 Just a reminder that I want EVERYONE to tryout for Quidditch! We need all of you to make ravenclaw the greatest team!
We will also earn house points if we have the most people try out, so come support Ravenclaw!

You can see the general tryout thread here, and I hear they've got some sort of elixir to help satisfy quidditch cravings, but all Ravenclaws can get their Quidditch fix trying out! The mascots of the other houses are earthboud - only we take the skies, so I need all of you to help us take the Quidditch cup! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wonder if you all should maybe stop drinking this...but I'm afraid to get between you and the bottle. o.o Tou remind me of Captain Jack and Elizabeth when they got drunk on the island in the first Pirates of the Carribean movie. And if any RAVENCLAWS need a real quidditch fix, come try out!

UPDATE!  Applications 'ave alreadeh started coming en! It's been a slow, painful start, but I stell 'ave high expectations by the end of the month! Come on folks! Try out for your teams
May I remind you that the team to get the most applicants receives HOUSE POINTS! Even if you don't make the team, (which is VERY unlikleh), you can contribute to your house!

Coming in 2nd is Slytherin with 3 applicants!
Tying for 3rd are Gryffindor and Hufflepuff with 2 applicants!

I'm having issues with Hufflepuff's trying out. I'm trying to grab their attention, but it's just not working. Hmmmmmmmmmm. It's probably because I'm a first year. But I'm going to take a swig of that quidditch fix and get pumped so I can show HUFFLEPUFF CAN get high in the ranks. We just need to get people interested. I think I have an idea. I just wish I wasn't technology illiterate. That would make this go a whole lot easier.

TIME TO TAKE IT UP A NOTCH!
Everyone who tries out for their house's Quidditch Team, is automatically entered to win a January 2008 Monthly Collectible Letter!
The names of the applicants will not be posted, for privacy reasons, untell Team Member Tryouts 'ave ended; but you will be notified if you are successfully entered ento the letter contest with a SPECIAL LETTER from Madame Hooch! The winner will be chosen at random, and I'm afraid the Captains are not included.
Those who 'ave previousleh applied will receive their special letter as soon as possible, confirming their entry into the letter contest! The applicants' names will be send to Madame Hooch, (xTahirux), via PM.

It'd be pretty easy to do both, but what do you think... Sure! I think having player scores would be interesting! You could keep track of how many points each player scored per game, then get a grand total of how many points each player scored during the whole year! (Perhaps we could award that grand winner something special! wink )
I haven't mentioned this to you yet, but I'd like you to eventually make a scorekeeper's thread of sorts in the Quidditch sub-forum. There you could post game/player scores throughout the entire year and such. I'll send you more information through PM when it comes closer "game day!" Don't even worry about this just yet. whee
