Alair thought for a minute. "Well, he's a construction worker and he used to work during the day until Halloween and then he said that he had to start working at night but he didn't say why which is silly 'cause don't you need to see to build houses?" The boy bit his lip worriedly. "I'm really worried about him..."

Luna ran along behind Tobi to keep up with him. It wasn't long before they reached the doors and she was rather shocked when Tobi held the doors open for her. "Um..." She blinked at him for a moment. She didn't think anyone did that sort of thing anymore! "Thanks," she finally offered shyly, a blush rising on her cheeks as she hurried past him into... bunches of trees and other plants. O.O "Hey Tobi! Come in here and check this place out! There's plants growing in here!"

Papina raised an eyebrow at Halcyon then peered at the watch. Wow. At least Isdra was here! She blinked as Alair started to ask Halcyon questions and kept silent as Halcyon and Alair talked. She worried a bit about Alair's dad. Not that she was going to say anything, seeing as Halcyon was trying to make Alair feel better. She did have to blink at Halcyon for a moment at the underground construction part, however. Whoever would want to work underground? "People work underground?" she asked, dubiously.

Alarai's eyebrows just rose higher and higher at Cordain's explanation. Just how old was he?! A hand rose to her collar as she cleared her throat nervously and tried not to blush at the last statement. "Ah, well... Er... That is... Um... I'm considered modern?" She certainly didn't think she was. Goodness knows her kids didn't think she was.

Tobi smiled, "No problem." He watched her enter and stood leaning on the door trying to figure out what he was doing.

At Luna's call, Tobi hurried inside and stood beside Luna his jaw dropping. He looked about him, "There's plants everywhere!" He took a few steps forward and touched a leaf, "And there real." Slowly following a path he stepped forward his eyes looking this way and that... "Hey Luna, do you think he has wild animals or something in here? I mean. Who has an indoor forest in there house? I know mum had something like that a few years ago when Dakota lived with her but then she moved out and mum had to move houses because the roots started to break through the ceiling......" His voice trailed off as he turned to face her.

Kat was standing near the buffet table and trying to figure out if there was any alcohol around. She needed something at least just to help her when the time came to getting back in the elevator. She shuddered. She looked about for someone to ask and gave up, not sure. And instead asked to the general room, "Uhh... Is there any... Uhh... Drink around here?" She wrung her hands nervously, expecting some wall to open or someone to 'appear' behind her or something rather posh any way.

Kat gave him a shy smile, "Uhh... Thank-you." She looked dumb-founded for a moment, curtsied -Because she teaches Tobi politeness she should have some.. somewhere- And headed over to the fridge. Kat pulled out the bottle and examined it, a large smile came across her face "Ohh, someone has taste." She popped the cork flicked up a wine glass off a table and poured out one -Sculled it and poured another, hoping no one noticed.

"Would anyone else like one?" It was a vague question but she meant well by it.
