The ride was short enough to not be terrifying but certainly he missed it with his eyes closed. Opening one hesitantly he found themselves at the bottom and he then looked around. They were alive! Releasing his hold a bit embarrassed at his actions Adriel also went to stand but found his tentacles were still firmly holding onto Duncan.
"Uh.." Adriel started wondering just why the tentacle like arms were still clutching to Duncan as if he were an anchor maybe they had been more afraid then he had been.
Jayoku chewed on her lower lip at Junes words. Yes that was true. She have had children from from food, or be combinations of animal DNA before. But.....these children...there was something unearthly about them.
"I dunno but I think we better ask some more questions to that facility...just so we know what we are getting into."

Duncan lifted his hands up to poke at the tentacles before squirming a little, "Release." He told them as he poked them. Surely now that they were at the bottom of the slide they didn't need to cling to him anymore? He looked back at Adriel as if he could make them do something. After all they were his limbs...
"I wonder exactly how much information we could get out of them." He said, tilting his head to the side, "Best to try to talk to the one you got your boy from, sounds more helpful then the man I met."
If they were going to get anywhere they would have to talk with someone that would talk, not one that would do everything in a rush.

Adriel wondered if this word Duncan was using would work if he said it.
"Rewease!" He said trying to make his tentacles listen to him but they only quivered at the poking. It was Adriel's turn to now poke at his own limbs.
"Rewease?" he asked again now sounding uncertain. Though he didn't mind being so close it was annoying that they wouldn't listen to him!
"Let go!" he said in a more commanding tone. The tentacles finally released their hold as if not wanting to be scolded further. Adriel looked surprised as his own limbs came back to his side.
Jayoku gave a shrug. "She didn't tell me much, not even his name. I am surprised now that he had a name at all now that I think on it." she continued with a worried look on her face. If they did go back.....would they get any answers?

Duncan stepped back when he was released, a little impressed though he wouldn't say so out loud. He stretched out instead, giving a fluttering of his metallic wings which caused them to make a chiming sound. He looked over at Adriel before looking towards their parents. He wondered what they were talking about, they looked so serious... he felt his anger rising a bit. What were they talking about?
"Abandon." He murmured, to Adriel and pointed at the two adults. They weren't going to leave them here were they! That would be just like how those people at the Church left them all the time while they were still there. He shook his head rapidly. He didn't want to be left again! He wouldn't let June leave him! His trio of eyes narrowed and he started to stalk forward towards the parents.
"His name sorta fits so I can see why he got it but... I see what you mean." He was surprised they didn't have like numbers or something. He glanced over at the kids, seeing them coming this way and Duncan looked a bit unhappy again. Uh-oh...
"Duncan? You alright?"

Adriel was impressed by Duncan's wings. They were so neat! He had no wings of his own....just his tentacles. But when he mentioned Abandonment his eyes widened. He didn't want to be left alone! He liked being with people and going to play and eating good food!
Watching Duncan he followed like a shadow close behind, he didn't want to be alone he took hold of the boys hand in a tentative manner.
Jayoku looked over to see Duncan and Adriel coming towards them,the red skinned boy looked upset about something and Adriel looked like he was about to burst into tears again. Uh oh...

Duncan launched himself at June when he was closer enough, wrapping his arms around one of the tall man's legs, claws digging in, "No!" He said in a loud, angry tone and clung.
The man blinked a couple times, shifting his legs to keep himself from falling over and then asked, "No? No what Duncan?" He asked, reaching a hand down to stroke his hair wondering what had happened between the two boys now that he was acting like this.
Duncan looked up at him, claws digging in deeper, "Abandon." He hissed, three eyes narrowing, looking very displeased. Why else would he be talking to seriously with this woman? They were going to decide it was a mistake and leave him here with the tentacle boy he just knew it!
June could only stare for a moment, seeming a bit taken aback by the word, "Ahh... No, no Duncan I would never." He said, in a rush when he could speak again.

Adriel wanted to latch onto Duncan just because he was in the same boat as him for abandonment. Instead he stood aback looking from the boy to his mom uncertainly. He was afriad of being left alone, and finally he went to snuggle against his mother as Duncan seemed to be...with his dad.
"No go." he said burrying his head into her leg.
Jayoku wondered where they got the idea they were going to just up and leave them....could they read their body language that well?? And though they were unsure abou the kids and a bit hesitant it didn't mean she was going to gie the poor boy up. He was for one adorable, and she didn't like the way the scientists treated them.
"Never hun. Your staying with me even if you didn't want to." she said giving him a pat on the head.

