lol all i have to say is my brother justin. he is the biggest klutz in the world lol. let me tell you how not to recover when marching lol. do NOT fall, and then frantically crawl to ur next spot and then get up. what was even funnier was that it was at a competition and he summersaulted down the hill and then crawled!!!! and he made drum major the next yr lol.

well...I have a tendency to make slightly erotic noises when I yawn (unintentionally I swear!) and once during a competition, when the adjudicator was speaking to my band, I decided to yawn...and then I just saw my teacher, and the adjudicator, and my entire band staring at me in bewilderment...*sigh* (gets red at the memory...) crying

One day, we had a football game and we were just waiting for the pregame festivities that involved us, the marching band, well a friend of mine was going into the lounge on the second floor that is in the music building(I'm in college) and there was these two double doors that open out and was walking on a flat surface and tripped over my own feet and into the door that was closed because my friend had the other one partially open. All she did was say "What the?!?" and just starts laughing her head off at me.
Also, another time was when I sneeze, I just don't sneeze once or twice, but about five or more at times and well I started sneezing during a practice and just about everyone around me started laughing because of the number of times I sneeze.

My most embarrassing moment was back in the seventh grade when we got a new band teacher and he was talking about something then a few seconds later we pulled up our instruments but I couldn't because I had my hair stuck in my clarinet. He realized that and he stopped everyone and had the people around me help get my hair out of my clarinet. It took two people and they almost had to get it cut off.

Right before a concert I was messing around with my trombone mute and got it suck inisde a Bari Sax. The whole band wouldn't stop laughing at me. We ended up getting it out by my teacher stabbing a flute cleaning stick in and out of the Bari under one of the keys.

Man, embarassing moments. I could go on, and on, and on...
Most recently, we were playing Lord of the Rings for our school, and I was having a really bad day with cues, because I missed my first enterance cue. Then I missed the cue for my solo and ended up missing my entire solo. It was horrible.
Another time, we were walking back from a football game (so I was wearing my sousaphone) and I went to step around a trash can and ended up walking into a pillar instead.

In January, I started playing Tuba. It was kind of heavy, so I rested it on the floor (Belll to the floor), and I went to pick it up and it hit me in the face. Dx
And when I was trying out for my Jazz band try-out, I had to play a Concert F scale, and I kept messing up. Dx
On Monday, I was at a band festival, and I was in the hallway, with my Tuba in my hands, and this girl yells to me "GO TROMBONES!!" and gave me a thumbs up sign. xDD But then I accidentally hit the back of my head on a brick wall since my Tuba bag is so heavy, and I felt like I was about to fall down the stairs because of it. -.- . Then I hit the rim of my Tuba's bell on the brcik wall.

I've got a great story to tell yall... It was marching band season and on a whim, I decided to wear a french maid outfit to school. (I'm a dude btw). I shaved my legs, wore stockings, the dress, leather boots (hell yeah cause they're smexy like that) and it wasn't until band class that day did I remember it was marching band season. The band director pulled me aside and asked me, "What the hell?" I said "cause it makes my look pretty." It must have been a pretty funny sight seein me out their on the football field trying to march in tall leather boots and a dress. Two days later the principle made an announcement that guys were no longer allowed to wear dresses to school.

okay, so theres only one bass clarinet in our band and we all switch off. so it was my turn and we were playing some music by danny elfman...you probably know how strange his music is. well my BD looks at me and says "beat three at H...that needs to come out. your the only one playing that." me "Thats not what i have..." then after about five minutes of deliberation where he came over to me and stopped the entire rehearsal...it turned out instead of my part i was reading the regular clarinets 3rd part. redface

Last year near the beginning of band, we had a concert rehearsal at the high school for the middle school band night and you know how in some pieces you have to make a noise or clap or sing? We had to like, scream, "UUH!" and I was the only one you could hear and my crush was there and... he was laughing at me. And yeah I was laughing too, but I just couldn't get over that. OOH. And then in seventh grade, I was coming to sit on the chair.. and i missed. I was laying like, sprawled on the floor about a foot away from my chair... And i have another.. Yeah.. this one was weird. I had a really bad cough and I fell off my chair (from all the pressure from the coughing, you know) and I farted. Uh. Terrible. Luckily, only one person heard and saw that, and that was my best friend... And yeahh...<<

This didn't happen to me, it happened to my best friend. In our sequence last year, we had to do a toilet bowl spiral. We were supposed to go around 2 and a half times, but my friend went around three full times instead and held the entire band up! We watched it later on tape and couldn't stop laughing! Also, this year we had to go from quick time to slow time. In practise the day before, for some reason, I started stepping off on my right foot. At comp, I talked to my BD before and she told me to absolutely NOT step off on my right foot, and when the time came, sure enough, I did. It drove her crazy!
