Ares was scum - she knew he'd take Gabrielle one place where it would be damned hard to get. Maybe Aphrodite will help.. she thought, thinking of some sort of way to get in contact with her, having no idea that Athena was just outside.

-Athena enters the room with the two warriors and crosses her arms, with a serious expression on her face.-
Hello, Xena. I couldn't help but notice that Ares ran off with your girl. But no need to worry, Ares won't hurt a single hair on her head. He's just using her to get to you, of course. You know that you won't be able to reach her without the help of a god. And it just so happens that I know where she is, and I'm willing to help you in exchange for a favor.
-Athena raises an eyebrow while waiting for her response-

Cyane stood frozen in place,she had never been in the presence of a god before or even a goddess.Finally finding her voice she spoke,looking at Athena but speaking to Xena"Xena beware"she said"trusting anyone especially a goddess is foolish".She couldn't help to feel like there was something more,something that was unwanted but she couldn't tell exactly what.
(it would be funny if Athena made Cyane go poof and end up in the amazon village.)

Xena headed Cyane's warning...but she also knew that whatever it was, she had to do it. The only way to get to Olympus was if a God or Goddess brought you. It was a stupid idea, owing a favor to the Goddess Athena...but she was right. Ares had Xena's girl, her best friend...and she couldn't stand by and do nothing, it wasn't in her. She glanced at Cyane and gave a nod, letting her know she understood what she was saying, but had to do this anyway. She finally looked back to Athena, and gave a nod, "Alright Athena, I'll do you a favour..." she paused, "But it's after I get Gabrielle back - understood?" she said, and then she extended her hand as somewhat of a peace treaty, and to signify she was willing to shake on this deal.

I'm afraid that's impossible, Xena.
I need you to help the amazons fight against Ares army.
So Gabrielle has to stay at Mount Olympus, to keep Ares distracted.
You can distrust me all you like, it doesn't change anything.
You'll have to cooperate if you want my help.
Fight with the amazons first, and then we'll get your girlfriend.

Xena gritted her teeth, wanting so badly to just...attack Athena really, until she took her to Gabrielle. She knew, however, that if she wanted to get to Olympus, she needed to cooperate...and so she would. "Fine.." she grumbled, shaking Athena's hand. "But by the gods Athena...if he hurts her in anyway," she growled, in quite the threatening voice, before she gave a shake of her head. No, she knew Ares wouldn't hurt Gabrielle...that much was certain. "Alright - take me there and lets get this over with..." she murmured, wanting nothing more than to go get Gabrielle back.
