To make it clear, by control I ment as if someone made a topic that belongs in a different forum section, if I were to say it now, the topic creator would probably just reply with a "how do you know?" or not reply at all, where as if I was a mod, I'd have the power to lock the topic and they would know to create it in the correct part of the forum. Thats what I ment by "control".

I don't feel welcome anymore. THe fun of being here in the beginning was fun. Sorry, I just. .. have to leave. I hope you understand. I hope this guild grows. I'm new here, but I have a suggestion.
People seem to get really uptight about Necro-ing. But, as far as I can tell, it doesn't say anywhere in any rules that we shouldn't necro.
I haven't gotten yelled at for it yet, but I figure that it's only a matter of time, because up until a few minutes ago, I thought that necro-ing was posting in a thread that's no longer on the first page, but I just learned that it's posting on a thread that hasn't been active for a month or longer. Which.. aha. Makes a bit of a difference.
But, my point is, if people are going to be yelled at for doing something wrong, shouldn't it say somewhere what that "something wrong" is?
And in any case... I don't really see what the big deal about necro-ing is unless it really gets out of hand. I mean, mild necro-ing prevents repeat threads, doesn't it? Personally I find repeat-threads more annoying than necro-ed threads.
So... Yeah. That's just something to think about.

We've already discussed that pretty thoroughly, and we've decided that necro'd posts aren't really anything we can deal with, and even if we did try to fuss at everyone, people would still do it.

Mild Necroing is just fine by me, but like what happened in '06 one girl in a matter of hours had knocked every single new thread off the front page by necroing threads which were several months old.
Needless to say I singlehandedly flamed her in every single thread she necroed, I then proceeded to lock them all. When she'd seen all my posts she PMed me and tried flaming me through PM, to which I posted here and everyone got to see how much of a ******** she was.
Alex could tell you the whole story, after a while she calmed down the necroing, but she started trying to flame everyone in every way she could think of because they weren't for Zutara. Alex and I teamed up on that one.
Summary:
Blah, blah, blah, I'm ******** awesome. Blah, blah, blah, keep necroing to a minimum.
