This is where my weakness lies, I have none. Only this year have I begun, and kept, reading a Daily bible.

My reasons exist in the fact that I have so felt I am being led to Magick. So many things connecting, a path set out before me with nothing to hinder me. Constantly I thank god for leading me as he does, and say "If I am wrong please tell me." Never have I be told to turn back, never have I felt I needed to.

So I say, no I have to biblical source that says magick is ok, at least not among what I've read and the translation that I have, alot was removed and changed by both the jews originally and by the roman catholic church (Not bashing just stating the facts.)

It is a my Spiritual Connection with god that tells me that it is allowed, that I feel so Strongly that I need to learn this and use it.

Please pardon me for saying this, but I found that a little odd...

You say God is leading you to go into magic? That is pretty contradictory in itself... Jesus Himself went against any sort of dark arts, and in my opinion, anything that doesn't come from God comes from Satan. If there is some third power, please let me know. Yes, we (as in humans) can manipulate energy, but that's just it. Manipulate. Not create.



Also, you said nothing hinders your path? This may sound biased, but that seemed kind of suspicious. Don't you think God would want you to tred on a path that's at least a little difficult, if only so you could rely on Him?

It is a fundamental law of Physics that energy cannot be created or destroyed, no we have not the ability to create energy, but we can manipulate it, gather it and focus it.
As for dark arts, that is only half of magick. There is White and black magic, black is used only to harm, if there is a protective of healing use then it take from Someone to give to the caster.
Dark magick, seperating the terms black and dark, can be connected with magick as a whole, yes, but refers to Methods not the act itself. Human sacrifices, blood magick, that is Dark, And I personally, as with god, will have none of that.
Truely powerful, successful, magick comes from light, and love, and any practitioner will say that.
There is no Third power, there is Light and Darkness. In between there is shadow, but that is more a field of battle then a power to use.



I did not say my path was not difficult, if the learning of it is not a hard road it is made harder because of those around me, I am Christian I will never be anything else. But, I will not be accepted by a lot of my fellows.

You didn't answer my question. Or my other comments.

Do you believe then that the Holy Spirit will tell you something that is not already in the Word of God? That perhaps there is some new revelation that can only be attained through the Holy Spirit?

Do you believe that the apocrypha is also inspired by God?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to better understand what you believe.

Demons or fallen angels, or any-one for that matter, can set a path and make sure it is unhindered. Have you thought about that? wink



I hate to get deep into this conversation, but you're wrong. Magic is magic. It is all energy. It is all using that energy. How you use it is what matters. But. Use it to protect one person, and you're taking the energy from someone else. It's all the same; you are always hurting and helping. You're just moving the energy around.


I just found myself a copy of the Books of Enoch. It contains the book, his letters to his sons, and his journeys through the heavens. The book is called Fallen Angels and the Origins of Evil by Elizabeth Clare Prophet. smile It also has her opinions and conclusions, but the books are there, copied (I believe) from the first publishing/finding.
