lemurs366 i just bought and read Wooden Heart (10th Doctor) i liked it a lot, so i rad it literally 4 times in one day (buit i do that a lot) i really want to get more though, but my mum thinks tha my reading habits will make her broke, so i have to space out my purcheses lol. Well, I found out on Wikipedia that there's been 6 books out that I've never heard about and 6 on their way. My DS is almost broke so that's about £100 on a new one, there's a load of CDs I wanna get, so that's about £100 and 12 books at £6 each... To the library! (And Limewire, if that weren't ilegal. xD) Anyway, I liked Wooden Heart. I'm reading it now. Go to your local library. Usually you can order books in from other branches. It doesn't cost anything... Well, not where I live. Richard_Swift Most ten year olds, possibly. But any ten year olds of the kind likely to be reading for pleasure in the first place are probably going to find them well within their comfort zone. Hmm, I'll remember to try this on the ten year old who I need to test my stuff on for my ICT GCSE. I still think that some are too complicated for ten year olds... It makes my head hurt when I'm tired. xD. I'll have to get in to all the old Doctor Whos... I've seen some on video. Last Christmas me and my sister both got a huge pile of the videos each. xD. I got the Key to Time series. I didn't even see the whole thing... xd

If it was ever made into an episode I'd have the perfect song to put clips to. Evil Angel by Breaking Benjamin... Or Even Angels Cry by Jars of Clay... Or Looking for Angels by Skillet. Actually, EAC would work for the Weeping Angels. On a completely unrelated note, I have a fanfic called Even Angels Cry on Fanfiction.net. xD

Nice clear-up about the intended age range for the current books in this month's Doctor Who magazine.
Simon Guerrier (who's really in my good books for his work as producer of Big Finish's Bernice Summerfield range) has written The Pirate Loop, a tenth Doctor novel out at the end of December. While writing it he was having rouble getting the tone right and asked Justin Richards, the overall editor of BBC Books' Doctor Who line, what age group the books should be pitched at.
The answer was, "Think Harry Potter 1 and 2, but not 3."
So there we go then.
The current novels are aimed at a readership who aren't quite yet ready for something as mature as The Prisoner of Azkaban. Interpret as you will.
