One time I borrowed the school's trumpet. When I took it out for the first time to clean it, there was popcorn falling out of it. White, butter-free popcorn, but it was really weird. Also, the person who was using it before me was allergic to corn.

A 6th grade beginner saxophone had kept his reed on for about six months...My band director thought his tone was funky (well, funky for a beginner), and he took it off...The reed was covered almost completely in black mold...My BD showed it off during class...I almost puked!!! DX

My Marching Band was the most perverted and retarded in the entire state, even though we won just about everywhere we went - go figure.
But after my sophomore year, I wanted my same horn for my junior year, and when I picked it up, it wouldn't play, it sounded clogged, so I gave it a shake and found a banana peel and a cookie speared together by a tampon!
That was really interesting.

Weirdest thing I ever found in my tuba was a giant wad of paper. Stuffed up the whole bell.
One of the other sousaphones, Doug, got an ice cube down his sousa once. Some kids were chucking them during break at marching practice and it went straight down the bell. He had to get help turning the tuba up-side-down to get it out.

MOLD. It was growing in my old mouthpiece. Most disgusting thing I'll ever see in a flute, I hope. xD

Well, this wasn't IN my instrument, but it was in the case. ..___..
A tissue. razz It was all balled up and stuck. I disposed of it fast. It was in the accesory conpartment.
And I have either slide oil or a small mouthpiece [STUCK] in my trombone case because whenever I carry it, it makes rattling noises. o_o I don't see it though.
