She eyed his wings for a moment before stretching out her own, tilting her head so that she could watch as her own feathers shifted and extended before folding them back. She then looked at his once more, stretching her neck out so that she could touch her nose to feathers.
"You have to fold the bottom ones first... Then the top ones. The bottom ones tuck against your sides, like this..." She gave his wing another gentle nudge. "... And then the top ones can move. They just have to learn to be nice and work together."

"I know that. They're still too heavy." He tucked the back set up against his sides and from there it was obvious that there wasn't much room for the top set to fold over them. They had to fit across his back without actually folding properly.
"Too big for my body. Awkward"

"Maybe leave the top ones open a bit? It might make things a little easier." She nodded slowly as she took a step back, giving the colt some of his own space back before turning to glance in the direction she'd come from. "... I wonder... If my family misses me."

He wiggled his wings about until they could hold still for a bit comfortable. "Probably. Family should be together." He should be with his so they didn't wonder if he'd drowned under his own feathers.

"But... They wandered off while I was sleeping... And I don't know where they went..." Her brow furrowed slightly as she glanced back over her shoulder. "Do you know how to get back to yours?"

He nodded and pointed with one wing. "They're that way. Always toward ocean." That was the easiest way to find his grandmother and most of his family. So long as the dirt turned to sand and you could hear the water they were somewhere near bye.

Sariel on the other hand knew where he was.. kind of. He at least knew where his mother was. On the other hand, he hadnt seen his father yet... or his siblings. His mother had wandered away for a second just as he was emerging, he saw the general direction she went in... and tried to follow but.. obviously got kinda lost.
Looking around to try and find where the other two baskets where, he faintly remembered what they looked like.. Kinda.. "Helloo???"

"The ocean?" She had never heard of that. "Is it nice there? I..." Hearing another voice she startled, ducking behind the colt. "... Do you know that voice?"

"It is when you get used to it." His grandfather still had trouble walking in the sand but grandma and his mother and aunts seemed to do fine. His ears twitched toward the sound as she darted behind him. "No.... not familier."

Ears pricking he thought he heard voices slightly in the distance he was traveling. He didnt know any of the voices but, how could following a voice hurt? Walking towards the voice, he saw the three winged colt.... with maybe more then only three wings? The second filly wasnt too visible yet. "Hello?..."

She shifted so that she could peer around him, head tilting slightly. "... I think I might know who that voice belongs to." She said softly as she took a step out from behind the colt so that she could see the colt that shared a good bit of resemblance with her.

He blinked and looked between the two. "Brother to sister?" The two foals did look a lot alike. More so than he and his siblings so it was pretty clear they were siblings.

For a moment he thought he was staring in a mirror... or, at least a mirror that changes ones gender... but then he noticed small differences between the two, even if they where hardly any. She was like his..... half...identicle twin! "Sis?" Curious as he was he saw no harm in aproaching the duo, even while the black colt was there.

"Brother!" She smiled brightly as she emerged completely from behind the darker of the two colts, stretching out to touch her nose to her sibling's. "This," she turned back to her new friend, "is my brother... Brother, this is..." She blinked, frowning. "... I never asked you your name..."

"Mordecai...." He looked at the two again and shook his head. They did look far too much alike for his poor eyes. He'd just have to remember one was a colt and one was a filly and then he should be fine.
