The PS3 has caught up with games. Free online play. Blu-Ray. Integrated wireless router. It's awesome and I've had both. I've never had a problem with my PS3, my XBOX360 has broken countless times.

Wii - Has it's spotlight games like SSBB and Super Mario Galaxy, which are amazing games, but many games just don't satisfy with gameplay nor graphics.
PS3 - Not really a player of one, but it's okay from what I've discovered. What's sad is that people say they only like it because of free online. Whoopdie doo.
XBOX360 - Great console, just don't play too long or you're SOL. Red rings can be a pain. Worth the buy though.

And speaking of E3, Nintendo kicked both Microsoft's and Sony's a***s this year!

Wii- Really the only console I've played, and I really like most of the games we have, plus I like how you can play Gamecube games and plug in Gamecube controllers to use instead of Wii remotes.
PS3- Never actually seen anyone with one, but they don't have very many good games... Some awesome games I'd like to play, but not many.
Xbox360- Watched my brother play it with his friends, and it has really awesome games and graphics, but I'm not really into CoD or those kinds of games.
My pick: Wii. Just because I like Nintendo RPG games the best. I don't like how Nintendo does Sonic, though. Genesis was the best with Sonic. Though, I will have a struggle with Wii and PS3, if PS3 ever gets a KH game...

I doubt it will, since Square's next Kingdom Hearts game after Birth by Sleep is gonna be for the 3DS.

I haven't seen or played a PS3 and gasp! an XBox, so I went for the Wii. I like Wii Sports. Sadly, I'm still playing the PS2...

Don't feel bad... I still have a PS2 as well. Much better for me, considering two of my favorite games are for PS2 only. KH and KHII

That's fine though. They still are selling PS2 games in stores.
Oh and about Sonic, Steffy, pick up either Sonic Rush or Sonic Rush Adventure. They've got the classic Sonic sidescrolling feel.

im a diehard fan of sonic. i loved him ever since i was introduced to the gaming world razz my first game was Sonic 2 for the genesis smile
And i cant wait for Sonic 4!!! or Sonic colors!!! think about it...
Sonic hasn't been doing so great, so now sega is going back to the start and making a DIRECT sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles! It's 2D, HD, and from what ive seen (and thats a lot, trust me) it is just like its predecessors!
Sonic Colors, sounds queer does it not? Well it isn't. If you've played Sonic Unleashed (PS3 or 360 versions preferred) you probably loved the day stages. they were fast, bright, colorful and hell of a lot of fun! Then there were the night stages. They were absolutely horrible sad speedless, boring, endless it seemed...
And with sonic colors, its sonic unleashed, but all daytime stages with speed and colorfulness!!! It just takes place in a space amusement park, and these aliens help give you special powers biggrin and steffy, the game is exclusively for the wii and DS biggrin

Okay, I've played Battlefield 3 and COD: MW3. And I have to say, both games are well made.
Yes, MW3 haters, it does use the exact same engine and it does repeat a lot of things that got annoying in the games before it (N00b-tubing). But it makes up for that in a storm of new content and wonderfully fun and addicting game play. The perks always give me the challenge of finding what I like to work with. And getting Kill streaks sends a shiver down my spine when I get to unleash a particularly devastating one *plays "Don't Fear the Reaper" XD*.
Now, Battlefield haters, back the ***K off, I prefer Bat3 for it's realistic game play and massive maps. It makes the games seem both fun and entertaining. The servers can be a problem sometimes, but for the most part are pretty easy to work with. Yes, finding people to kill on some of the larger maps can be a pain when all of the slots aren't filled, but full to semi-full games are absolute madness with non-stop action.
Both games have interesting ways to customize weapons and reward players for their skill. Both are epic-level shooters that leave most others in the dust. If you're a hardcore shooter, then I would suggest purchasing both, since both offer different types of game play. If you're looking for something more towards the realistic and epically large scale, OI would go with Battlefield. If you're going for more hectic (but still fun) close-to-mid range conflicts, the I would suggest MW3. Both are great additions to any shooter's library and are not games to be missed.
