Well the cheerleading captin at our school is in band so it's pretty self explanitory.

You can't do band and any other "sport" at our school.
Cheerleaders hate us because we're prettier than them and we actually do excercise to stay in shape instead of throwing up or starving ourselves. They're jealous of our ability to eat.

They are also mad because our uniforms are so much cooler, and that we throw them off at football games during the fight song.. whee

My gf is a cheerleader and in band too...

Cheerleaders don't hate the band....openly. The philosophy at my school is:
If you have too much school spirit, and you can do a backflip, you're a cheerleader. If you have too much school spirit, and you arent nearly coordinated enough to do a backflip, you're a bando. Marching bando, anyways. There are a few cheerleaders in concert band.
I actuslly got hit in the head with a beach ball by a cheer leader today. Our halftime show is beach Boys, and the cheerleaders play volleyball over the band, while we stand in a pseudo-volleyball court. And my band director thinks it's a good idea to have the drumline as the "net" xp

Im a cheerleader and im in the band. I also dont know of any of my girls hating the band I know of people hating certain people in the band for personal reasons though. The only time we have conflicts is when Band and Cheerleading get crossed..... It all about school spirit

we have a shout out to cheer leaders every game that goes, "Hey Cheerleaders, how do YOU feel?!" And they go (in their high-pitched, squeeky voices), "We feel good, ohh we feel so good, hey!"
We don't hate each other. I feel bad for you people o.o

The cheerleaders at our school love the band now. They have to or the drumline won't play their cheers. Such as last year.

They gave us four cheer songs that we have to play to for them as they cheered. They told us to play 3 and we'd play an another one. And the cheerleaders looked so stupid dancing around to the wrong music with the wrong beat. So after a few incidents like that they stopped being so mean to us. And they appreciate us.

So funny cause now the whole SCHOOL appreciates us, since we got a new principal. It's so freakin' awesome! I love pep rallies now, they are so school-spirited. As for the cheerleaders, we give them more respect now cause they HAVE to give us their's. Or we'll play the wrong song. lol
