My first druid flat out SUCKED despite the decent gear I had on him, as it was my first charrie and didn't know what I was doing with skills. So essentially I remade him and swapped his old gear onto the new Druid. So far, his Hurricane has nearly twice the duration of the old one's, and overall he's decent. Now I just need to level enough to use my Earthshifter, and then bust my a** to find an Earthmover.

what is an earthmover?? or do you mean the cranium basher? cause that is the one after earthshifter right?

Earthmover is a mace with a good amount of bonuses, the highlight being +7 elemental skills. And I've yet to see the Basher, so I honestly wouldn't know...

Earth Shifter is HORRIBLE for an elemental druid. The strength requirement is flat out insane. If you have enough str on your druid to use earthshifter, then your druid is crap. It doesn't matter what else he's using.

but what is an earthMOVER?

Oops, I accidentally said str bonus instead of requirement. Anyways, there is no such thing as Earth Mover. He is probably thinking of Earthshaker Battle Hammer.

behold, the elemental werebear build!
20%-firestorm
20%-armageddon
20%-fire claws
20%-volcano
5%-werebear
5%-lycanthropy
10%-maul(or another fire synergy)

oh so mighty, and so intimidating as well, a giant bear with meteors raining down around him, with claws of fire, and a green orb of doom swirling around him! The point spread is hard to decide on though, but since you can't get synergies from +skill items(like earshifter surprised ), I suggest investing more points in them, and save the +skill items for the moves. maul will increase the physical damage of your weapon, which you'll need for the fire immunes. But if you simply want superpowerful fire moves, then invest them in another fire synergy. Yes, the bear can cast armageddon. There are moves stronger than armageddon, and moves stronger than fireclaws, but both will be going at the same time, and with maul, and with a werebear, so you should do pretty well. Here's an item build I figured up
[]ravenlore(lower enemy fire rests ^^)
[]earshifter(what can I say, great damage and +7 to elemental)
[]bul-kathos rings(you'll need all the skill points and life steal you can get)
[]verdungo's hearty chord(you may be elemental, but you're still melee, damage reduce will help you insanely)
[]armor is up to you. Don't look at defense though, try to get some decent resist.(ormus robes and Arkaine Valor will boost your damage)
[]I have no idea if + to fire skills works for the druid as well, but if it does, use upgraded mage fists. You'll need the cast rate for armageddon
[]I prefer upgraded gore riders for melee, but boots are up to you
[]mara's kaleidoscope for the skills and resistance
and of course, tons and tons of skill charms. use some shapeshifting ones if you think your werebear is too weak, also to upgrade fire claws(remember, they're not an elemental skill)

well the true drawback to a physical druid is the lack of a shield but it's balanced with their massive life bonus from lycanthropy. personnaly i'm looken to make a werebear druid maxed lycan, werebear, oak sage, and maul then about 200 points in vit

On single player, I have a level 20 Wolfbrother Druid. I'm partial to Druids, really. I'll lose him when I have to take my Mac back to the college, though, as I only have the laptop for the semester.

Basically, it requires concentrating on Lycan, Werewolf, Fury and - possibly - the Wolf summons. He's pretty good, but his merc keeps dying - she needs better equipment. razz

I'd like to find some builds for other types of Druid. I'm tempted to try the Bear, however, he's a bit slow for my taste. I did play with it briefly... I may try again, though.

I felt like bringing back the taste of .09 with a MAUL WEREBEAR. Unfortunately, Maul no longer stuns players, so I get owned by paladins. On the plus side, I can just stand and swing against barbarians, and my Griswold's cadecus gives me a cool 6fps attack speed. All you need to kill a paladin is def, which Werebear gives a really crappy bonus for. Only 8k def. Lame.

Im gonna make a wolf today, with that skill fury, and im gonna make spirit wolfs and a maxed damage spirit, but I don't know if that is strong, probably not perfect, cause then you need a wind druid. though my wind druid isn't so good, don't know why everybody says windies are so good, but maybe mine will be good aswell...

just do a wind or fire druid, with as many skills as you can, make him on ladder cause you can make a 2skill shield there, and you won't get that on non-ladder
1 tip also if youre poor dont make a druid, without enigma n hoto wind druids sux and when u make a wolf one u needa be rich to cause without thorns + ebotd zerk n jalahs n sanctuary ur screwed...
If u are rich n u makin wolf druid make it either fire claws (huge dmg) rabies(posiens 2 hell) or fury (like zeal)
