"And you leave me with the beef heads?!" Darque cried as Alice ran away. The two buff guys were now going after him, 'Not the kind of fun i had in mind...' Darque thought as he dodged another punch from one of the big guys. The innkeeper, cook, and waitresses were going nuts, trying to calm the two buff guys down. The other people who were there all ran out, flooding the streets with cries for the police or some other officials to "stop the maddnes". "Complete chaos and i'm in the middle of it!" Darque all but sang as he ran out of the inn himself. It had turned into an all out brawl and the buff guys weren't even after him anymore so Darque strutted down the streets again, is pockets fuller then when he had walked into the inn. Those buff guys really didn't have much money on them, but the other people there, now they had some cash.

"Hey if the victims don't notice, who cares? " Alice said as a person wearing a police-like uniform ran by her. He looked back at her earring, and just continued running, eventually running into a pole. He looked like a real idiot, but Alice said noting, and tugged her hat farther down, to cover her ears. She was getting bored, and decided that she would go back to her ally and count her earnings for the day, after all she had worked harder than usual today.
"I'm gonna go back to my ally now, you can follow if you like." Alice looked back as she talked.

"Do you care? You're a thief, and I'm a 12 year old girl that is also a thief, so do you feel pity for me? I've stolen from thieves before, and I don't care if they steal from me. In fact, I stole from my parent's safe before I ran to this city. Or town. Or what ever this is..." Alice took a long pause, "Plus, do you think that I am gonna use this money for a good purpose?" Alice stopped walking outside of a shabby looking building, and opened the door inside, the old man at the front desk nodding to her as if to say hello. Alice nodded back.
"Hey gramps? Joey here?"
"You really favor that young one don't you?"
"I guess, but is he here?"
"Yea he's in the back."
Alice thanked the elder man and jumped over the counter, blocking off the rest of the building.

Alice walked all the way through the building that served as a children shelter. Well, not really, but anyone who was lost and didn't want to become a thief to live could stay there, if they were under 20 years old. They also didn't accept thieves, but they definitely accepted money, whether it was from a thief or not.
"Oh! Joey! There you are, I have something for you!" Alice said as she spotted a boy, about three feet tall. He looked about six years old, and he was smiling as he trotted over to Alice.
"Sis! You haven't come in so long, I was worrying! I hope that you don't get caught again!"
"Oh, I'm more skilled than that now. No need to worry! But here, look at what I got you." Alice reached into her pocket and produced what looked like a small, gold button.
"Oh, sis! Thank you!" Joey ran across the room, and stopped when he reached a small locker. He quickly and skillfully typed in the combination, yes, typed, and took out a jar full of golden objects. He twisted off the lid and placed the button on the top. When he turned around to thank Alice again, she was gone.

"And people thought i was weird..." Darque mumbled to himself as he happened to pass an ally with a floating girl holding to a garbage can in it. He paused in his walking and stopped at the mouth of the ally, staring up at the girl in the sky. "You need any help?" Darque called, finally walking all the way into the ally and taking a closer look at the girl. He recognized her from the inn, she was the cute waitress that he had spotted earlier.

"Why is everyone so darn fascinated with something they already have?" Darque mumbled again as he reached out and grabbed hold of the girl's out stretched hand and started to pull her down from the air.

"I'd like to think of myself as a kleptomaniac if anything." Darque replied, letting go of the girl slowly to see if she still floated if not held down.
