Briarrose hummed softly to herself, weaving the flower she was so named for through her wild purple hair. She was basking in the sun, her eyes closed against the terrible school she had been caged in. But there was no real escape; the sounds of fighting and crying still touched her ears. The lamenting of the hopeless and lost, the brash words of the spiteful and afraid, it all reached her. She doubted that anyone could really be sane here.
And so she hummed. There was a war going on, and all she could do was sit in the sun and play with flowers.
So be it, peace was peace.

"My room, I need to unpack my bags, and get my plants settled." She held up a basket with a few potted plants. "What clan are you from? If you don't mind my asking?"

"Kye! Kye!" A black haired teen walked briskly past a group of girl calling his name with a small half wave. He continued his pace, not stopping to talk to any of them. They always wanted to talk to him anyhow.

He rounded a corner of the school only to bump into another school fight. One of his clan versus a Lycan. He sighed as he walked past, not even bothering to watch the outcome. It didn't even matter anyways, in the end, everyone got hurt. No one seemed to share his thoughts about this war.

Alice sighed before throwing her bags in the corner of the room and plopping down on the hard mattress in her new dorm. She glanced around at the bare white walls. Using her telekinesis she opened one of her bags and pulled out a large poster of her favorite band, The Birthday Massacre, and a few pins. She tacked it to the wall opposite of her bed. Now the room felt some what less like a prison. She knew she would have a hard time fitting in, especially since she was from the Crusnik clan. Yet she would grin and bare it, like she always did.
After another few minutes lying there playing out several scenarios on how she was going to survive this (none very pleasant) she decided she would go explore the campus. She left her room and headed for the courtyard, book in hand. As she walked through the hall she tripped through a group of people, and was of course laughed at for nearly falling on her face. She stood up quickly and ran down the halls. Desperate for an escape from her laughing classmates. She came to a near exit and went for it. Not knowing where it went.
She was outside of the Dormitory building, facing a almost inviting patch of forest. Alice started toward it, spotting a small path through it. She entered the forest and was greeted with the sweet aroma of the fall plants and cool fresh breeze. Finally she came to a small clearing, the leaves scattered across the soft grass, and the trees loomed over blocking out most of the remaining sunlight. She leaned against a tree and lost herself in her thoughts when she heard footsteps behind her.
She froze, her powers buzzing in her mind, ready to attack at anytime.

Alana opened the door for her with a jiggle of the handle and a short knocking noise done in small, rapid patters. "That's you personal code for opening your room. Memorize it." She winked and continued on, "We're a cautious bunch. . .at times." Alana danced off down the hallways, waving at Noelle over her shoulder and flicking a small folded up bit of paper that read

If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask. Though try to keep it secret for your kind, I'm sure they wont like me much.

Kyle yawns and put his book in his bag then leaves his room walking down the halls and heads do go get something to eat. After getting his food he finds a table that is unocupied and sits there quitly eating then after he is done heads out into the court yard and trys to see if he can find anyone he knows. So he goes back to his room and calles it a night.

Noelle carried one of her potted plants, an orchid, with her in her basket. She walked out of her room, and walked around. She knocked on one of the doors, deciding to introduce herself to her neighbors. Hopefully they weren't going to hold it against her that she was an elemental.
