After a couple hours, Nana was awakened by the sound of snow falling from the roof-top. She stirred in Khane's arms, and slyly maneuvered herself out of his grasp. She put the blanket back over him, and then got up to check out the cabin in which they had spent the night. There was a small kitchen in one of the corners of the chalet. Nana slowly walked in, peeking in through the doorway. There was a fridge, and a stove. That's as far as the luxury went.
This must be one of the smaller spaces for rent...
After studying the insides of the refrigerator she only found some eggs, milk, bread, and various fruits and vegetables.
I guess I could fix something up.

Khane stirred gently in his sleep, curling up into a ball in front of the fire, wrapped tightly in the blanket. He mewed and gurgled contently in his sleep, obviously entertained by whatever dream he was having.
((Gah, writer's block, My deepest apologies))

Death, in her angel form, knew Khane as soon as she spotted him. Walking into the cabin slowly, she held her staff perfectly straight up and down. She awakened him, not feeling patient enough to wait. "Hello." She said to Khane. "I know you, and you know me, but not formally. I am Death." Death stated sincerely, looking Khane in the eyes.

Khane looked up blearily. It was death alright. But meh... He rolled back over onto his side and curled up in the blanket again, drifting back into his peaceful slumber in front of the fire, managing to mutter out a quick response before nodding off completely."Kay... Good to know... night" As an after though Khane woke back up, and fished around in a nearby drawer, pulling out a 'Do Not Disturb sign, and hanging it off his ear, before going back to sleep.

(pssst! Death is not a happy-go-lucky pretty blonde angel!) Admin Edit: (nor is death female. Death in any given religion/spirituality is male, and given that you are the Angel of Death, you're supposed to be Male and carry a very large book with the names of everyone who was, is, and will be written down in it, along with a quill to make down their names, and where they go from there, heaven, hell or in between.) Mod Edit: (Well...it really HAS no gender really, but often is portrayed as male. -its hard to be male if you're the stereotypical grim reaper, he has no male parts. Or female parts.) Further Admin Edit: (Upon having looked over the Profile, I noticed that there are 'Good' and 'Evil' forms. Death is neither of these. Death is a force in the universe that is a valid and necessary as life. Every beginning must have an end. Every Open a close. To name Death as a force of evil an any way, form, or manner is simply preposterous.) Further Mod Edit: (Yep. Death may be opinionated as a good or bad thing, but it in itself is just a fact of existance, or, in this case inexistance.) Additional Mod Edit: (But in the original sourcing there are multiple death's. Yes their is the one with the book, but there are also others in charge of this duty besides the one. So therefore she can make death into what ever form she wishes.) Counter Edit: (While that is true, I had taken that into consideration. Put previous posts(ref Student Lounge) indicate that this is the original Angel of Death, so to speak. If it were simply Death, or AN Angel of Death I wouldn't have made any edits, but to the contrary, this is the quintessential Death. Also the blaring Evil/Good aspect forms of this Death character cannot be ignored. Death in now way is a force of evil, nor is it in any way a force of good. It simply is. Everything must die eventually. It isn't out of malice, spite, or any other given emotion, it is a simple, unadulterated fact. One of the few things that can be counted on is Death... that and Taxes.) Mod Counter Edit: (I thought that was just in America?) You get the point: (Civilized world in general unfortunately) Ditto: (Yeah. It would seem that the more each country is infected with taxes, the high it goes up in the countries that have had them the longest.)

As Nana desperately continued her search for some food, she heard a woman's voice coming from the "living room", or wherever it was that she left Khane. A little shocked, she slowly crept up to the doorway and stuck her head out to see a blond angel nearly hovering above his head. She looked as if light was radiating off her body, and it really intrigued Nana's simple mind. She crept towards where Khane lay, and when she was within arms length of the girl, she let out a very cliche cough.