June carefully pried the boy free of his leg, easing the claws out so they wouldn't cause any more damage then they had already before he picked the boy up, "Come on now, no worries. I wouldn't leave you here." He said again, looking over at Jayoku with an unsure look in his eyes. They must not have been given the best of care if they were so quick to think they were going to be left behind.
"I think he maybe be tired, its been a long day." June guessed, patting the boy's back in a soothing manner, "Maybe I should get him home so he can rest."
Duncan wrapped his arms around June tightly, as if to make sure there was no way the man could let him go. He then laid his head on the man's shoulder, two of his three eyes closing. The idea that he wasn't going to be left was one that sent a wave of relief through his small form.

Jayoku picked up her own son and gave him a kiss on the forehead to cal him down.
"Yes, I would say so.." she replied at Junes comment, she then shifted Adriels' weight so she had a better hold of him, the idea of taking the boys home soundedl ike a good idea.
"Perhaps we can get together again. Let the boys get to know each other better...and we can talk more as well." she said trying to not mention the facility they had gotten the kids in case it started a nwe wave of panic.
Adriel felt immensely calmer being pressed against his mothers chest. It soothed him to feel her warmth and he snuggled down into her his own tentacles snuggling up to her as well though not groping her for once.

"Sure thing." He said, patting his pockets before asking, "You happen to have a pen on you? I could give you my number." He hadn't anything on him that useful he had realized after checking. Women had purses though that held everything and the kitchen sink, rather like bags of holding. So maybe she would have something he could write the number on as well, "And maybe some paper?"
Duncan was listening to what was being said, his yellow eye turning to look over at Adriel. So he was going to be meeting up with him again then? He supposed that wouldn't be to bad so long as those tentacles behaved and didn't hug him to much.

Jayoku nodded her head, she did have a purse and luckily it contained her sketch book and some art supplies.
"If you don't mind using graphite to write in..don't think I have any regular pencils.." she trailed off shifting Adriel into one arm whilst she dug into her purse with her free hand. Finally managing to rip a piece of her sketchbook paper out of the binder she fumbled for a piece for graphite and finally withdrew them and handed it to June.
"We should swap phone numbers for sure."
Adriel looked back at Duncan to June and then his mom. So...they weren't being abandoned...that was good but he still was a bit nervous about it all.

June gave a nod of thanks as the paper and pencil were handed over to him. He looked around a moment for a surface to write on before giving an 'ah-ha' when he found one, "Hold still a moment Duncan." He said, using one of the boy's metal wings as the surface he needed.
As he wrote out the information he was given a dark look from Duncan though the boy made no protest over his wing being used other then that. He was to exhausted, the day had far to many ups and downs for his liking...
"The phone may be answered by... well any number of other people. Are house is kinda like a motel for various vagabonds." He said with a laugh. There was him, his band mates, people that were invited over by the band, fans, and family, "Just ask for me and I am sure I will be found."
He held the paper out to her, "It was luck us meeting like this."

Jayoku had to wonder about the 'various vagabonds' that lived with June and also had to ponder if it would be such a good environment for a kid like Duncan. It was difficult enough as it was dealing with Adriel one on one, she couldn't imagine having to face complaints of being groped inappropriately by the boys tenetacles.
" I will make sure to ask for you then." she said tucking the paper and graphite back into her purse. Her arms too full to put the graphite back into its proper case she could only hope that it didn't decide to turn the insides of her purse gray.
"Oh...did you want my number too? Or should I just phone and give it to you?" she asked the idea of fetching another peice of paper and retrieve the graphite a bit daunting.
Adriel so warm against his mother had by now started to drift off to sleep. The day had been rather eventful for him too. Too much was going on, he just wanted to stay with mommy.

He couldn't help but give a little chuckle, "Sure, that could be fun." He said, thinking about what could happen were a woman to call up looking to leave her number for June. The hive of people he lived with would be abuzz trying to figure out what was up, who she was, and so on and so forth. It should prove to be most interesting, "I look forward to your call."
He gave Duncan a little pat on the head, "You ready to go home kid? You have a lot of people to meet if your feeling up to it."
Duncan starred at his father with his trio of eyes before nodding, "Okay." He murmured simply. He would rather go home and nap but he supposed that he could meet some people as well. He turned his gaze then to Adriel watching the other boy but said nothing to him. He'd had said all he would say to Adriel today it would see.
"It was good meeting you Jayoku." June said, then turned towards home and started in that direction. This should be a strange home coming...
