The Dark Magician glanced to Seto as he arrived and took hold of his little brother. His eyes narrowed at the angry yell, feeling a little annoyed at the ungratefulness of the human. "Then you should protect him better." He retorted, with an angry undertone "I wouldn't have hit the boy. But as you wish, next time I'll let the harpy tear him to shreds."

Then again, he didn't really mean that. It wasn't really the boy's fault that his elder brother was such a stuck-up ... better not finish that. The Mage coughed "Did you see any other Magicians around, by the way? Or at least other monsters that weren't trying to kill all humans in sight."

"Well, that sounds like Ria..." The Dark Magician commented, but before following Seto, he looked to the mansion after the little boy had gone inside. He chanted a spell, the orb of his staff glowed and there was a shimmer around the whole mansion. At the human's questioning look, Mage explained "I put a warding spell upon your house, so no evil monsters can enter it and attack your little brother while you're gone." At least that might reassure the human that he had meant no harm to the child.

He followed the human boy as Seto walked down the street, until a familiar Magician monster came into sight. "Ria!" Mage called out, heading over to the other shadow monster "There you are at last, where did you run off to?"

Seto didnt respond. He wasnt one to give thanks. He stopped as they found the girl magician. "Now, tell me why youre here." he demanded from the magician once they were done speaking.

Ria grinned. "My master!" she chimed happily. She looked at whip and thanked him as he flew off before she floated over to her magician master. She went to hug him but quickly remembered her place and bowed instead. He was her friend but her teacher as well. She looked up at him, hearing his question. "There was a dark clown attacking some people so I went to help." She explained. When I looked back you were gone..."

"So all we have to do is defeat these monsters and their leader and you'll all leave?" Seto asked just making sure. He looked around at the half destroyed buildings. "Then I help. But only for my own benifit." He said, closing his eyes for a moment in thought. He reopened his eyes and looked at them. "So where is this Ruin?" He glanced over at Joey. "Get over here Wheeler!" he ordered. As much as he hated Joey he could always use him as a test subject. Seto may not seem like he would be a big help but he had his technology and a lot of information on Duel monsters.

Ria looked around for Dark Magician Girl, not seeing her with their master. She was about to ask but the human interupted her with his questions. She pouted slightly and then glared at the humn, putting her hands on her hips. "We're trying to help you! Stop being so selfish!" She said but Seto ignored her.

"I believe Ruin is still in the Shadow Realm, for if she was here, we'd probably have noticed her presence. Currently she's only sending out her minions to this world." Dark Magician remarked to Seto's question where Ruin was. He glanced to Joey as he arrived too, and recognised him as one of Yugi's friends. He was about to ask if he knew where Yugi was when Whiptail Crow returned.

Mage looked puzzled to the two duel disks. "I can understand that duel disk, it would be wielded by a human who's willing to fight for the human world on our side. But then who would wield the other disk on the side of Ruin?"

Ria tilted her head to the side. She floated up a bit more to look over his shoulder at the duel disks. "Maybe we should find who the duel disks belong too. Maybe this one is supposed to help up and the other..." She thought outloud.

Seto looked at the card on the duel disk. "She doesnt look so tough to me." He scoffed. He went to take her card and rip it up but something stopped his hand from touching the disk. He placed his hand back at his side. "So how do we get to this realm?"

Ruin sat on her throne, a holographic version of the world in front of her. She could zoom in and see where each one of her followers were and what they were doing. She spotted the dark magician and decided to send him a bit of trouble, one of her most loyal followers. A dark magician of a different variety... "Go..." She ordered and he lept uup from his spot beside her.

{sup! I've been itching for a good yuugiou rp, and this is the only one where I can get away with playing as the best card-character of all time.

Powers: Mastery over convienently placed warps, or dimensionholes; because of her place as a D.D. card, she can use the dimensionholes she creates to return to and from the Different Dimension. She must be adept at. Avoiding attack, because she is not very strong herself. However, even if she is bested in battle, she has never seen the graveyard -- even if she is overpowered, she will return to the different dimension, taking her opponent with her.
Weapons: A stout light-sword
Bio: Ruin's hold on the duel monsters universe has reached the point where refugee creatures have been looking for sanctuary wherever they can find it. Unfortunately, these refugees have found it in the Different Dimension. The DDM-Different Dimension Master has had enough of this, and so sent his best warrior to find, follow and defeat Ruin. The DDM only gave her a solitary Primal Seed to aid her.