Khane peaked up at Nana from his comfy place on the floor infront of the fireplace. Muttering under his breath something to the effect of 'For the love of god and all things kinky, how many people do I have to kill to get a good night's sleep... because it it's everyone, I'll do it...'
He got up, stretching. He was still in his boxers."Nana dear, this is Death, Death, this is Nana. Now that you two have met, Nana I suggest you go back to the kitchen where it's safe. You know where my dorm room is, so if things get ugly you know where to meet me. Death, I'll talk to you in the bedroom." With that, Khane talked off to the bedroom, he was radiating a certain level of... annoyance... almost a tangible aura of headache.

Nana was shocked. After last nights events she wasn't expecting such a strange wake-up call. After watching Khane disappear into the next-door room, she slowly walked back to the kitchen as she was told to do, still trying to listen in on the conversation, which to her dismay, hadn't started. All she could do was stay out of the way.
After making her way back to the kitchen, she picked up a pan, examined it, and threw it in the trash. It wasn't clear what had possessed her to do so, but it was easy to see she wasn't happy with the current circumstances. Frowning, she sat on top of the counter, and stared out the window.
The mountain peaks seemed to glow as the snow reflected the sun's gentle rays. It was still quite early in the day, all though Nana wasn't sure of the exact time. There weren't any clocks close to her, and she was too busy contemplating to look for one.

(Does it really matter? when girls around here draw death, we draw a female half angel, half demon thing.) Death walked into the bedroom, ready to talk. Her staff was still drawn, for defence.

(Just because a lot of people do it dosen't mean it's right, just saying.) Mod: (Kinda like religion! xD I'm kidding...kinda.) Khane stared death right in the face, letting out a low half-growl as he exhaled."I don't know how important you think you really are, nor do I much care. I get enough of you during work, I'm on holiday right now, and I'd rather not be bothered by work. So make it quick, before I decide that the world can do without you. Wouldn't be the first deity I've b***h slapped." The headache that Khane had was almost palpable, like a physical thing, a light mist of pure annoyance hanging in the air. Khane was obviously not a happy camper right now.

Soon enough, when Nana's moment of self-pity was over, she jumped down from the counter. She took the pan out of the trash, where she ruthlessly threw it just a couple minutes ago, and looked at it as if it was her worst enemy.
After a good scrubbing she placed it on the stove, and began to mix her concoctions. Nana carefully broke five eggs and put them in the pan. The loud sizzling blocked out the conversation happening just a couple feet, and a room away. As the eggs cooked, she added some cheese to the omelet and threw in a couple strips of bacon that she had luckily found. Watching the grease sparks fly out of the pan, Nana stood memorized. Her imagination wouldn't stop creating the possible outcomes of the dialog Khane and Death itself were having. She slightly shook her head in hopes that her thoughts would stop running through her head, but what they said about the curious cat was right.
Maybe a peek wouldn't hurt.

"Face it Khane, you can't kill Death. Death is the end to all others, and I already face a fate worse than what I bring. Just remember, when it's time, I will see you again." Death frowned, ready to leave. She knew more about the past and future of this world than anyone else in it, and she was the one who was chosen in the beginning to bring the end.
((This IS how I picture Death. Just leave me alone, I'm having a bad day...And I sometimes become more like Khane. Sure, I don't kill, but my posts get nasty...))

"Yeah, sure little one. Remember, myself and my brothers, we're not normal, we're Grey Gem. And you know what that means. We are fundamentally exempt from the rules of creation, because our existence was never planned in creation. We are enigma. Oh, and seeing that you took a physical form, you're mortal. Just letting you know. I'll see you in hell..." Khane smirked. He was right, as usual. He had b***h slapped deities before, he could do it again. The universe would always just choose another to take this Death's place.((as a note, you CAN in fact be killed.... creating an immortal character directly violates the no Godmodeing Rule)

As Nana crept once again through the small chalet, she only could hear a few words, but she knew it wasn't a friendly conversation.
What is Death doing paying Khane a visit? I always thought it was more like...
Nana tried to imagine Khane's death, but nothing could come to mind. All she could see in her mind is Khane kicking some serious a**. And besides that, she wasn't even sure how Death materialized unto a human. As she tried to sit still, crouching by a coffee table, her foot slipped from underneath her and she fell face forward bringing the table with her.
s**t! I'm the worst cat ever.
