At least the Old Sony Marketing Team new how to make a Funny Ad.
The news ones, peeh, the slogan sucks so much a**.....
The guy is a little funny though....
Actually the same company has been making Playstation commercials since the original U R NOT E commercial. They've just been recently let go and Sony is looking to a new ad agency meaning...
NEW MGS4 COMMERCIAL!!
LIQUID!
BROTHER!!
EPIC METAL GEAR RAY v. REX SHOWDOWN AT SHADOW MOSES (maybe)!
Or something like that. Though, I still think Sony should have hired me. I would have linked ever commercial by using the LBP Sackboys/girls being the PS3 mascot building your games for you.Now I know I'm not the only one that saw it. I've only seen it once and it came on as I was about to leave my room on The CW.

tangocat777 Daxelman tangocat777 HistoryWak Daxelman X-Legends-Never-Die-X Oh, man. I could argue this for days. DS pwns the PSP. Call me a fanboy. DS has a much wider and better library. DS' touch screen, microphone, and dual screens are actually changing the way we play games. PSP is just meant to be a power system you can hold in your hands. For that, I could play a console. DS is backwards compatible with one of the best handhelds ever, GBA. Due to the usage of the UMD format, PSP is not backwards compatible. DS has the download play function, so people who don't have your game can still have fun on a game. PSP has nothing of the sort. Pictochat is a lot of fun to do with friends. Almost all of PSP's non-gaming functions can be found on other electronics and can be used on home consoles as well. DS' functions are unique.
And With That.. WAK, LOCK THIS THREAD TANGO FINDS IT!! rofl stare sad smile biggrin mrgreen twisted

Pissh, Sony should hire me, I'd can refix the new PS3 ads with Ave Maria by Beethoven. And then there would be a fade in of "Playstation 3".
That's epic on a scale not even I can understand.

Ave Maria is so overdone that epic it is not.
No...
First it would kick off with a bongo ratta-tat-tat-pa-pat-tatat. Then, in comes a smooth jazz bass. The little sack boy comes falling in from the corner, big smile, then rips the screen leading into the game.
Then the sax right into a mean drum solo as the games flash. (Though for twisted or nightmarish games I'd probably use a more Fusion Bluesy Dark theme.)
Build it up right to the end with the final knock off. A blaring three horn climax into dull fade rolling along with a simple beat and the Playstation 3 logo does it's thing. Ba-boom boom ba-da ba-chish~
Either that or go with some kind of hip hop fusion Jazz centered around a piano piece since the PS3 looks a little like a piano and it has the gloss black finish on most.
It's not epic but I love the feel of Jazz clubs so, meh. 360 commercials would have a serious funk-bass showcase. Wii isn't really Jazz or Blues so you'd probably have to roll it up to at least mid 90s.

Some one didn't play enough Black. Or hasn't played enough Fallout.
The Ave Maria could work so well with with a PS3 commercial I'd be crying after it was done, though, it would have to be a PS3 exclusive game, not the console itself.
The console screams, "PLAY TECHNOLOGIC FOR GOD SAKES!!"
Heavy Rain would love to be top Nominate.
I'd just mix in the saddest, most distressful moments in the game with a short but sweet clip of the game, and then someone dies with a loud gunshot at the end. Bam, fade in "Heavy Rain", fade out, fade in PS3 logo, fade out.
Or, for Fallout 3, oh hell, contradict the commercial. Have "Never Gunna Give You Up" playing while bombs go off....Epically funny. Complete and utter win.
Or, for Burnout Paradise, "A Kiss To Build A Dream On" while numerous crashes in a montage style, and then a Mugshot at the end...
*foams at mouth*
PS3 wise, Just Play Technologic while have it doing every thing it does in the "Ladies and Gentlemen" ad. Make sure it fits too.
Ooooh, Timesplitters and "Robot Rock"......
Guitar Hero 4 and "Piggly Wiggly" by Retard-O-Bot.
Yeah, I went there. No body knows Retard-O-Bot.....
EDIT: Twisted Metal PS3: "Norris" by Retard-O-Bot, uncensored.
Rock Band song packs, some guitar riff from Halen, Eric, or Rush
Elder Scrolls 5: Arcanum Soundtrack. Nuff said on that last one.

Canis Lupus the LoneWolf Yeah, I don't need any justifications at all...I mooch off my brother for his DS xd I just don't feel it's necessary to point out all the "flaws" of other consoles to justify the fact that I like one. I mean... I don't like the PSP simply because the DS somehow pisses me off (and it doesn't, just an example). xd A lot of people seem to be attracted to the PSP for... reasons I can't quite comprehend. I can't help but think that most of the "I'm getting a PSP even though I don't know anything about the games!!" people (and there are a ton of them) are the same people that later end up saying "PSP is lame I sold it!!" confused It's just disappointing that people that didn't put any thought into getting one in the first place are supposed to be representative as former PSP owners. Something someone posted a while ago: Quote: if you are a gangster gamer you should buy the psp if you are just a gamer you should buy the ds rofl

I know this is an old post, but when I ran across it, I got really mad. (DS has the download play function, so people who don't have your game can still have fun on a game. PSP has nothing of the sort.) This is not true. There are many games for the PSP that let people who do not have the same game, be able to play with you. For example I have burnout for the PSP and it does have a function that sends the game information AD-HOC to a different PSP without the game, and the game will let you play 1 or 2 levels with someone who doesn't have the game.

I enjoy my PSPs selection of titles, as well as it's functionality as an mp3 player and it's ability to connect to my PS3. This is why I bought one. I have no reason to own a DS.

That means that I never sell a console until the next generation starts. That is because I know that all of the games coming out for the old systems will be crap at that point.
