"Nine is not food!" Luna argued delariously, the heat was getting to her as well. "Nine! Dooooooo something!"
The tails of the black ninetales shook off the last traces of ice before focusing on the incoming Glace. The heat didn't bother her at all, she WAS a fire pokemon afterall. Seeing the blue pokemon come at her again, she was quite wary of letting it get close to her. Long range seemed the best. Nine inhaled quickly and then exhaled a large blast of fire at the incoming pokemon.

"Hehe... sorry..." Sunnie said, blushing and looking away. "I figured it was a good battle strategy..."
Glace never even saw the flamethrower coming - he merely ended up tripping and falling over on the floor, coincidentally ducking underneath the attack. Other than a few singed eartips, he stood up unharmed.
"Yay! That's my Glace!!" she cheered, trying to raise Glace's spirits. "Come on, you can do it! Show 'er who's boss with a tackle!"
Glace nodded. He wasn't too sure who was talking to him or what he was supposed to tackle, but he used his best judgment. He saw a wiggling black object in the distance, and figured that that was his target. "Uhhghnnn... Hey you uhh... I'ma comin' for ya, shadowy dealie!!" he shouted, trying to sound threatening, as he gathered up precious energy to sprint forward for the head-on assault.
I can't afford anymore misses... Sunnie thought as she watched her pokemon, muscles aching from tension and exhaustion.

"'salright" Luna replied, wiping off some sweat from her forehead.
Nine's reflexes screamed at her to move, but her muscles were still tired and her body was confused from the constant change from heat to freezing ice. Nine was moments too late by the time Glace attacked her. The ninetales fell backwards and slowly drifted off to a land of unconciousness. The overbearing heatwaves receeded and a cool breeze swept over the beach.
After wiping the sweat off her face with her shirt, Luna grinned and laughed. "That was a great battle Sunnie! One of the most exciting I've had in a while!" She fished Nine's pokeball from her leg pouch and a red beam reached out from the ball's center to retrieve the fallen pokemon. "Kudos for you guys! Oh...sorry if I may have given you a sunburn." She added with another small giggle.

Sunnie looked at the field with disbelief, not even noticing that the temperature had returned to normal. "...I... I won? ....AHHHH I WONNNN!!!" she screamed with joy. "Ahhhh my first battle ever and I WON!!! Oh it must be a sign! ...Oh!"
"Ahhh... feels so nice..." Glace said to himself as he lied down on the sand, too exhausted to move, feeling the cool breeze brush against his face. He managed to open his eyes halfway to look up at the brilliant blue sky and see the sun shining it's warming light down upon the field. He then closed them, focusing on the wonderful weather rather than his excruciatingly painful injuries. "Ahh... feels... so nice..."
Sunnie jumped down off of her platform and ran to Glace, picking him up and squeezing him while laughing wildly with happiness. "You did it, Glacey! You did it!! You deserve a good rest," she said as she took a pokeball off of her belt and returned him into it.
She waved up to Luna. "Thaaanks! You're like, totally awesome! Thanks so much for teaching meee! You're the best!!" I'm so glad I finally made a friend here... she thought to herself.
"Huh? Sunburn? ...AHHHH MY ARMS!!" Sunnie screamed as she looked at them - they were patched all over with red blotches. "Aghhhh, this is going to hurt tomorrow...."

Luna laughed. "Yeah, that's one of the disadvantages of battling with a fire pokemon..." She looked at her own arms as well before searching through her waistbag for something.
"AHA!"
Luna pulled out a ziplock bag of what seemed to look like mush. Blue mush. "Here~It's a grounded rawst berry, very useful for sunburns.

Sunnie giggled. "I wouldn't know, Glace is an ice-type... luckily I've never gotten any frostbite because of 'im, except when I went up north to catch him!"
Sunnie looked at the blue mush in her hands. "Well, if it'll help..." She rubbed it up and down on her arms until it seeped into her skin. She immediately felt it's effect - her skin began to cool down some. "Hey wow, this stuff works great! Too bad it looks gross... Thanks!"
"So... now what should we do?"

Luna laughed at Sunnie's comment. "I choose stuff on convenience, sorry."
Then, she pondered on Sunnie's other question. "Ah~I know, come to Katrina with me~" Luna ansewered, already grabbing Sunnie's hand and dragging the other trainer out of the stadium. "We need to stop by the pokemon center first of course, but then you can come to my workshop~" She hummed happily.
