"Not everyone likes the snow... I haven't seen it to know whether or not I'll like it... But I'm sure I will." She would if only because her mother saw such beauty in it. "Why don't you like the snow?"

He thought of that for a minute, and remembered when he had been a french fighting Stallion. He had taken such abuse, and his life had started not long before that. It was a sad time indeed.

"You shouldn't let the past taint the possibilities of the future." She nodded slowly as she looked to the stallion that had contributed in part to the mare that she was today. She may not have known him beyond her mother's words prior to this... But she could say that she at least knew a part of him now.
"I... Should probably head home. That's where I was on my way to... You'll have a good night, won't you?"

"I shall indeed have a better night now that I have caught up with my daughter." He said, coming in and giving her a quick nuzzle. He didnt want to bother her too much, but he couldnt leave without the closure.
"I love you Memory, and you take care of yourself, and your mother and brother."

She smiled, returning the light nuzzle before turning away from the stallion. Once she made it to the edge of the forest she glance back. She stared at the stallion for a moment, committing bits of the night to memory... Memories, like her name.
"Good night... Father." She smiled before disappearing into the forest.
