Alas laughed at the growls and darted about giving tender nuzzle and licks as he pulled her into a hug. She let herself happily fall against him pink and dark blue blending in the dark forest. She couldn't have kept her tail from wavering in such an excited manner even if she had wanted to.
"I just wish it could be like this for us always..." she smiled at the alpha. Still she knew that as adults they had responsibility and tonight was not to talk and play and romp. There was a serious threat to her well being and now she feared it did not just come from a lynx but a wolf as well.
She moved to sit in the clearing still smiling despite the serious tone she knew Crunch would take.

At the mixture of soft pink, dark blue and white fur, it seemed to give a signal for the game to end. Well besides Alas and her simple wish. His heart sank at the words, but the moment she joined the pack, that would be when her dreams and wishes came true. All of them, or at least what the large alpha could get to happen.
Tail still waving about high in the air, like a battle flag at the waving of victory, Crunch looked into the soft sapphire gems that gleamed before him. The blue male moved beside Alas and sat down next to her.
"I know you also came for a lesson, as promised I'll continue with training you, more so now then ever before. I don't want a piece of fur to be injured upon your crown." Crunch spoke tenderly, still a bit breathless from the little game of tag, but his voice was becoming more serious with every word. "Now where were we?"

A soft smile still played along her muzzle despite the more serious tone Crunch took on. It seemed so very long ago that she had landed on his back and caused the stiff growls that had ended their lesson. Now she felt more secure, her ocean swims had tones her muscles and created a sleeker healthier pink shape than before.
"I believe last lesson we left off with offensive and defense...and how to evade an enemy?" She tilted her head and sat still, the pupil now though a tender love lay beneath that mask.

Crunch nodded his head once, "Right, Remember anything that we covered in those categories the last time?" Crunch remembered, but the time that elapsed from the lessons were to see if Alas could call the lesson up at this meeting.

"Of course, How could I forget anything you say with that deep strong voice..." she smirked and gave him a sidelong glance. She knew it was serious, but now that she had laid her heart on the line it only felt right to be relaxed and open with Crunch.
"You taught me so much...the way to go for the ears, the mouth, how to avoid claws. To be warry of attacks from above and sudden pounces. Protecting my neck and back...so much yet I don't think I was intended to fight. Healing has always been my skill, but you've taught me enough that I can escape and live to heal myself."

Crunch smiled with relief, even at her soft joke. "Very impressive, though I knew you would do a lot better then Snickers with memory." The alpha was very proud of his beloved.
"Though, you did forget about blind spots, but I've very impressed, Love," he commented and seemed to think for a moment about something else. "Does that mean you have learned what you feel will help you the most? Those are the basics to know and with your memory, very safe."

Alas nodded and moved to gently nuzzle the large alpha. "I had an excellent teacher...I think I've learned what I can, what will stay with me when I need it most."
She took a deep breath, she would have to return to the pack soon, Twist became suspicious so easily now.

"I'm glad to hear I was able to help some," Crunch gave a gentle smile at Alas, but the sigh her heard. That bothered him, did she have to leave already? Ah, the large blue male would be happy when the day came that he wouldn't have to worry about Alas in her pack.
Hopefully, soon she would be the head of his pack with him. It might rub Twix the wrong way for a bit, but his sister should know that she was his wing man...er..female. She would be the one that he needed to tell about the meeting and need her to help him out with the meeting held by the other alpha. Information would need to be with held and Crunch would have to align his stories with Twix to make sure that nothing dangerous could befall the healer before she joined the pack, and after.

"I wish I didn't have to go...but Twist has become less and less tolerant, I think she's been telling the others...things." She took a deep breath, not liking the path things were heading.
"But Crunch, when you meet with Twist please don't let anything between us cause problems for you pack...if I need to I can...I can find a way away..." She looked at him slightly worried she didn't like the thought of being away from Crunch, but she wanted no war between packs. She could endure Agua Azul she knew how to stand her ground. If she could fight a spreading infection then she would treat the spreading malcontents in her pack the same.
Soft blue eyes gazed into darker pools for a moment she lightly moved her white lacy paws closer to his white cracked ones. "I love you Crunch..." She offered a small smile of assurance.

The alpha looked down into the soft blue eyes, she did have to go. It broke his heart, like always, but he understood. "I don't want trouble to be caused just for us. If you need to keep up with things in your pack, please do, but don't forget. You do know where my den is and the entrance is always open, wither Twix likes it or not." He half joked, but it was no joking matter that his sister obviously didn't like his heart's choice in a mate.
"Dear, fair, Alas, don't worry about me. I can handle two other alphas, with my caramel hued sister. I'm sure things will run smoothly, or at least I hope so." He nuzzled his nose deep into the pink fur and then wuffled into her ear gently. "Don't say such things either, you won't have to run from here. You have friends and potential family among you in my lands. Alas, these lands are your's too, it's just part of the love that I have for you that dances in the wind here. My heart will go with you when you leave." He draped his tail over top of hers and smiled tenderly.

Alas felt her heart warm at Crunch's words, at least if things went wrong she could come to him, home. She pressed close against him and nodded softly. She knew he tried to keep a light tone about his sister, but Alas dispaired the caramel beta would never take any liking to her.
"I'll come back to you safe and sound soon enough...and then we can..." She flushed. "We'll have time enough once things have settled..." She slowly pulled away and felt a chill run down her spine. If they kill you, you'll never see him again... She ignored her thoughts and lightly licked his muzzle.

"Soon..." She nodded and slowly turned away reluctant to leave what she had finally found. With a heavy heart and light steps, the pink healer headed to a place she no longer saw as a true home.

The alpha turned around after he couldn't see Alas any more, and headed back towards his den. It would probably be wise to tell Butterfinger about what happened to his brother.
