I think I just relized something
Highlight:
Now that Zuko has gone and taught Aang firebending..Maiko is probably dead...no , think about it..he left and is helping Aang, Maiko can't come back, It'd be retarted..Oh but you know what would be cool? If while they invaded..Katara and Zuko ran into Mai..yeah..that'd be funny rofl

Well, I wouldn't say it's impossible, but you're right, it is unlikely. Zuko has gone and done something completely different from what the boy Mai knew would do, and it's just one of the many things that have changed about him. It would be hard for Mai to understand that sort of change, in my opinion, and I don't think Zuko would want to associate himself with something or someone so closely tied to his old life.
I'm dying to see a confrontation between Mai and Katara, Mai and Zuko, or all three of them. I imagine it would be very intense.

I mean Katara could just out-right freeze Mai in a pillar of ice, and it's not going to kill her.
Zuko left Mai that scroll remember? And we don't know what is in it. Let alone her reaction to what he wrote. So it might have been a good-bye note.I agree with what Rachella22 said.

True, but I don't think Mai would go down without a fight. The battle might not last as long as if Katara was fighting, say, Azula, but I don't think it would end right away.

Um, how about no? You're just going off lacking evidence from the scene Spoiler Highlights Where Aang kissed Katara in Day of Black Sun, but Katara looked away like she knew she couldn't believe in Aang's love. Or she is worried that Aang might not survive his battle with Fire Lord Ozai. [My sister made me add this to not sound as rant-ish. sweatdrop ]

Her motion to the side of his face wasn't a romantic gesture, it was possible that she did this specific motion to get her water-bending chi flowing. This is something else, people say they know who'll win the shipping war. I, wanting to know, asked how. They said from this D-something or other knows and shared it with the creators of the site.
So, you're going to believe what some online site has written about the ending of Avatar and it's shipping war. While Mike and Bryan, you know, the creators of the show? Have yet to give us any inclination to the ending of the series?

Agreed. Also, in the commentary for DoBS, Mike and Bryan said Katara's reaction was imbiguous, and that her feelings about the kiss aren't clear. And trust is something that can be built over time - just because Katara doesn't trust Zuko now, doesn't mean she won't in the future.
Ahh, yes, the infamous, 'You know Zutara's never gonna happen' line, said by one of the shows actual voice actors. My response to this has always been simple - The voice actors only know the outcome of the episodes they've done acting for. Work on Season 3 hadn't even begun.
Don't worry. We all get a little ranty sometimes. ^.^ I actually like reading this sort of thing.

Actually...methinks she wouldn't give a crap about him if he wasn't royalty. There was more Zutara chemistry in Southern Raiders and the finale than there EVER will be for Maiko and Kataang. It's why so many family members of various other peeps kinda wondered why Zutara didn't become endgame.

And, yes, I'm with you on Mai liking him for royalty and riches. As another fan said (jakia, I think), "Would Mai still be with Zuko if he was working in a teashop in the Lower Ring?" I think not. And, no, Zuko serving them tea in the end scene is not the same thing - he's still Fire Lord, he's still rich, he's still returning to his palace in the end.
... Time to work on those Future fics. >.<
