My band was in the Junior Rose Parade. Was anyone else in it? My band is Lewisville Middle School. Im now in high school but i want to know if any other ppl were in it. biggrin

I want to go. Will I ever? Not in my lifetime. My band sucks, and my director hates taking us places, and he doesn't want us to get better. (besides, the lead trumpet is so bad that he has to give up all of his solos to a tenor. ) cry

He took 1st chair from me... sweatdrop ...I think I was about 2 points away from his... mad ...

We were invited to march in the 07' rose parade.
I hope we go, it sounds so awesome >_<.
Although 5 miles (i believe it was 5...) of marching non-stop playing the same march over and over doesnt sound so pleasent...

Atarigurl14 I'm going to be in it. I'm the the Bands of America Honor Band. I fly out to California this coming monday. I'm really excited about it too. ^_^ SAME HERE!!!!!!!!!!

my band and colorguard, Valhalla High School, ...we tried out..but barely made it. I wish we made it though... crying we were sooo closseee

Our band directors said we might get to go while im here. we've applied, but theres like.. a several year waiting list, i think. ^-^;;

Haha a bunch of my friends were in it. They were in All Star. A Pasadena band! :'D All Star is a bunch of different people from different schools in Pasadena get together and preform. (If you didn't know that already... -_-''') I watched them march by me on the street... even though it was raining last year.

omg, like the suckiest band around is going in our area. Well they might have been just practicing parading this year so their show SUCKED a**!

Rose Parade....I don't think i'm thinking of the same Rose Parade as this thread is talking about....
Not the Grand Floral Rose Parade right? The one in Oregon in the spring?
Well we marched in that one last year....
