Jamaican_Beauty18 Goldfish-Queen I personally think that it doesn't matter. Whether you have sex before or after marriage doesn't really affect you. The only thing is if you have sex before marriage and get pregnant, that kind of sucks. That's the only thing most people are worried about nowadays. Other than their religion being the cause of abstinence before marriage. ur forgetting one thing hun-STDs What does that have to do with anything? Marriage doesn't affect whether or not an STD is transmitted...

Zorlock Darksoul thanks!
!!Goldfish-Queen!!
just asking and way off topic, but doesn't the pope or some one like that have to be virgin for life? and it's not impossible! trust me, i know a guy whos gay! and he's afraid of male parts, he don't do it! and a marine who still isn't married, age: 39! he hasn't yet!? it's possible to wait! and i don't care if you wait or not! i just think it is reccomended that you do, or atleast not go off and doing it with random people! not only that, but (i know off..) the std thing, if your with one person, and neither of you have done anything with anyone else, then you will NOT get std's, they come from people doing people! they arn't made like that.

I'm kinda saying the same thing as Toastes, but I'm going to rephrase it: Chances are, if you stick with one person, you won't get STDs. BUT STDs can also be hereditary so that's not entirely true...

Yeah, I can be with one junkie all my life, and chances are I'll still get an STD. Being with one person just minimizes the risk of getting an STD. It's doesn't destroy it. And also, what's to say that those people haven't been with at least one person their whole lives? Who knows what skeletons they might have in their closets.

"Forever...Actually, you cannot get a fatal STI if you and your partner were with no one else. NEVER. So you can't get a disease from sexual intercourse with your only partner if you are their only one as well. The only exception are ones you earn through skin contact (i.e. cold sores). And STIs are only gained by a baby when the mother already has one and is pregnant or when she actually gives birth, so you will be born with it - you don't gain it if you are born with it. ...and ever."

your very right, thankyou for joining us. but none the less, we are adressing sexual intercourse before marrage. but you are very right, and lets not get off to much k.
they were talking bout pregnancy, but if you would wait, that won't be a problem, and if yo uloved the person, once again, shouldn't be a problem. take responsibilty.
if you think you won't get a baby, wel your wrong, you should always keep that in mind. if you think there could be one, and you would regret the sex, then don't do it. but you shouldn't regret it.

It's exactly what Kyle said; if you AND your partner were only with each other, then there'd be nothing to worry about as far as STDs go. That's the whole point, so... your arguement doesn't exactly work when the point is that you should have sex with only one person. neutral

I'm just saying that it IS possible to get an STD even if you've only been with one person your entire life. Especially if 'been with' just refers to sex.

Yes, I know, but not if BOTH partners have only had (and only have) sex with each other.

You can't "win" a debate like this. Your question is flimsy, at best; there's no clear definition of "wrong". Wrong in the eyes of whom? God? The state? One's parents?
