I do have a new question though: Would it be possible for us to get assigned to an avatar of the same gender? I don't know about others, but I would prefer to dress up as another female avatar (especially since I already spent my free gender-switch).

If anyone feels strongly about dressing up as someone from the opposite gender they can PM me and I'll see that it happens (at least to the best of my ability). This also helps clear up some of the male/female outfit peice issues. Participant list updated.

Wait, we're going to get assigned? That's ridiculous. I thought the Modist Halloween thing was just so we could get a loose theme going, and people could participate in that if they wanted. Now we have to sign up to participate and we don't even get to pick who we dress up as? I don't know about you, but I'm dressing up as who I want to dress up as, and if there's doubles, then I guess that person will be doubly amused.

I feel the same way, but someone was worried that peope would feel left out if nobody wanted to dress up like them. Like I've said before, in the end people will just do what they want.

Nobody's FORCING anyone to do anything. This is just one way for people to have fun, especially if they don't care who they dress as. Dress up however the hell you want to.
