Thanks LHH it means a lot. She was a great women. She bought me DH a month before it came out somehow. She knew I loved it very much. DH has a deep place in my heart.
I also agree with LHH's rules and such. So much to catch up on. Does anyone need help with an idea?

That was scarily confusing ><
So basically:
We put 3 wishes in the 3 categories and a description/general thing in the suprise me one.
Is that right? ...-is very confused-
What I don't get:
Which item do we gift? The "suprise me" or any of them?
Also, is there a sticky for this already?
And when you gift someone, can't they tell who gave the gift? (Or am I missing something important here...)
How do you want us to send the greeting to AccioFunds, PM? And where will AccioFund have the banners?

Oh just breath, these are ideas not written in stone...so I think. Your questions will be answered but I think we need to answer them our selfs first. (not disrespectfully) I am a little confused my self!

Nah, it's questions that help clarify stuff and so when the actual thread is made it won't be as confusing. And there isn't much time left (thanksgiving is in less than a week!) ><
Okay, I'll put suggestions (to answer my own questions):
I think after gifting an item you should say "I gifted a -enter category here- item to a -enter house name here-" just as extra information. Same with the "I was gifted..." stuff.
I still have no idea how the anonymous gifting thing works-gaia auto-PMs people and says "You recieved a gift from _____ would you like to see your inventory?" Maybe the gifting would go through AccioFunds or a volunteer (I would be willing to do this)
I'm guessing the chances mean every time you gift someone, you're eligible for another gift. And when your banners/welcome things end up on the...listed places...you get another chance.
Blah. Correct me if I'm wrong...

And I do think that our Avi's are going to have a lot of fun playing in the leaves! (I just hope that my Gwee doesn't light the leaves on fire!)

Click it twice to open it, fill in the amount, then click "change". Put in your password, and click "Accept this trade." Do you have a specific question/s

First sentence- right. There will be a thread created where everyone puts their list of 3 wishes and/or a surprise me. No thread has been created yet. Sometime soon it will be made and it will be in the Events forum. There will be an announcement, and the first post in this thread will have the link also.
When you gift someone, there is a box to check for anonymous gifting. We did this at Halloween- you can't tell who is gifting you. You can gift them with any gift on their list.
Greeting Banners are sent by PM to AccioFunds.
Try and send a regular size banner and a thumbnail of the banner.
AccioFunds posts the banners here.
See the "Welcome Announcement " thread - Directions and entries have started.

I am so excited for this Yule ball-and I would love to participate in it.
I would be more than happy to assist you in any way as you are creating this festivity...but I'm not sure how-or what I should do. I am willing to help however, so, if you need any help-I would love to be the one you'd ask.

Empress Cat, would you write up a contest for Holiday Fan Fiction? Since so many say they can't write, maybe it should be Favorite Holiday Fan Fiction written by Guild members or others?
Super Kool, your idea for decorating courtyards and common rooms while we're waiting for the Yule Ball is great. Would you write that up and PM it to me?
I'm gonna need help because I've got a VIP coming to talk with several groups about stress relief from the fires - and I'll be tight on time through Dec. 1.

SuperKoolPartyGal101 I hope everything works out on the fires and such! We have a lot of issues tornadoes. Ok getting to the point. For the Halloween event we had the main posting forum. Well I think maybe a few days in advance to the actual ball we could have Rp's on getting ready and such. Suppose we start that morning say so and so is excited, but has a zit! Conflicts with guys also. We could have major RP's just to get everyone in the spirit and to have some fun! Topic Forums (I think we might consider having!) Main Ball Forum (given) All four Common Rooms for preparing and getting ready for the ball (mind these are different from the common rooms in the main forum!) Some classes (option) Entrance Hall This is a rough idea, let me know what you think and I would be happy to sort this out. I think the Entrance hall with RP might work as people are preparing to go to the Ball - would you be able to run it, and do some recruiting for help to run it?
