"Hope?" he questioned as he nudged her a little.
"Alula, please... dun let this change anything between us. I do care about you, I don't want to occupy your heart unless you are absolutely sure that it is I you want it to be. In truth, my heart is still opened. Perhaps on these travels we will find that special someone. I mustn't have been the only leopard to have left the jungle and surely you cannot be the only cheetah," he licked her, as a friend. "You will have the wants, needs, and loves you desire too, I promise you that one day you will."
He started to leave, more so to continue their journey to the Ocean as this stop was merely to replenish before heading out. He stopped, flicking his tail and smiling back at her.
"I am glad I can make you smile, Alula," he spoke. He was happy that she was, she was after all his best and only friend really. She stuck with him and saved him from his loneliness. She seemed so wise about everything, about how it was only natural about how they should feel. She was right, it was sort of weird saying those words to just anyone, but perhaps it was even more so that he said it to another species than his own. He looked at her again and smiled even more. "Come on, lets not worry about this too much, we can talk about it more on the way. Lets keep our minds wide open to all the possibilities, now knowing that we are one of them."
Ba'kru lowered himself slightly.
"Come on, hop on, before this leopard gets to a movin'!"

The ebony cheetah gave him a sly grin, "I'll tell you once we get to the ocean." Alula wasn't about ready to tell him just yet, she still had to admit it to herself first. It was one of her biggest fears afterall, one she didn't want to go through. Her ears perked up at his words as she couldn't help but to smile at him, "I wouldn't let this change anything between us, don't you worry. It's always nice to get the burdens off of your heart. Makes everything better in the long run," She paused before continuing, "Then we have a deal! You promise me that I'll be wanted and needed and I'll promise you the same thing in return!"
She winked to him playfully, to help lighten the mood a bit. He had to be one of her closest friends now. While she was still very close with her eldest brother, she hasn't seen Kuro'kage in quite some time. Kru's words made her smile though, "This shall be an adventure of many sorts then!"
Her tail flicked before she pretended to be surprised, "Oh dear! We can't waste anytime now!" A soft giggle escaped from her before she crawled onto his back. This time, she was much more comfortable since she knew how to lay. Her head was placed near his neck as she replied, "I'm ready when you are!" Adding in, "Just remember, I don't mind walking at any time!"

He laughed as he walked along.
"Well then, even more the reason to go to the Ocean!" he laughed. He was all ready to go, he wanted to go, he wanted to be there with someone he cared about, in fact, he quite lied about ever being there. He has never gone and everything he knew about it was from other travelers, perhaps trying to impress her a bad idea if he got them lost! "You are right, Alula, now that we know, what obstacle stands before us but ourselves?" he grinned and pushed himself into a slight jog.
"An adventure of new beginnings, you could say, perhaps we will find our true loves, perhaps not! Perhaps we will have a family, maybe not! Who can say?" he called back in a rhetorical question. Shortly, he burst out into a full out run, still trying to maintain his balance to ease her ride.
"No time to waste at all~! I must know your decision, to the Ocean!"
