I actually lean towards the hardcore punk, DIY ethics, and roots of Screamo/post-hardcore music, but I appreciate the bands you've listed.
Diversity is key in taste, so maybe you'd like some of the bands I listen to:
Envy
Circle Takes the Square
Raein
La Quiete
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Maybe you'll check some of them out.

sephiroth952 im a heavy/shred guitarist...i also play the cello in our schools first orchestra favorite bands- lamb of god, dragonforce, judas preist, iron maiden, slayer, megadeth, old metallica, led zeppelin, motley crue, pink floyd, killswitch engaged, etc.... anyway rock on poeple and remember when in doubt blast some lamb of god!! your signature ROCKS twisted

Heavy metal is the law!
I'm a drummer, and i play lots of subgenres, but my favorite is prog metal.
it's deliciously challenging to play, and fun too, as it is unpredictable.
my favorite bands are Tool, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Pantera, PInk Floyd, Dream Theater and Edwin Dare.

Ah yes, some awesome bands to listen to are Believer, Demon Hunter, Becoming the Architype, Living Sacrifice, Tourniquet, Vengence, and Deliverence. They're all really good metal bands. 3nodding
