Success=12!!!
Shade dove forwards with the kind of grace and speed that he had managed to muster earlier. He hit the ground in a roll, springing to his feet as fast as he could and dashing on further. Behind him he heard what he could only imagine was two spiders colliding in mid-air.
Today must be my lucky day. Hope that doesn't change anytime soon.

As you continue down into the depths of the forest you begin to notice webs formed at the base of the trees and the further you go in the further out the webs are created. Finally you come to a deadend as the path is literally covered with a giant web. Stuck within its threads is what looks like, at least at the distance you're at: a human skull. Looking around the other the treeline looks in as bad as shape with the webbing as the path now, and in the morning sunlight you can see why this place is called Amberweb.
Objective: Race to the Center of Venomweb! (Part 3)
Power + 8-sided Dice = Attempt to force your way through the webbing
Intuition + 8-sided Dice = Analyse the situation for a way out, 10 or More Successes Needed

The 8 eyes stared at you for a moment before you noticed a /very/ subtle vibration of the webbing. This provoked the spider to then skitter out and rather than bite you, which you'd expect, it uses its legs to spin you around and attempt to fully entrap you!

Result = 13.3!
"Get out of my way!!!" having focused all his strength into his right arm, the thin strands of webbing snap freeing him sword from imprisonment. With a single swing the entire funnel web nest was obliterated, and with it went several of the spiders legs. After having completely freeing himself from his webby bonds, his eyes glanced at his "predator" as it hang there by a single leg upon what remains of its nest.
"You picked the wrong prey to trap in your sick threads." after saying that, he kept his sword at the ready, drifting low to his right hip as he left his victim for his true destination.

Hoshi's foot catches one of the tombstones, causing him to slip. With a yelp, he flies through the air like some sort of clumsy acrobat. He collides with the ground in a less than pleasant fashion.
"Kiiiira! I've already met Yura! This is lame!"
He runs as fast as his already tiring legs will carry him into the fog. His summoning book clatters against his back with a rhythmic thump-thump-thump, creating quite a bit of noise. Luckily, this was not a time for being stealthy. There was just a race to win!

Shade stood there with his arms crossed eying over the giant mass of webbing. He stood there for quite some time before finally admitting defeat in his own mind. "This thing is huge..." And there's no way I'm getting stuck in that...

"....damned webs." placing the palm of his left hand upon the butt of his hilt, Kage readies yet another sharp and swift strike against the intersecting obstacles. Again he is successful in tearing through all of the persistent sticky strands, cutting a large portion away and dashing through it but moments later.
"Hopefully my teammates are faring as well, if not better than I am. Having an incomplete team always becomes problematic." Kage mutters to himself, looking ahead and pursuing his goal.

ROLL = ********!!" He had looked around again, this time getting a little more worried. If I can't get past a bunch of webbing, what good am I? He gave the place another look over before cracking his knuckles and slipping out his scalpel.
Next time he was just gonna cut through it.

Hacking your way past the thick webbing you find yourself not in the clear at all. Looking around you realize are near the heart of Venomweb pass and have just entered in the main nest. However, just adhead of you is a flag with the Hidden Shadow symbol. But there is good news and bad news. The good news is you think you can make out a small opening that will lead out of the nest on the other side of the room. The bad news is, and unfortunately for you, there is a large 16-foot tarantula nearby between the flag and the exit. Due to the vibrations made from the sword strikes on the webbing it also seems to know /something/ is here as it is looking around.
Objective: Race to the Center of Venomweb! (Part 4)
Stealth + 8-sided Dice - 4 + 2 (for the 8-Roll) = Sneaking Successes
10 or More Successes Needed

As you ponder what you should do you think you hear some movement above and to the side of you...time's running out and it seems the spider(s) that the webbing belong to might be nearby....

s**t.....
Catching sight of the large tarantula between him and his goal bothered, even moreso because now it was aware that something was dwelling withing its nest. Taking care not to make any unnecessary noises he quietly sheathes his blade, and makes his way around the fairly large obstacle and towards the flag.
Sneaking around it proved more problematic.....the moment his sheath got caught on one of many strands of webbing, delivering a lovely little vibration towards one of the tarantulas eight legs.
Not good....

Shade flung several scalpels at the webbing, hoping beyond hope to somehow dislodge it or even to cut through it. s**t, why didn't I take the higher path?
He looked around carefully, another scalpel already in his hand. He knew that if his luck didn't return soon, then the spiders would.

The large tarantula felt the vibrations and turned around with the speed that only something with 8-legs could pull off. Its multiple eyes looked around and spotted you before using it's large and hairy front legs to try and grab you!

As the scalpels stuck into the wedding you saw the fine threads begin to vibrate. Suddenly from the treeline above you see a spider half your size dash down the web and is on top of the scalpels before you can blink. You then hear a rustling from above just in time to see another hungry spider dropping down towards you!

Realizing that it is reaching out to grab him, Kage leaps forward and slams the palm of his hand upon the tarantulas fuzzy noggin. Placing all of his weight into his arm he hoists himself up and over, flipping like an acrobat within the air, landing a few feet behind his foe and beside the flag. "Sorry friend, but I'm not the huggable type." he says, hovering his right hand over the hilt of his blade whilst reaching out with the opposite hand for the flag behind him.

"This is so icky!"
Hoshi leaps into the treetops rather gracefully. Leaves fall from the trees with his every step like feathers. He launches himself forward with both hands and feet, to hopefully catch up with the two other ninjas in front of him.

As you travelled through the treeline you notice that a lot of the spiderwebs around you have been recently disturbed. As such a lot of the spiders that would normally in hiding are out trying to fix their finely placed traps. However, you get the feeling that something nearby is paying more attention to you than to the damaged webbing.
Objective: Race to the Center of Venomweb! (Part 2)
Intuition + 8-sided Dice = Number of Successes for Evading Ambush
10 Successes or more needed to completely evade the oncoming ambushes and continue on. (Human-sized Funnel Web spider).
7 to 9 Successes needed to evade the oncoming ambushes, but you do not progress any further into Venomweb Pass.
6 or less Successes, you fell victim to the ambush and must free yourself (or die) before continuing on.

The large spider's front legs reach up to rub against it's face after you land behind him. A loud screetch echoes through the chamber that causes all of the fine webbing around the room to quake violently (but hopefully doesn't get the attention of any nearby arachnids) However, rather than turning around to assault you, it lifts its rear high into the air then sends it crashing back down in an attempt to crush you!
Speed + 8-sided Dice = Successes to Dodge
6 or less Successes is a Dramatic Failure and you are Stunned for a post and lose your actions
7 - 8 Successes is a failure and you are pinned underneath the spider's torso
9 or 10 Successes needed to Dodge
11 Successes needed to Dodge and Get the flag
12 or more Successes needed to Dodge, Get the Flag and Escape
