i sure do. you have two more days. if you set aside a few hours for each paper, you should be set!
just PM me when you're ready, and i'll send you my e-mail. and of course, if you need any small revisions along the way, you can just keep posting.
now, i work a double on sunday starting at 11 AM, so if you send them to me sunday i might not get home until about 10 PM central standard time. but if you can get them to me, i can get them back to you in about an hour after i start looking over them.
i don't know how much help i could be on the genomes paper, but you can send that one too, if you like. XD

for the essay that I am doing right now, I am just kind of re-telling the story and pointing out the gothic terms. thats the thing to do right?
Later into the story, the narrator retells his story of how he got to where he is . He goes into detail about this cat which he named 'pluto'. The cat is all black which would be superstition because black cats are said to be bad luck or witches in disguise. He talked about his temper being a disease and how he would treat the animals horribly, but the black cat seemed to have a different effect on the narrator. One night, the narrator's house catches on fire (which would be a gothic element of

yep. sounds like the right thing to do.
hm. i'm stuck on that one. i don't know what that one would be. but a good point on the superstition linked with black cats. what other gothic elements are you supposed to be using, aside from omens and the others you listed before?

Yeah... However, My teacher also says that I put feeling into my writing... and give it a voice. That's what keeps him from giving me F's...

just pretty much anything that we can -nods-
the sheet I have have the following terms:
setting in a castle
atmosphere of mystery and suspense
an ancient prophecy
omens, visions ect
supernatural or unexplainable events
high or overwrought emotion
women in distress
women threatened by power
the metonymy of gloom and horror
mystery
Sorrow
fear
horror
...

well, you could consider the fire to be an element of fear, horror, or even mystery (how did the fire happen?). you could also see it as the character's breaking point, if i remember the story correctly.
well, my dears, it's two a.m. and i'm out of smokes. that means time for bed. i'll be back on tomorrow morning, okies?
