His mind thought about it for a moment before he spoke. "How about you check me over when we get in my cave, and then you can tell me if I'm alright," he teased, sure that she wouldn't take up the silly offer.
If she did, well...he'd have to rethink some things, 'cause he didn't know how he'd take it. Probably a little too well, with how much he fancied her. But then with that, he'd probably freak out since he'd never liked someone like this before, and he really really didn't want to screw it up, and.
Well, maybe he should just let his mind rest. Things would happen as they happened.

She laughed, "I think your okay." She said as she bumped him lightly.
She was a little worried about that tumble he had, but it looked like he was walking alright. And his nose wasn't bleeding from the head plant.
"We just need to clean you up."

Feo's mind wandered, but he soon shook it in place, even if that took a real movement of his head. He laughed at himself before peering up to see if they were getting close to the cave. Finally! They were starting to get near it. He'd point it out when they got closer, though, just so she'd know exactly which one it was.
"Oh, yeah? Well, I'm very glad you think so," he smirked. "Though I don't know if being the rugged, unclean type is really my niche, what do you think?"

She giggled, and shook her head. "Not one bit." She looked over to him, "After all, your a Pridelander! We have to have you look the part." She smiled and licked him again.

Eee....a piece of his was still horribly embarassed by all this attention, but then a piece of him decided that he could start to get used to this, too...
"Oh!" he said with a jolt, pointing with his paw to where his cave was. "That's...the cave." He knew that she would check it out, judge it, and probably give him a report...all he could hope was that she liked it enough to at least sleep in it. Heh.

Jina's red eyes looked in the direction of his paw to see the cave. She smiled brightly, and looked back to him before racing off to the cave.
She slowed when she reached the mouth of the cave. Cautiously, she peeked her head into the cave, it looked big enough for the both of them. The cool air enveloped her head. A bright smile came across her face as she bounded in, rolling on her back, resting on the cold rock. It felt great on her black fur.

Feo padded up to the cave slowly, not knowing what Jina was doing in there. What was she thinking? He sure hoped that she liked it. Nerves ran across his whole body as he drew closer to it, his own red eyes trying to peer through the entrance to see where she was.
Peering his head in, he was finally able to see where she was. "Is it alright, Jina?" he asked, his eyes darting to the pink bits of her coat before finding her face again. Realizing that she had rolled over onto her back, he laughed a bit, relaxed since ti appeared that Jina liked it enough to make herself comfortable!

"It feels great.." She sad as she closed her eyes, her tail swayed on the ground happily. "Just the thing I needed on this hot day." She smiled brightly. She rolled onto her stomach and looked back to him. "Now, lets get you cleaned up." She said as she stood up and walked over to him.

"Oh, um...okay." He noticed that she was walking over to him again. Instead of just letting her stride up to him, though, he quickly managed to wiggle himself a bit in the cave before lying down on his belly, so that he would be a bit easier for Jina to reach at his mane. He did grow while their time apart, enough that sometimes it was still a little awkward for him to get used to being, well....so big!

Jina sat down and watched Feo lie on the caves floor. She smiled lightly and walked over to clean him up. She carefully licked through his mane, cleaning all of the grass and dirt that had matted its way into his burnt red fur.

"Mmmm, thank you, Jina, you're awesome," he complimented as he rested his head down on his paws. It felt really good to be groomed...groomed by someone you ah....ah, liked.
So relaxing, as well. He felt so comfortable here, like it just fit. It was right.
"Hey Jina, I know I'm going to sound annoying, repeating myself again, but...thank you for coming back. I missed you." He kept his head on the floor, but glanced up with his eyes to see if he could catch hers.

Jina continued to groom his mane, smiling lightly at the complement. "Thanks Feo." As he laid down, she moved to groom the top of his mane.
A soft smile came across her muzzle. She looked down to him, and leaned in close. "I missed you too." She said as she lie down beside him.
"I felt so bad when I realized I left you." She said softly, her smile vanishing. "I ran as fast as I could to get back."

Feo smiled, drawing Jina a bit closer to him. Though he had, in the past, carried a bit of bitterness that Jina left, all of that melted away when he laid eyes on her again. He couldn't be mad, not at all, once she had told him that she had finally seen her mother again.
"Y'know...it doesn't matter that much, though. You were able to see your mother again, and I'm sure that was incredible for you." He rolled onto his side so he could face Jina a bit more comfortably. "So I'm very glad for you."

She nodded, and looked into his deep red eyes. "It was very incredible." She looked down when she remembered seeing her. "Not only did I see her again, but I was able to meet one of my brothers, and watch a beautiful birth." She looked back to Feo once more. "Along with that, I was able to see you again." her eyes began to water, "I really am blessed."

"Aww," he said, nudging her and glancing away for a moment. "Doesn't mean you have to get glossy eyes about it. Just maybe think about it again if you're ever feeling down."
He cleared his throat before moving his face back towards Jina, a goofy smile across his face. "Besides, you've got me, and I'm totally enough blessings for you." Feo, always wanting to try and crack a joke at times, but never quite...hitting it correctly.
